I'm not tall,
I'm not wise,
I'm not fit,
But I won't cry.
I will fall,
I will rise,
I would quit,
But I won't die.

Rising mist, hides eerie mystery skims
Over ocean in darkness, till morning clings
Released by waking warmth, rising sun
Across blue summer sky, as sunrays run
Send darts that sparkle, explosions of light
Warming-dissolving, mist lifts taking flight
Leaving ripples blue-green, oceans gift
Emerald-turquoise, colour shimmer sifts
Broken by oceans waves, rushing shore
Crystal temptations of life, promise store
Stirring vibrations, roars from the sea
Listen for echo, confirming it's free
Musical rhythm, ocean creeps upon sand
Protected coastline, welcome on land
Mist will return, smother and hide
Illusion mystery, each tide rides
Changing visual, moments in time
Masking vision, for seeker of sign
Answers-reasons, hide or play
Atmosphere verses moods, unveiled by day.....

About this poem:
mist clings, giving eerie presence to a normal coastal scene of nature....as a mask worn to hide truth at a carnival or fancy dress ball....adds to mystery

Sleeping
not curing the haggled staid of war
Other Eyes open
Is it still
beating its drum
yes
of course
Awake
fight
for
the next
live
to
be aware
then
know your friends
your community

Be good to people

Having Asperger's spectrum! I often think deeply...
Have the courage to eliminate the negatives in your life so your positives have a chance to speak! To succeed your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure,
People think that I am so strong but I'm not as strong as you think I am. The truth is you just don't realise how close I am to completely falling apart..
When i am experiencing the worst pain i want to make others smile because its not nice to be sad,
I never know what strength i had until life began to test me,
It takes real strength for me to keep trying when the whole world expects me to fail.
As i am walking down this road of change, may i grow stronger, wiser, and more confident in the decisions i make i live my life for my future..

Rotating world, reminder that time
Heals deceit, as memories pine
Stars -moon, will shine once again
Sun wakes each morning, golden flame
Being aware, though others will not
Live in this world, with pain forgot
Every morning, starts a new day
All sadness, we learn to lay
Become experienced, move on
See kindness, not the wrongs
Though a little trust, will be lost
Called baggage, we pay the cost
No one ever, wipes slate clean
For a better world, we can dream
Those hurting us, hurt themselves
Guilty burden, being happy-true wealth
So throw away heartache, live again
The world's a mixture, of joy-pain
Learn ways forward, for you
A smile a start, to see you through

About this poem:
many have been hurt by others, and sadly we have to accept and move on, but if we can smile.....it will make us feel better inside...as well as out....and we can use poetry to vent and move on......

Different sizes, different print
Subjects vary, make you think
Far off places, stirring dreams
Adventure moments, life supreme
Childhood stories, letters learn
Pictures-rhymes, each page turns
Waking imagination, fired time
Child-to-adult, read each line
Subjects vary, will the gift
Information-pages, souls lift
Stretch boundaries, wonder behold
Fonts black, embossed titles in gold
Leather-bound-or-paperback, words give life
Story from thoughts, rolling dice
Change paragraph, conclusion awaits
Journey encountered, a story make
Whether ending, happy or sad
Hours of reading, make you glad
Life condensed travelled in head
Smiles of wonder, once read......

How far can I go in search of my dreams
How deep can I suffer in my soul for love,
How close can I get to the darkest place inside me,
How high can I fly to kiss the heavens above
What have I in my hand to catch a falling star,
What is it in my eyes to smile like the daring flowers,
What is in my heart to believe in the yet invisible destiny,
Except for the courage in my soul to dance like rain showers
So when someone asks me, if I have given up,
I tell them nothing but pass a smile as if saying,
There's nothing my Lord cannot provide when I ask,
Because bonding, love and trust between us is never decaying!

Surrounded by chatter, in a cocoon you stay
Voices pass you by, you've nothing to say
Subjects so varied, discussed one by one
In your own little world, is where you belong
I remember train rides, when in my teens
Travelling to work, past scenery unseen
Programmed to reaching, a station to leave
A carriage of commuters, to exit you weave
Hustle-bustle, towards London grew
Quietly reading a book, there were a few
As those by a window, could turn away
Ignoring the people, they saw each day
I do remember, when surrounded I felt
On the outside looking in, as if I could melt
Disappearing instantly, from physical form
Floating the atmosphere, from moments torn
Sometimes we're happy, alone with thought
Private-personal, imagination caught
Until the time, when ready to share
Special memories, with someone who cares
These people are rare, listen and know
That all have dreams, a place we go
When timing is right, to tell the world
Dreams and hopes, to be unfurled
Finding that person, who shares and cares
Harder than we imagine, becoming a pair
Can souls merge, share different dreams
Woven together, yet individually supreme
Will one over-rule, without a care
For the others needs, or do a pair
Have to share dreams, day by day
Surely this ensures, one dies day to day

Tears are like fears we keep them deep,
yet there is no shame for us to weep.
the tears of joy are a pleasure to all,
so may the tears of sorrow seldom fall...

Do you gaze through my soul
Searching inside a dark hole
Does my face frighten you, too
A reflection mirrored in my eyes
All you expect or all you despise
Can I drink from your cup of love
Taste on my lips blood from above
Past the sun and past the moon
Become alive we must meet soon
Or remain as ghosts on a foggy lake
Fading every night at day's break
Regrets mornings before new dawn
All that is right was all that was wrong
Without you I am lost and alone
Blind as the darkest night goes on
Safe only in my dreams so strong
What feels so right can't be wrong
