doreen1: I agree with what you say,,England was a strong country before heath put us in the EU and we will rise once again and become stronger for our future Generations of England,

Why Eye Lass - I love you - You are so right - I was with others in various departments, teaching in the Hilger & Watts Training School when Heath abolished then training grants of £10 per week for every Craft Trainee, Apprentice and Student (Degree level) apprentices. Hilger naver had any strike at any of its 6 sites in over 125 years of History. That is all fact and I will not be challenged in it. We lost 25% of our weekly pay overnight.

That action Heath took then against all skilled trades Employers was the key to the Tory party's deliberate sabotage of our manufacturing base since and it was continued by Thatcher. No government since ever tried to restore it until the recent desperate introduction of Dumbed down shorter so called apprenticeships for cheap labour where the skill levels after training are far lower than those we taught.

Proof - Some of us were C&G and BTEC Exam Invigillators who knew the standards then and have seen the downgraded paperwork comparisons today.

Capricorn143: Interesting to see that it was the immigration that made you change your mind - well, to the Eastern Europeans it is the same - the weak west europeans have put this big burden of ME unintegrable military aged men onto us - it is better to be poor and stay who you are than accept ludicruous Merkel's ideas.

Hopefully there will be other referenda soon!

Ms. Merkel, will cause damage Europe than any of her previous countries dictators .

Hopefully so and hopefully we'll make it widely known that we love Europe even if we hate the EU. The fallout of Germany trying to control all of mainland Europe will not mean losing eastern Europe to Russia. History will not repeat.

I see a problem with subsidies.
The EU biggest cost is farming. quote wiki
"The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) is the agricultural policy of the European Union. It implements a system of agricultural subsidies and other programmes. It was introduced in 1962 and has undergone several changes since then to reduce the cost (from 71% of the EU budget in 1984 to 39% in 2013) and to also consider rural development in its aims.
It has been repeatedly criticised for its cost (€57.8 billion in 2014) and its environmental and humanitarian effects, including raising food prices and stalling development in poorer countries by preventing them from exporting food to the EU."
the bigger claimer is the Britts.

The reaction of the stockmarket is not evidence or a fact.
They are hysteria and emotional driven.

I do wonder how much was the impact of Merkel who said 'wir schaffen das'
For me that meant the end of Europe.
First she tried to rule Greece, then she told a lot of refugees to keep fleeing.
Now they made the Turks visa-free to try to stop the refugees.

I do wonder what England will do. a lot of illegals are there on the island, because of the no-identity-card-laws. Will they get thrown out finally?

Your views were based on your hatred of Islam. That's the difference.

I am afraid you still don't get it All, there is no hatred and it was clearly explained what the problem with the Islam is... dunno

As far as I know at least one of your parents should be British born so the child is British...
In this case you are British citizen of Cypriot origin...

"We" in the UK put ourselves in the EU, I for one did because it was a good idea and worked at that time. Sir Edward Heath the suspected child molester did not do that alone.
