Free, that I am but it is not what I wanted,
To be beaten and whipped like captive in gauntlet,
A parting loves end, the path of your choosing,
Unaffected by this mans' head and heart bruising,
And your blood is colder than late Winters' frost,
And now most certainly all has been lost,
For what is free when the heart aches from longing?
The head and the body are sick from the wanting,
No recourse or remedy, no proper redress,
No! Freedom for me tis a fate worse than death!

tonight I go to sleep
as though I have no more tomorrow
tonight I'll breath as well
like would be my last
for I feel as though
I've no more place to go
yet rest assured
all the thoughts that come
singing and dancing on my mind
are those that you and I wove
when our love was almost pure
and divine
for now as yet again
night after night like the wind
you're the one
that puts me to my sleep
and when tomorrow comes
I'd witness again
the bleeding sun birthing
as if with it, you'd come marching in
my heart with its heavy breathing
hoping, my waiting...
is never in vain.

Morning sweetest of dawning thoughts
kissing sunshine with love deeply within
now warmly they never really do know
what they have in front of them
It all lies in happiness
or for what they have really lost
for that matter
as one face turns cold
without love inside
meaningless heartache
Will they ever be happy and learn
or are they just happy making others sad
this is the reality of love
it's unconditional working at something
to achieve great goals together
not a second hand emotion
To just throw away feelings
discarding them at will
now sometimes it is very hard to take
in the cold truth ,
they do not love you at all

I feel low
Not aglow
These feeling
I need to stow
Not show
Emotions
Hurt
Feeling used
Abused
Taken
Advantage of
Why?
Does love
Have to hurt
So much
Cause pain
And such
That part
We always
Start
Vowing
Not to depart
Hurting inside
Miles wide
Why?
How high
Or low
Do we go
Center
Please enter
Be real
Please feel
Loves desires
Deep love
Not wounds
Soon

You're not worth my tears
More than I have nourished pain
Upon which love died.

I thought that love would forever last
But it ran through the cracks in my broken cup
The thirsty ground all sucked it up
Just left behind some dirty stains
I thought round rally my family would
When despair knocked on my front door
But one by one and two by two
The thin air claimed each and every one
I thought the things of a lifetime of getting
Hard earned luxuries both big and small
They'd be to enjoy near journey's end
Not plucked away by greedy grasping hands
I thought that trust over the years was built
That each would believe the other
How naive to believe this is true
In minutes the world can tumble
I thought that life would never change
And yet I stand amongst the scattered ruins
So many things are lost and gone
And the saddest loss of all is you

My search for you has brought me far,
My only guide has been a star
Of love which dwells within my heart
And flickers still 'tho we're apart.
A star that glows, becomes a fire
Engulfing me with sweet desire
To see at last your lovely face
And feel first hand your sweet embrace.
The warmth of you when you were near
Would fill me with eternal cheer
The happiness that you would bring
Your kiss would make me feel a king.
And 'tho to me you still are lost
There is no bridge I will not cross.
No road, no river, land or sea
Can ever keep your love from me.
I'll keep on searching 'til I find
That which I seek, your love divine.
The joy that you alone can bring
To me you are my everything.

My eyes still see that smile
That skin,that hair,that face
My ears still hear that voice
That laughter..that cry
An ocean between us
And history stacked against us
A click put you in my arms,
And a buzz alerted me of your leaving
They say I'm without a heart
If only they could hear it break
They judge my life in darkness
If only they knew how I missed the light
Our time is chiseled on my mind
I am a prisoner of the life we shared
Every thought is a stab dipped in disappointment
For logic says you should still be in my arms
I am become a beach without sand
A sky without stars, alone in the dark of night
Joy grabbed your hand as you walked out the door
Leaving only my shattered dreams to share my bed
Indeed I am without a heart
For there is nothing left to break...

Time and time again like an echo in the wind
My heart keeps crying out searching for you
Like the never ending tides changing the sea
I wonder if you are searching for me
We keep coming together life after life
Never giving up on searching for our eternity
Each time the world seems so much bigger
How much longer will you and I remain a we
In our first embrace the world was such a small place
To lose you so fast while the love kept on
To make my tears that were falling
be replaced by your name I was calling
Kept bringing you back to me
Death the new beginning of the we
Now I am waiting my time out in the desert
Heat pounding into my soul
Searching for my oasis my next skin
Waiting for your touch to bring me back to life
To carve your love into me like a knife
Hear me follow your heart and set me free
We'll be lovers for all time your hand already knows mine.
When they ignite we will reunite
Two will once more be one.

gone are the days when the wars were just
post up another puppet for the national lust
broken are the bows of the norman kings
atomic war threatens leavin nothin to glean
torn are the hearts of every true love
while dna carries on the most ruthless blood
here and there hide like pockets of gold
the sweetest love stories that have ever been told
like dreams of the gold rush crowds rally to mine
but many search for honey where theres no hive to find
somewhere in the journey one looks up to pray
only to find their mind has powers to help shape the way
amidst all the struggle a spark of hope
our day will come
