police today are equipped and can handle any situation. they routinely patrol ALL areas of their precincts.
america is the king of assimilation. my community has whites, blacks, orange. we live, work and play together. sometimes we all don't get along, and mishaps happen, but the differences are quickly squelched and we carry on. america has grown to be a superpower and the envy of the world. they're not called the united states for nothing.
and finally, these pockets of ethnic business districts that exist are more about sharing a part of their culture with the rest of us. of course it also allows for them to be productive, earn a living and contribute to this great nation. some of them go home to the suburbs while others live in their communities within a community. we are the strongest country in the world built by immigrants. don't forget it.

Not true, I think its a great thing.
Its an amazing country in so many ways, and the assimilation of different peoples, races, ethnicity etc is a large part of what makes it so.
