I like my Oki Oki Printer

OKI manufactured the first telephone in Japan in 1881, and now specializes not only in developing and manufacturing telecommunication equipment but also in information products and mechatronics products, such as Automated teller machine (ATMs) and printers.

sad really that Gates borrowed so many good ideas and called them his Microsoft Windows Operating system
I actually got pile of Office and Windows books that explain every function, its usage and how to use, not just manuals whole serious of Office and Windows Books that came with my first computer.

Then there is this sort of information being pedaled :-

Called the “Model K” Adder because he built it on his “Kitchen” table, this simple demonstration circuit provides proof of concept for applying Boolean logic to the design of computers, resulting in construction of the relay-based Model I Complex Calculator in 1939. That same year in Germany, engineer Konrad Zuse built his Z2 computer, also using telephone company relays.

Ah dear Pur, America has become great because of the type of immigrants it got in the first place.

I am not sure why it is so hard to see the differences between what is going now in Europe and what went on when the Europeans settled in the States. wave

Even if multi culti works for you (which I do not believe, based on what I saw in the States and heard from friends), our European cultural diversity is enough for us, there is no need for adopting/adapting to some backwards customs the current immigrants bring.

there will never be a "Wall" as such
Scotland is so hanging in their land.
Ireland is so sadly divided yet passionate about who they are.

Thank you U.K. for telling the EU to KISS IT!
To be manipulated by an organization to be forced to take agreements such as the movement of people is insane.
The EU benefits the elites not the working class your guests live better then you.
We have the same problems in the States and hopefully it can be turned around by next election....it's a nightmare that needs an end.
Borders,culture,and language....is everything!

an event such as brexit was inevitable for the eu, its a major pressure release event for the whole region, possibly even for the globe. i just hope our governments take note and this forces change within the whole region or i do think the eu is doomed. time will tell i guess

one would have a difficult time discussing the melting pot that is america without first understanding that this mix immigrated from many, many places around the globe, including arabs.

the europeans weren't the only ones to settle in america. so, to have a discussion about one single group doesn't begin to tell the unique story that is the assimilation of all the different groups that built this power house.

if you want to compare what i think is the biggest difference between what is now going on in europe and one group of immigrants who settled in america, i would say back then, the european immigrants a long with all the other nationalities realized the tremendous opportunity they were given. an opportunity that if given the chance they would certainly make something of it. and today, looking back, i would say they succeeded.

what is now taking place over in your neck of the woods, i can only go by what i read. from what i understand, the immigrants are taking the opportunity to get their benefits before earning them. crossing borders shouldn't be a qualifier. perhaps some money and health benefits for women and children for 6 months, then their cut off. 6 months is plenty of time to find work.

multi-cultural works because the country i live in is proof of the fact. for example, during the first wave of arab immigration men outnumbered women 4 to 1. causing a high intermarriage rate. a 1990 census showed 80 percent of us born arab-americans had non-arab spouses.

You already know way better than me that there are still some legalities to overcome.

I have plans for living long enough to see the results of the brexit and I do believe EU is starting to break.

Something that amazes me is that some British say how great their UK country is, they voted Brexit and they do not live in their country.

I think , and I could be talking out of turn , that the current wave of immigration has among them a number who don't wish to assimilate and would rather carry on their traditions , all be it new ones , of blowing themselves up and all who are close .Hang it all they could stay home and do that , I and a few others , and I could be guessing here , wish the fec they would !!
