A Grumpy Fish

Like a grumpy fish
Fanning my fins slowly
Going nowhere in my tank
Nose pressed against glass
In water that never swirls
Except to stir the gravel
Suck out my wasted life
Are you happy now?
My watery cage is clean
Why don’t you set me free?
You with your disgusting
Bulging blue eyes and shiny teeth
Stop looking at me
Annoying taps on my wall
Of my artificial world
Is it night now?
Watched under a neon light
While you rest and smile
I want to bite you

My dream woman..

When I first saw your radient
smile my heart melted like
butter
But you had a boyfriend then
and he was your only lover
Your brunette hair sculpted
down your cheek..you seemed
a princess to me
But to hold you in passions
embrace was never meant to be
The months rolled on and I
watched you walk from your
car to your house
I lay in bed with a terrible
dread but grieved like a lonely
mouse
You found another abuser though
good looking he was
Oh, how the pain ripped me night
and day as I dreamed of your
sweet love
In the mornings you'd smile and
wave as I drove off to work
Yet my broken heart took years
to heal knowing you actually
married that jerk~

If it is hard for you to say “Love”

.
If it is hard for you to say “Love”.
Then, keep it.
.
If it is hard for you to say “Love” in front of me.
Then, keep it.
Never let me know.
.
If it is hard for you to say “Love” to someone like me.
Then, keep it.
Never let me know.
.
And please just …
.
Release my hands,
Free my heart,
And let me go.

About this poem:
^_^ I wrote this poem last year when I didn't understand why it's so hard for someone or some people to say, "Love". It's funny and doesn't clearly make sense to me.

^_* I'm straight, I love I say 'Love', I hate I say 'Hate' but: however, I suggest you to say 'Love' if you love, but keep it inside your heart when you 'NOT love' someone. ^__^ This is for World-Peeeeeeace)))))) lol

I MAY NOT COME HERE OFTEN SO I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR TAKING TIME TO PEEK ON MY POEM IN ADVANCE. LOL ^___^ THANK YOU VERY VERY VERY MUCH ) ) ) FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HAPPY HEART.

Just yesterday…

Just yesterday, we were soaring like eagles,
Today, we lie dazed on the ground, a shaft through our hearts.
Just yesterday, the world looked so bright and beautiful,
Today, a drab greyness shrouds our hearts.

Just yesterday, we held hands so meaningfully,
Today, we sit across the table from each other, two strangers with nothing to say.
Just yesterday, we looked in each other’s eyes and saw paradise,
Today, our eyes reflect vapidity, blandness and hollowness.

Just yesterday, our smiles turned winters into sparkling springs,
Today, the smiles have been replaced by tears of despair.
Just yesterday, our lips trembled with new-born passion,
Today, they are blue, lifeless and lonely.

Just yesterday, our voices were as melodious as the sound of a gentle brook,
Today, they are raspy and parched and cracked and dry as a desert bed.
Just yesterday, we respected each other, like the knights of the round table,
Today, our names are dreaded whispers, dragging us down to the abyss.

Just yesterday, the thought of each other nourished our souls,
Today, the thoughts are harbingers of pure unadulterated pain.
Just yesterday, I was alive,
Today, I’m dead.
How are you, my once-sweet and darling lover-friend?

Lilly Gone

You had a chance to to be a Lilly
Yet you choose to be a weed
And you wonder why
Yes you wonder why
It so hard for you to breathe

You had a chance to feel the sun
Yet you stay hidden in the shade
And you ask yourself
Yes you ask your self
Why your always so afraid

You surround yourself with bushes
That hide you from the sun
They tell you that its for the best
And for now your having fun

But who will be your water
When the drought sets in again
And who will be your shelter
When your beaten by the wind

Who will warm your tattered leaves
When the shadows swallow you
And who will be your company
When there's nothing you can do

Who will care to trim your stem
Who will plant your seed
You had a chance to be a Lilly
But you chose to be a weed

Once Upon a Time

Its not suppose to be this way
this is not how the story ends.
because the leading love affair
has yet to make amends.
Is that really the last kiss?
Was that really our last look?
If this is truly our love story
that's no way to end a book.
Turn the page and turn away
from paragraphs that past
Every story has its conflict
this won't be our last
But, you'll never know the ending
if you never even try
And all the words we walk past
we'll walk them side by side
Every sentence that made us cry
will be chapters full of laughter
I promise you I'll give to you
our Happily Ever After

White Skies

January is upon is, and our days are cold and quiet.

The humid, song-filled nights of summer are now long-since gone.

The idea- That there is motion, or action, in the land, beyond or by our own powers, is something hard to be believed at all.

My thoughts turn to a woman, whose interest was once peaked, against all regular course, and what might have been.

But now, in the mystery of her absence, in the cold and solemn winter nights, I sit here, attempting warmth, by the rubbing of my hands, and the ignition of my memory for her.

About this poem:
A few years ago, I had made the acquaintance of a beautiful woman, who expressed some fond interest in me. Thought she was ten years my senior, she was all I could want for a time, and when I found she was interested in me, it was such a boon.

We spoke, we met a few times. The last time we met, she was moving. She didn't offer any idea of new address, and I thought we should speak again. Never since have I seen her. Years, years, and yet I don't forget.

Love Gone (From Soft Foot treads of my Soul)

The dying embers of resentment smoke and smoulder in the dissolute ashes
of a forgotten future.
As I step gingerly over the sharp shards of broken dreams
the battered remains of lost hopes still linger in the bitter wastes of despair.
longing yet clutches me to her bony frame and the acrid smoke
of anger clings in the far reaches of my soul.
Bewilderment shakes her long tangled hair
that reaches down in front of my eyes, eyes that sting
with the beginning and end of rivers of unshed tears.
Sorrow lounges languidly beside me and tomorrow yawns at me
from the empty chasm of the future and the past mocks me chillingly from the wings of past lives.
I will never forget.

Alone Now ..

I keep on calling your name
In the darkness of shame
Hear me out screamin'
I'm calling out your name
Won't you feel my pain?
Between the letters I say
Now are you feeling the same?

Chorus:
I won't go away now,,
I'll just stand right here and ask you how
How did you freeze your heart and put me into doubt
Why would you break all the vows?
Should I forget the love that we once found?
Guess I'll walk away alone now ..

I'm smiling..
I don't wanna show the tears inside of me
I'll keep it secretly; I'll turn my face away
Cuz I'm dying..
I know for sure, that there's no cure
For what I feel , the reason still unknown

Chorus:
I won't go away now,,
I'll just stand right here and ask you how
How did you freeze your heart and put me into doubt
Why would you break all the vows?
Should I forget the love that we once found?
Guess I'll walk away alone now

What's Left Of Me

You close your eyes
And I close mine
We're kissing our love goodbye ..
I'll never taste your lips
You'll never smell my neck
There you go, leaving me
For many years to cry...

Chorus:
Surrender to the power of weakness
I think of you every time I'm breathless
You left me alone speechless
Show me how to make it through
Can I teach myself, to let you go?
How can I fight the well to remember?
When all what's left of me is you

Forget me not
Is all I have to say..
Now won't you set me free?
Let me walk down my way
But you keep locking me inside
I wanna go out and play like child
To learn how to ride my bike
To forget I ever had you by my side

Chorus:
Surrender to the power of weakness
I think of you every time I'm breathless
You left me alone speechless
Show me how to make it through
Can I teach myself, to let you go?
How can I fight the well to remember?
When all what's left of me is you
