Will you not come for me?

Have you been in love?
Have you shared a kiss?
Have you ever got a hug?
Have you ever gone thru all of this?

I have not, nor ever been.
I have lost time and miss,
I have bitterness inside of me,
I have nothing and noone to be with!

A lonely heart is like being sick
A lonely man is a walking dead
A lonely soul is trying hard to reach
A lonely friend is asking your help

Will you not open your heart for me?
Will you not give me your tender touch?
Will you not kiss and make me happy?
Will you not love freely and come to me?

About this poem:
this is my deepest yearning
for many years
for some one,any one
to share love, passion and the bliss

I am still waiting. . .
I am still trying. . .
I am still single. . .
I am still lonely. . .

Come to me
is all I need
to let me be
a real human being

No one will call me tonight!

No one will call me tonight,
No one will ask how I am,
Wind will ahead clouds rush,
Sun in tree leaves will take rest.
No one will call me tonight,
No one will ask how I am,
Love will bring tears to your eyes,
Eyes with your tears will be wet.
Thinking of you’ll make him laugh,
Mirror’ll reflect joyous smile,
While for me - no sleep, no respite,
No one will call me tonight.
Mulberry tree will bend down,
Level its leaves with the ground.
Sun with its roam will be tired
Leaving the day far behind.
Wind will ahead clouds rush,
Sun in tree leaves will take rest,
No one will call me tonight,
No one will ask how I am.
Wind will ahead clouds rush,
Sun in tree leaves will take rest.

Love's Labour's Lost

I had matured,
Like a fine red,
Amidst the vinegar pleasures,
Of the flesh.
I found my voice.
And entered the kingdom,
Of contentment,
But it was a place,
Formed by temporary alliance,
The senses ruled,
And the imagination heightened,
It produced such ecstasy.
I wanted it like an obsessive fool,
It had to last,
But there looking at me,
With Medusa eyes,
Was the cold hillside.
You are mortal,
Elysium is not for you,
And love was lost,
In that fleeting moment,
Taken from my grasp,
By another’s reality.

Poem for Megan

For seven years I've longed for your love,
That's deep and blue as the ocean's bliss -
As winged she flies - a lonely dove -
Through the storm's eye in search of your kiss;-
No longer I'll watch the empty cove,
And dying waves that beg for a tryst -
For times tide has washed away
Each lonely year and empty day.

Till what we have now - a ghost of the past-
Though it still proves that we can hold
A sweet memory that will always last
Against these years a love untold.
I give the spring flowers a final blast -
To thaw the ice of my heart so cold;-
But the loneliness grows - a velveteen moss -
To patina the years that we both have lost.

Still my soul's tempest will not subside
An hour with you and I'd feel whole again
Loneliness drowns in the ebb of your tide
When love's quick fire burns in my veins; -
From my heart's longing I never can hide-
Though the years apart have bound us like chains;-
Where once we loved with hearts that were true -
Now loves faded rose cannot bloom anew.

Hurts

Our love was good our love was strong,
but for some reason you thought it was wrong.
You broke my heart you set me free,
but there is something that you just don't see,
these things are feelings & these feelings hurt,
they hurt because you are not there anymore.

MEDITATION

Forgive they say.
Make a better day
for yourself.

Breath in for four.
Out for six.
You'll be fixed.

But now he
is part of me.
My history.

Forgive to heal?
Forget the pain?
Are you insane?

Lucky to be
still alive.
Survived.

Hurt heart.
Bruised soul.
Please hold.

About this poem:
To forgive is human, to forget is not divine.
It is asking a bit too much.

The snake and the Alabaster bowl

His hands slid over her curves
She was slippery with extra virgin olive oil.
Was it a tub full? No!
It was but a round, large alabaster bowl,
That cupped all that was capable
But .
He moved closer to her lips
but they were not there and he slipped on
her knee.
And broke her jaw on the alabaster bowl.
The asp slithered in and bit them both
They died in olive oil ecstasy.
The snake was found dead in the am He could
Not climb out of the alabaster bowl.
And all was as it should be.

