KremaP: You are joking...haha...we do have snow, more then we wish sometimes and one of the best ski resorts too...

.
And that's why its better here than Bulgaria because we don't have cold or snow in the two places l mentioned. Sierra Nevada or Serra da Estrela is different.

SistaCallie: Nicola Sturgeon takes steps to keep Scotland in EU
She also said government is working to reassure businesses worried of instability after Brexit vote.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said Saturday that she is beginning immediate talks with Brussels to “protect Scotland’s place in the EU.”

Sturgeon said “the necessary legislation will be put in place for a second Scottish independence referendum.”

Britain should surprise Scotland , by immediately severing all ties with them; basically, kick them out of any and all union with Britain. This solves 2 vexing problems; it finally ends the never ending "Scottish Question" it forces them to accept real independence until they can negotiate EU membership as a sovereign country and will force them to finally grow-up and accept responsibility. Cut of all pension payments from Britain; erect a real wall with barbed wire all along the border and require EU passports to enter Britain. in fact this would be a great time to charge Cameron and his cronies for Treason in having made England a part of the EU or band them and their families from Britain, revoke their citizenship and send them all to Brussels subject to arrest and imprisonment should they try to return. Send them off with just a change of clothes having confiscated all their fortunes, stocks, bonds, etc. beforehand Ruin them as they have tried to ruin Britain with EU membership. Then, make some new laws concerning any and all politicians being convicted of monetary crimes. Make it an act of Treason against the people of Britain with 50 years in prison and then exile and they can re-unite with their families already in exile from day one of any conviction. Perhaps such penalties would promote some basic honesty in that class of public leeches. Just some thoughts...yay

felixis99: do you really want to know, or just wanting a debate?

Honestly mostly because I believe they have the right to make the decision as I alluded to in my response to allthegoodnames. They are a sovereign nation. They have the right to decide if they want their own currency, and to control their borders.

Otherwise I am no economist I do not know the details of the economic situation. I just believe in their right to their sovereignty (whether exit is right or wrong , it is theirs to decide). How that works between England, Ireland and Scotland, they will have to resolve.

A Debate?
That would be mentally stimulating yet not much of it here.

As for Brexit I do believe too they have their right to choose whatever they see fit for them the same way that Cubans had chosen their way of living.

Brexit will catalyze several global changes, not only in the monetary markets but in geography and politics.

Hell yeah , tower of London have any room for them ?? . I think it sad that Scotland wants out but out it must be . What are Scotlands options if the EU unravels , where will that leave them . Are scots able to see just a little forward or is the anti England sentiment to strong among their leaders that it blinds them . blues

Bogart_1960: The governor of the Bank of England has stepped forward to calm financial markets after the Brexit vote sent the pound to its lowest level since 1985 and at one point wiped £120bn off the value of Britain’s leading shares.

not everyone can be good at economics and contemporary politics. but could improve however with a visit to a library, or even the internet.

Good luck.

world is flat. !

OK good because I really don't know enough about it to debate beyond what I have already said. I think it is confusing with Scotland and their independence movement too. Unless they are independent won't they be leaving the EU whether they like it or not? I thought they had lost the vote for independence, but I could have also lost track if there was another vote. What I really fail to see is the benefit for England and the English taxpayers to remain in the EUdunno

I guess I should listen to Bogart and do some research but I would rather watch a good movie applause

definitely yes. you should concentrate in watching movies and eating donuts, as world economics (don’t google it, it’s not a movie) or world politics (also not a movie) are way above your understanding.

I would suggest adding to your movie diet some English biscuits – the original ones - they don’t give laughing gas.

you really are clueless. rest in peace.

Just got back from holidays. Congrats to Brits! applause I was rooting for the leave side - just heard about the petition for a new referendum, what does that mean? Can they do it?

I keep on thinking about how the Irish were made to vote again and again until the vote was what the political establishment wanted it to be.
