Red tears of Dawn
Pillows soaked in
midnight pain
The grandfather clock
ticks louder and
louder
Restless squirming on
lonely sheets
No one can hear this
heart scream
Why? Why? Why?
I gave it all
I've been poured out
to the last drop
I'm numb to my very
soul
Only death can kill
this pain
Life has been burned
out of me and I will
never be the same
What was meant to be
wholeness has turned
into a morgue
Oh, soul, rest in peace
for I dare not wake to
the red tears of dawn~

Not about me per say..Just exploring emotions..
Response To KickIt's Challenge July 2, 2012
First two lines are the challenge and we pick up from there. Here's mine;
"A thousand steps
Walking a crooked fence"
A thousand more
in past and present tense
I think of you
Our life and your sweet face
Burned in my mind
There in the steps I retrace
This pain inside
Haunts me, asleep, awake
Further away
With each long stride I take
How can I prove
the depths of this true heart
If you go now
If indeed you depart
Fade not from me
Turn, look into my eyes
I still see you
I hear our endless sighs
Might silent prayers
Spoken with all my might
Guide your steps back
Into my arms this night

Yesterday was so dark , That I couldn't see your face
Lights hittin' on your body , while your dancing with her
And I cry for being lonely , But Tryin' to act okay
But then What would I do more , then feeling this pain
You've left your place so quickly
Without a notice
You've tried to warn me up
With empty words
In the End , you've left me Broken hearted
And You've left your poison inside
Im not asking you to come back
But why you've left a Vacancy In My Heart

Ashes
I burnt your heart
I burnt your soul
burnt your carpet
and I burnt your floor...
But if I loved you any less...
Maybe then could I bring you happiness...
Or am I destined to only bring you pain...
And fill your heart with only rain..
.
If I built your house back up from the ground..
Then could I bring your heart around?
If I lie down and burnt with the ashes too..
Maybe then would you love me too?

Love can be so many things
starts when hearts find their wings
with every touch and every kiss
a bond is made you can’t dismiss
smile upon her lovely face
grows when ever you embrace
with every little moment filled
a happy soul is soon instilled
kiss so gentle, full of passion
and then gone without compassion
ends as quickly as begun
with ties that now are all undone
a heart that withers but does not die
tear in your eyes will soon be dry

My first attempt at acrostic so any advise will be greatly appreciated.
To Sleep....Perchance To Dream.....
This train left the depot in March ‘58,
Travelling extensively, trying not to be late.
Many destinations have I sought,
Ducking and diving, trying not to be caught,
Arrived at little known places on the way,
Dawdling there a little, deciding to stay,
Loved and lost,
Borne the cost,
And, with heart wracked with pain,
Re-boarded my train,
Loaded the coal, got up the steam,
Once more….
To sleep, perchance to dream….
To travel on….To love again…
Travelling extensively, trying not to be late.
Many destinations have I sought,

I'm Not Enough
I'm not enough
for you to want me.
I’m not enough
just a voice without
a face to see.
Just a voice
to soothe you
when distraught.
Just a voice
with no purpose
other than an
afterthought.
How can I
remain as if;
a frozen heart
in your snow drift?
Guess it's not
meant to be.
Need a real man
to love me.
To be touched,
and held close
each night.
Lucky me
will one day
find Mr. Right.

Moving on.
Only when it rains
Raindrops in my eyes
Teardrops from the skies
I'm so confused since you walked on by
I only go out when it's raining
To hide the teardrops from the skies
They blend with raindrops from my eyes
And both drain out of sight
Much like your feelings that night
Concealing the emptiness within
Where you used to have been
Without comment or plea
You sealed my destiny
Hiding my pain in the rain
And my heart's sighing refrain
They are only raindrops from above
That drain from my brow
And seep to my eyelashes and eyelids somehow
Now that you're gone it seems to rain everyday
Must be summer showers causes it's a sunny day
I only go out when it's raining

Love hurts....woh...woh...So far away..
Subtle memories.. distant hues..
My thoughts like pages in a book always returning to you,
Distant memories,so near,yet so far,
In dreams, etching far away, elusive stars..
Weeping sad melodies of days since past..
Long hot nights we sought to find,
A love like this..sealed solemnly with a lingering kiss,
But alas,never enough to strengthen ties we sought to bind.
A love we shared,as yours and mine
Surely there will never be..
For there can only be one in one's lifetime,
Daunts our way along love's beach of eternity.
The sudden flash of the lightening storm may
portray quite the magical show..
But tis nothing in comparison..
To the love that we will, never know.
