No sweetness

No sweetness,
No sugar,
No honey,
No bunny,
No bonnie,
Nobody to love on me,
The world looks ugly,
All the colors drab and runny,
Can't remember the last time
anything was really funny,
The last time I truly laughed,
All of me here,
Missing my other half,
Wishing I could go back,
I close my eyes,
Remember a time,
When I was all hers,
And she was all mine....

joker

Musical words
A piper fish
Begins playing
One sorrowful tune
In the ocean
Deep laments
From wasted time
years lost

Winds begin howling
Carrying pain
Within hurt
Lips speaking
Without motion
Past nightmares
Silent madness
In darkness screeching

Trees bent back
Looking to the sky
We each shuffle
Our own deck
Of cards
Held to
one's chest
A chant
In lost winds

A soul cries
From within deep
churning feelings
whistling out
Just got beaten down
By one joker

Clouds rush across
The moon's face
Falling in tears
To the ground
Played a cheat
In a foolish game
Of dirty tricks

no title

My days where long and dreary,Everything was painted blue. Not a sound was even cheery and discouragement within me grew. With you by my side I cannot fail. My love had lied until the moon showed pale. My heart was pierced by cupids bow,Which quickly sweetend each beat and now I love you so.

Predator

My darling, wolf in sheep's clothing
If only I had known
That a face so magnificent
Housed a heart of stone

I should've noticed the venom in your kiss
But I was foolishly lost in love, in all it's bliss
When I finally did realize, it was already too late
You already had my soul
You had utter control

I remember your malicious gaze
Marring your pretty face
As you told me "Well, you weren't even worth the chase."
And I remember my heart silently shattering into millions of shards
Not once had I ever thought that this would be in my cards

I remember your words distinctly: "I was the predator and you were the prey"
It plays over and over again in my head like a film reel
Yet in all this hurt, I formed a heart of titanium and steel

My darling, wolf in sheep's clothing
You will never see me cry
The truth is, when push turned to shove, I got over you in the blink of an eye
So keep claiming to be this wonderful "predator"
In the end, I am still going to be The Discreditor

Only faded memories remain

have you ever ..... cried alone at night ???

Have you ever .....
cried alone at night ???
It is so horrible ...

you broke my heart,
Faking who you were,
But I blame myself for trying..
I blame myself for everything
Even though you aren't here,
I still miss you so..

I think of you constantly,
For some reason I can't stop...
it hurt so bad ..
makes me cry ....
My heart is in pieces you see
Now aren't you proud?
Well you should be!!!
Because
You can still make me cry..!

All that I want from you is smile

Oh, do I really want too much?
Tell, did for more I ever ask?
All that I want from you is smile,
All that I want from you is smile,
Tell, is it much, too much to ask?

I know my hair is showing white,
I know old age will soon arrive,
All that I want from you is smile,
All that I want from you is smile,
Tell, is it much, too much to ask?

It’s only you to me that's left,
Heart's aching for you’re far away,
It is torment, but there's no other way.
Know not from where my longing comes,
Know not why thirst for you is such.
Tell, what is it you want with me?
What is the wrong to you I've done?
Tell, what is it you want with me?
What is the wrong to you I've done?

Oh, do I really want too much?

Inspired Folly

There were those moments with you,
When I felt so totally at one,
Relaxed in the universe of your smell,
And touch and taste.
I was inside you,
Your mind, your body, your soul.
Two people could never be closer,
I could read your thoughts.
You seemed to enjoy it too,
But I guess it was the attention you enjoyed,
The fawning,
The spasms of lust,
The knowledge and control,
That you were still a woman,
With femininity,
To be desired.
It was all very ephemeral I knew,
You had notions of a God,
And a doctrine of answers,
And an intransigence of will,
And an ordered pattern,
That could not be interrupted,
Or compromised.
Sooner or later it would reassert itself.
And as much as I pleaded,
And was overwhelmed by emotion,
And wanted to believe...
It was always going to be futile,
For the plaything had lost its shine,
The power of attraction was gone.
There was no point in cajoling,
No point in words,
The uncompromising mistakes of the past,
The entrenched perceptions,
Of self were gathering like storm clouds,
The signs were there,
No point in fighting nature.
I was betrayed and cast adrift,
Perhaps at the right time,
For the water was as shallow as you,
And this was never a proper relationship,
A cat toying with a piece of string,
With a glanced hollow smile.
Farewell my dear,
It was not for the want of trying,
I could not fight your demons,
Or believe in your god.
Although we can imagine flying like a bird,
No matter how hard we flap our arms,
We will always remain grounded,
We can stretch out and touch,
But we walk in our own dust.

About this poem:
The title is based on Professor Higgins quote in "Pygmalion". "What is life but a series of inspired follies." From my experience...too true.

Star in the sky

If I could be a star in the sky
I promise to you
Much delight
I would kiss you every night
Under the stars shinning light
Let you know everything is alright
Your safe now ,no more pain
We could walk down memory lane
With no one to blame
My love for you is still the same
It would be worth every second
Just to see those blue eyes
This time there would be no lies
No more tears coming from our eyes
If I could only be a star in the sky

missing you

Strong winds are blowing
Tears streaming down my face
Smiling feels no taste
Trying to survive life
in a different place
Knowing no other could take your place
my heart has an empty space
Life isn't a race
you left in such a haste
As I sit in this empty place
I must accept
God blessed you with his grace