Below Zero

I didn't care
if they fondled him at parties,
eased him in at home
between a husband & a child,
sucked him dry
with vacuum cleaner kisses.

It was the coldness that I minded,
though he'd warned me.

"I'm cold." He said
(as if that helped any).
But he was colder
than he thought he was.

Cold sex.
A woman has to die
& be exhumed
three times a week
to know the meaning of it.

His hips are razors,
his pelvic bones are knives,
even his elbows could cut butter.

Cold flows from his mouth
like a cloud of carbon dioxide
which turns to smoke.
His face hangs over my face-

One of these days
he'll shatter
or
he'll melt.

Don't Stop Doing Things

My day is filled with thoughts of you
The longing that burns deep within
My heart, my whole being too, just for you
The passion that's built up, can't contain
To love you, touch you, your voice to listen to
The joy in my heart waiting, always multiplied by
Tender moments shared, garnished with tender love

Should I write, will you find time to read
Should I talk, will you listen and take my lead
Should I cry, will you gently wipe my tears
Should I be scared, will you know my fears
Should I be silent, will you read my mind
Should I demand, will you say no or go find
Should I change, will you wonder why
Should I sigh, will you feel weighed down
Should I? Or shouldn't I? Please tell me dear!

We've walked the walk and talked the talk
All avenues tried; hear me, I'm reaching out
To you, love of my life, my one and all
My love for you I long to keep burning bright
Is this a longing you too share in your heart?
Hear me that safely I may settle before
My longings get blown away by the fierce,
Relentless storm bringing havoc within!

Below is #2 of the "16 Ways I Blew My Marriage" written by the author of the blog Single Dad Laughing. Though written by a man twice divorced, it applies to women as well. So ladies and gentlemen of Poet Corner if you haven't come across it yet, do check the rest of the 16 .. .it's actually a list of 31 Ways to screw your Marriage. Take the time to read then tell me if it is not worth your time. So here is number 2:

2. DON’T STOP TRYING TO BE ATTRACTIVE.
Obviously when I was working to woo her, I would do myself up as attractively as I possibly could every time I saw her. I kept perfectly groomed. I always smelled good. I held in my farts
until she wasn’t around. For some reason, marriage made me feel like I could stop doing all that. I would get all properly groomed, smelling good, and dressed up any time we went out somewhere or I went out by myself, but I rarely, if ever, cared about making myself attractive just for her.

IF I COULD HAVE A DO-OVER: I’d try and put my best foot forward throughout our entire marriage. I’d wait to fart until I was in the bathroom whenever possible. I’d make myself desirable so that she would desire me.

BONUS! when you trim your man hair, guess what.
She returns the favor.

About this poem:
Inspired by a new migrant friend...a simple, loving, loyal wife and mother of two who feels lost and at a crossroad/dead end due to communication breakdown with her partner. She feels not being taken seriously anymore.

I believe many can relate to her story hence I wrote this for her and for all the other women and men out there who might be feeling the same way.

cheese monster

I remember
dancing for joy
Sitting on an open shelf
This beautiful maiden
Strolls into the shop
As my eyes whistled
She picked me up

Holding me in her hands
Smiling down at me
Excited
Oh I love
Words had trembling effect
with this cheese

Taking me home
You took a little bite
tasting sweet lips
Nibbling
Out of me
Lips softly grin
bursting flavour
Almost cheesy
Licking delicious

Opening a door
You placed me
on top shelf
Felt like royalty
Lights out wow

The last face
I remembered
Ever so beautiful
Weeks pass
Feeling almost
out of date
Left in the dark

A smell started
in fungus hair
Taking over
almost septic
Crawling green
in mildew

Beautiful maiden
Awaiting you in dreams
You open the door
Squealing out
Monsters
in the fridge

All I done
was shout cheese
Smile darling
I am
all yours
Sweet love

Thrown in a bag
Broken hearted
with the rubbish
Shouting
That's me done
With cheese

It was so sad
The green hairy
old monster
Began crying
Now smile
for cheese

As you will not like
To see the ugly side
Of the green
hairy old
Cheese monster
