~Shadows in the dark~

Bird of paradise flying round and round
Rose colored glasses
Air's filled
Not a sound
as you wipe the drool away from your chin. Mockingbird tells the stories of naught, as Pegasus climbs, heights of unbound. White in the face of never look down, Macaw cracks the thought that keeps holding tight, Crow is in chatter in your mind there tonight, as you pull up the cover to stifle your ear, a mother's little helper will settle the thought, a script from the pad of paper you got, the wait was incredibly arduous for such...........

as them shadows appeared alone in the dark

Remember me as I have of you (dedicated to free hand)

Remember me as I have of you,
You have gone so far to find,
Love that was fleeing so soon,
running as fast away from you.

That's which you think you've lost,
Your lover gone hiding in the woods,
Your wings once felt my masculine touch,
my words that have stolen your heart!

Framed soft gleeful smile,
Kiss me and break the spell,
Loneliness in an empty well,
It's time for you to kiss and tell.

Goodbyes are difficult farewells,
But not from a place from hell,
Escaped from the trap you fell,
It's time for us to meet and greet Hello

Calliope

like jasmine scented scarlet
her lips and hair a lovers net
sparking light on the muse between us
tell I was tangled in her eyes

SECOND CHANCES

Suddenly at ease, able to accept
Time spent with like-minded, no regrets
Laugh at the same things, see and hear
So much in common, shines crystal clear

Time out of step, with those once met
Felt isolated, with exchanges we'd let
conversation flow, without-being involved
Not sharing-or-adding, silent-and-cold

Through transitions, adjustment is fine
Relaxed boundaries, life's merging lines
None can guide us, when time's right
Thoughts from past, now come for light

Timing differences, released thoughts
Join in flow, not past thoughts caught
Through life's journey, changes occur
Memories-dreams, confuse and stir

Until timing, slides neatly into place
To a time when a group, led the pace.
Plotting path, and if timings right
Life is comfortable, future bright

Once out of step, aimed to learn
Cross forgotten bridges, not destruct-burn
How many times, when timing's not right
Wary to try again, real life can bite.....

Pain can divide, maturity from youth
Experience holds back, waiting proof
We must be brave, to change a future
Or trust maturity, to be your tutor.....

PRESS..

Press, your emotion and mental thought.. Press, for every fear and hate you've fought.. Press, out darkness which consumes your being.. press, fill it with light to ensure further seeing.. Press, anger cleanse the soul.. Press, joy lack of it will never fill the void hole.. Press, forward positive thought.. Press, don't turn back evil fought.. Press, when the sun goes down revel in the stars.. Press, as a form of light embrace their radiance.. Press, phospherence shall light your path.. Press, on never turn dark turns to light.. Press, day shall dawn hate strike it down.. Press, joy let it rise emotion quell it's being and renew the day.. Press, sorrow pain guilt deception draw them away.. GIVE RISE TO A NEW DAY

THE PALE BLUE DOT

Look again ,at that pale blue dot.
That's here. that's home.
That’s the whole wide world.
That’s you
That’s me.
That's us..

On it lives everybody.
Every human who ever was.
Everyone you know, or ever heard of.
Everyone you have or will ever love

All joy and suffering,
All the big small ideas
All religions, ideologies,
Economic doctrines,
You will only ever find them right here.

Every hunter, forager,
hero or coward,
Every loser,
Every winner
Every honest or corrupt politician
Every saint,
every sinner
Every king, peasant,
Teacher of morals,
Creator or destroyer.
Every mother, father, or hope filled child,
Every Inventor
Every explorer,
Every superstar, supreme leader,
Every hope,
Every dream
Happened here. On a mote of dust,
Suspended in a sunbeam

In this vast cosmic arena
Think of the wars that we wage
No matter how important we think them
Our dot is a very small stage
Think of all generals and emperors
the rivers of blood they spilled
So that in glory and their triumph,
They could extend their will
Once their battles were over
look at what they had got
They’d became the momentary masters
of a fraction of a dot
Think of the endless cruelties
we visit on each other
how fervent our hatreds, how eagerly we kill
our sisters and our brothers
inhabitants of one corner of this pale blue dot
scarcely distinguishable from inhabitants on another
how frequent our misunderstandings are,
So we make war on one another

The thoughts of universal privileged position .
the delusion that only we are right
all our posturings, our imagined self-importance,
are challenged by this pale point of blue light.

This Dot is the only world we know of .
There is no, where else,
That anywhere in the near future,
to which we all could migrate.
There are other Dots we can Visit
Travellers with us in space
Visit, yes. But not Settle,
So for now this dot is our place.

It has been said that astronomy is a humbling
And the truth of this has been unfurled
There no better demonstration of human conceits
than this distant image of our tiny blue world.

About this poem:
I have used Carl Sagan's Pale Blue dot speech as Inspiration,

Carl's inspiration was ""....an image taken, at Sagan's suggestion, by Voyager 1 on February 14, 1990. As the spacecraft left our planetary neighborhood for the fringes of the solar system, engineers turned it around for one last look at its home planet. Voyager 1 was about 6.4 billion kilometers (4 billion miles) away, and approximately 32 degrees above the ecliptic plane, when it captured this portrait of our world. Caught in the center of scattered light rays (a result of taking the picture so close to the Sun), Earth appears as a tiny point of light, a crescent only 0.12 pixel in size."" ,
where ever possible I have used his words and shuffled them a bit and added a line here and there , to make the whole thing scan a bit better as a poem. I have taken a few liberties in places , but I acknowledge that freely,
So I dedicate this Poem to the memory of the Late great Carl Sagan

* * *

And Muse lost her sight and went deaf,
And rotted in earth same as grain,
So that she like Phoenix from ashes
Should rise in blue ether one day.

THE FUTURE

IT CAN BE FOREVER IF YOU WANT IT TO BE; FOR I HAVE DISCOVERED HERBALS; THAT FROM THE INSIDE OUT WILL REVERSE AGEING AND MAKE YOU YOUNG AND FREE!I"VE CONTACTED DONALD TRUMP BUT HE NEVER GOT BACK TO ME; IN SPITE OF HIS BILLIONS; HIS INSIDES ARE AGEING; AND HIS HORMONES HAVE LONG AGO STOPPED RAGING! IF THE RIGHT PEOPLE HEAR ME; THE NEW AGE SHALL BEGIN; THEN YOU WILL HAVE AN UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF YEARS! I HAVE CONTACTED OBAMA, HUGH HEFNER, AND OPRAH; SHE CHOSE TO TURN THE OTHER CHEEK BY SAYING; WHO IS THIS NOBODY TO RISE ABOVE HARVARD SCIENTISTS, AND EMERGE FROM THE VERY MEEK? NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION; I CAN SAFELY SAY THAT EVERLASTING YOUTH, CAME TO ME THROUGH DIVINE INTERVENTION!

Presence

For that millisecond
Between inspiration and expiration
Between past and future
Between unknowing and knowing
Universes formed and dissolved
Empires rose and fell
Weight waited
Matter mattered and mattered not
And I was peace itself
For that millisecond
I was in the presence of angels
