Like a worm I let you into my heart
A heart so fresh, so ripe, unblemished
Knowing all of of this from the start
You fed on me for your love so famished
Tunneling down into my deepest core
all around and in and back out again
crisscrossing even through all you bore
paths of destruction for only when
To realise after too late for defense
and never should have invited you in
my heart was fooled with playful pretense
and how must I suffer the consequence?
Now I hang withering on the tree of life
Dark scabs cover me all over my skin
and anywhere you peel me back with a knife
So many dark traces where you've been

Nobody likes to bite into a rotten apple. A lesson about unfruitful love.

You said you
loved me for
our trust
But after all
it was really
lust
As I think
back on those
crazy years
I was truly
fooled by your
lying tears
At first I
thought your
heart was true
But you proved
me wrong by
what you do
You sang so
beautifully
in church
today
But completely
ignored me
along the way
When I thought
you were being
a loving wife
Your other man
was bigger
than life
Yes our children
have grown with
kids of their own
But thanks to
you they never
phone
My job is
in jeopardy
The house is
a wreck
The lawyers are
fighting for
my last check
The dog ran
off and bit
a cop
Bit him twice
then got shot
I've nothing
left but this
old car
But you wrecked
it good at the
local bar
Yes,'She loves
him
She loves him
not'
She whispered
with a smile
while digging
my plot
She always told
me,'She'd love
me to death'
No truer words
spoken..
As they laid
me to rest..

Loneliness was my companion
Agreeable pals we were yesterday
Recently someone walked in my life
Rescued! That was my first impression
Yet he only lasted a day
Moments actually: leaving wound that needed no knife
Only he never understand what he took
Once was enough. My world he shook.
Sealing a further bond with my Lonely friend
Even I don't understand what really happened.

I know you won't come back
verything that was .Time has left is behind
I know that you won't return
What happened between us?
Will never be repeated
Even when a thousand years pass
It won't be enough to fade you away and to forget.
And now I'm here
Trying to turn valleys into cities
Mixing the sky with the sea.
I know I let you escape,
I know I lost you
Nothing can be the same;
A millennium could be enough for you to forgive
I'm here, loving you
Suffocating, in photographs and scrapbooks,
In objects and mementos
Can't comprehend
I am driving myself mad
Changing a foot for My own face
The letters I wrote,
I never sent
It's all the matter of time and faith
A millennium with another thousand years...
Are enough to love?
If you still think something of me...
You know I'm still waiting for you...

she weeps as she pulls from the curb
not knowing what to do or say
he picks up his bag, turns and retreats
past the automatic doors that opened
into her life and her world
he imagines her gentle sadness
as she weaves her way back to
what she has come to know
of the world that gifted itself to
her and the gentle canine whines
that await the returns of the day
a tug to the mudded green later
as dusk falls on the times shared
tomorrow she will diligently return
her spirit to her lights task
but today brings a hole to hollow
as she soulfully gazes at it's depth

Two minutes .. And you were gone
No Time left ..To Dial the Telephone
To Call for Help Or To Tell Someone
Between my hands I saw your soul
Daddy .. You're still in my heart
From the day you carried me
Till The day we went apart
No Matter How far away
In My heart there you stay
Daddy .. It's been a while
And I miss you each and everyday
In The end Im your Child
And I only need you to hold me tight
No Matter Where I go
And What I do
Daddy .. You'll always be my hero

With child like
Innocence, his brush
Stroked the canvass,
Leaving colors that one
Would have thought was
Childlike.
Each stroke, each sweep,
Destined to leave a mark,
When combined, undressed,
Revealing his soul, to
Be scrutinized, mocked,
Ridiculed.
Through this turmoil,
He persisted, from
Canvass to canvass,
Countless paintings,
Countless images, each
Baring his soul, in a
Different light.
He toiled, he struggled,
He labored, he loved.
So deeply he loved,
He severed an ear.
Passion abound in this
Obsessed mind, never ceasing,
Never wavering, continuously
Pounding inside his temples.
To be released by the discharge
Of a gun.
Questions left by death of
This disturbed genius;
will remain unanswered forever.
Was it his creativity,
Was it the love of a woman,
That led to that fateful discharge?
We will never know.
Sleep well in your eternal bed,
Allow slumber to be your comforting
Arms.

About this poem:
Don McClain said it so much better. Starry Starry Night, still brings a tear, thirty some years after I had the pleasure of hearing him perform it, before it was recorded.

when day becomes night
and there seems nothing left to say
how can you look at me
and then just turn away
don't i deserve an answer
to the questions in my mind
please just search your heart
and tell me what you find
then that will be my answer
and i will not be uncertain
whether or not
this is the final curtain

As we walk through the vanishing love
The road to our journey will be closed
As we follow the random paths
The labyrinth love will lead our way
The truth and lies become one
Never know when it is a lie
Never know when it is the truth
No more words left to say
No more love left to share
You might not find me anywhere
I might not find you anywhere
As the end of the world is close by

I sing alone , tryin' to comfert my pain
wanna forget your memory
In the darkest Shadow
Can't see you in my way
And I walk and walk till im gone
Can't find a light or a thing to say
But I hear That .. Hello
I don't wanna turn back right now
I might see who broke my heart
That Voice that i know from million years
Deap inside me im cryin' out my tears
The one who said it all and disappeared
The one that said without me
he's not complete
But You see ..with you Im incomplete
How can I when im losin' what i beleive
And I don't wanna turn back right now
