A burn't out old lover I
Though I've still a spark of chemistry.
I'm still able but lack the will
Disillusioned and lonely still.
At least my poetry isn't fake
Although I may be an old rake.
Many women I have known
Through a heart that I've not shown.
For every girl, at night to dream of her
Although I may be an old deceiver.
I'll chart each love - define each girl
Describe each freckle, and hair that curls.
Thus I'll be going for quite a while
The variety of my lover's wiles.
Each time and place and circumstance
Ev'ry occasion of love's sweet dance.
If I write enough then just maybe
One day they will have to pay me.
Meanwhile, here I'll write for you -
CS poets, and for others too.
I hold dogs and horses in high esteem
(And as they say, it's free to dream).
A lover who respects a woman -
Nowadays not all that common.
A lot of my life has been sad
And like most poets, I'm half mad.
Harmless though, and still quite sexy
I think most women are lovely ladies.
Lately, now I have stopped drinking
(This must be good for love I'm thinking).
And I must write - something to do
To entertain both me and you.
I have a depth inside my soul
That few can touch and none can hold.
Although it is a long shot maybe
I may just change for the right lady.
And I will be meticulous -
(Luckily I've kept a list).
Hopefully, I will find bliss
Now that I am off the piss.
It is so hard to stay sober -
Every day's a battle over.
I stay alive to write for you
This (my muse) is my lover too.
So there you have it -- my sixty'th poem
You can't say that I haven't known 'em.
I must sign out now - lovecanbereal -
In poetry, I'm the "real deal".

EVERY MORNING IS A NEW MORNING
and EVERYDAY IS A NEW DAY
and EVERY NIGHT IS A NEW NIGHT
BUT STILL
I WISH I COULD LOVE MORE
AND EVERY ROSE IS A NEW ROSE
and EVERY FULL MOON IS A NEW MOON
and EVERY SKY IS A NEW SKY
BUT STILL
I WISH I COULD RISK MORE
AND EVERY HEARTBEAT IS A NEW HEARTBEAT
and EVERY BREATH IS A NEW BREATH
and EVERY SMILE IS A NEW SMILE
BUT STILL
I WISH THAT I COULD BE MORE

About this poem:
Blowing through heaven and earth, and in our hearts and the heart of every living thing, is a gigantic breath—a great Cry—which we call God. Plant life wished to continue its motionless sleep next to stagnant water, but the Cry leaped up within it and violently shook its roots: “Away, let go of the earth, walk!” Had the tree been able to think and judge, it would have cried, “I don’t want to. What are you urging me to do! You are demanding the impossible! But the Cry, without pity, kept shaking its roots and shouting, “Away, let go of the earth, walk!”
Animals appeared--worms--making themselves at home in water and mud. "We're just fine here," they said... But the terrible Cry hammered itself pitilessly into their loins. "Leave the mud, stand up, give birth to your betters!"... And lo! after thousands of eons, man emerged, trembling on his still unsolid legs... He has been fighting, again for thousands of eons, to draw himself, like a sword, out of his animalistic scabbard. He is also fighting--this is his new struggle--to draw himself out of his human scabbard. Man calls in despair, "Where can I go? I have reached the pinnacle, beyond is the abyss." And the Cry answers, "I am beyond. Stand up!"

Shine expelled from leaves of green
Once drenched in rain, gives sheen
Twinkle lights, as sun reflects
Clouds close rank, again to check
Changes of attitude, by weather
Heavy rainfall, once tethered
Coats a scene, dull and grey
Until sun tries, just cannot stay
As better weather takes hold
From morbid dark, light turns bold
Changes in climate, must stabilize
As sequence, anticipations rise
Struggle between, fair-fine-bad
Adds to emotions, led by real sad
As hope lies in wait, for a sun to shine
Spirits explode, until soon they'll shine

Our days quickly passing by
To slow the aging process, we usually try
Regardless, they go so fast
Our final destination, they cast
Reminding us of the memories of our past
Telling us that all we have is today
We must exert every possible effort to enjoy
About the future nothing we can do or say
It is unpredictable in every way
All we have is hope for a better tomorrow
Without regrets or sorrow
Those are the real fact of life
To enjoy our days, we must strive
Seize every opportunity to help someone
Without realizing it, they here today but tomorrow they are gone

Time after time
you forgave me..
You kept pulling me
out of the pit..
I was lost in my soul..
my reason was gone..
But every time you loved
me back to life..
And again..I fell..
How long will you continue
to strive with me?
I think I know..
Until I'm like you..then
I will know true love~

Somewhere in the midst
of flesh and bone..
Somewhere in the midst
of blood sweat and tears
Between all that is
Or can be..exist the
unsearchable spirit of
life
Like a young eagle under
the safty of its mothers
wing, I am sustained within
the ever changing folds of
time and space
If by some foolish endeavour
I stray beyond the reach of
my soul I am pulled back into
the fold by the spark of some
immutable truth
At such times I can almost hear
a fatherly whisper saying..
'You are not your own..'
That all I can be trancends my
childlike mortal dreams..
And somewhere in the midst
is a burning love
A purity..
Perhaps lost in the dreams of
children
A sacred heart vailed for a
moment so as not to burn til
the day star arises in our
hearts
Somewhere in time the truth
will take every thought captive
though such things are to great
for me to imagine, yet..
Somehow I'll know~

Dreams come from the eyes of the dreamer,
break free from your box and see a world you never known.
Wind blows through the tree, water drips from the leaves,
the fire lights up the night, and the stars carry our dreams.
A true wonder of the universe that lives in all,
open your eyes of the greatness of this world unknown
The grass is the color green, rivers flow into gentle streams,
the ocean vastly endless, and the waves carry our dreams.
There is a world unseen by the waking eyes,
you must open your mind embrace the dreams inside you.
Find the peace that is there, a light that we all can share,
darkness is not welcome, if you let the wings lift you in the air.
So break free from you box, your shallow thoughts. Embrace this world you never knew, sail on the clouds of illumination. Broaden your mind, fill your soul with the light the beams
and remember to never be afraid to dream

To forgive, whatever pain caused
Coping difficult, and so life paused
All need moments, to take our time
Wait for healing, seeking signs
Only when the time is right
Ready to live again in sight
We accept that healing needs
True compassion, sowing seeds
That flourish and grow, so strong
With inner peace, righting wrongs
Moving forward, horizons clear
Smiles replace, a rain of tears
Painful hurt, from many forms
Until moment, as breaking dawn
Shines forgiveness, through a soul
Life can continue, again as whole

If everything turns round and round in circle,
Then I’ll be back for sure, without fail.
But will there be another me or blizzard,
Or shall I spill as light and scattered rain,
Or shall I come and burst as pretty rose bud
That grew in wood above some trickling spring?
No... it's an awful lot to rise again as blossom,
As whiff and puff, and breath of gentle breeze ...
If everything turns round and round in circle,
And if I'm back again to follow earthly way,
Then only in the arms of dearest loved one
Shall I agree to breathe in life again.
