GENTLY.....TONIGHT

Lights turned down, just a bit,
Flame from taper to candle, now lit,
Soft music playing, slow, loving hugs,
Hot cocoa on table, in two large mugs,
So comfy on sofa, side by side,
Closer now, no feelings to hide.
Snuggling up nicely,
Pulling off shoes, feet up, feeling cosy,
Head resting on chest, heartbeat felt,
Heady perfume smelt,
Soft breaths, gentle sighs,
Flowing colours seen through closed eyes,
As fingers with flowing hair gently played,
A hand on thigh is tenderly laid.
Soft shadows flicker as the candle glows,
Minutes fly, though real time slows,
Two souls lost in another world,
Intertwined, together curled,
Two minds, now one, as artificial twilight fools,
Rising wisps of steam slowly cease,
..........As untouched cocoa cools.

The Romantic

Ma Dame, I say to you
as it was written
hundreds of years ago
by Francois de la Rochefoucauld,
"True love is like ghosts,
which everybody talks about
and few has ever seen."

And now this poem for you
in my own words...

Amoureaux,the fruits of my passion
are yours, and now
how I delight in your arrival
my hallowed woman
you among the gardenias that blossom...

Pour vous, I would with my last breath
exhale my love for you
on that day may it be bitter cold
so you could see what you mean to me...

Je t'aime, in my mind
where my thoughts are born
in my heart where emotions reside
and in my soul where dreams become...

Je vous vois, under the Spanish Moss
when the noisy throng of song birds burst with rhapsody
filling the echoing evening effervesce
with the elation of their songs...

Mon amour, if you this night descend into the abyss
of my loneliness, with the touch of your lips
plants in the moonlit garden will burst out in bud...

Je le ferai, inhale your perfume in bold enjoyment
as when one turns the pages of a sacred book
breathes the scent of mystic violets...

She knows me well

She rouses me early and with
a chuckle in my ear whispers,
'It's time to get up and go rescue
some fair maiden.'
'Not today darin', I mumble back,
I lost my horse last night.'
'Well, then, my mighty warrior, says
she, The dog chewed up your shield
this morning.' So come, my love, let
us make love by the raging sea.'

I Am Here!

There will be a path that leads me to you

So please wait, I'm trying not to take long

You're holding my heart so please be gentle

I need your love to remain safe and strong

There are times when I feel so all alone

Thoughts of you is what keeps me hanging on

I'm fighting for a love that I don't know

Knowing our feelings are each others clone

If we don't meet know the fight made life sweet

Kept bitterness from knocking at our door

Thoughts of you shielded loneliness away

Hope giving meaning to our life once more

Every day I wake I know it might be

The day when you are finally with me

About this poem:
Hope and bitterness do not live together. I will always hold hope close to me as I would a treasure.

you lodge in my heart

We might be a million miles apart
But you're always inside my heart.

You may not always be near
But your voice I always hear.

My love our souls are forever joined
And our spirits forever in our zone.

I will always love you.

drummers lament

you hypotised my drums
as they beat a rythm
from deep in my soul
in the spirit of love
watch me exploding outside
putting me in this magical world
as my drum beats
how i feel inside
as i bathe in your love
as i beat harder
on the walls of my heart
i want the world to hear
you and me
together
till the end of time

Why do I love you?

Why do I love you?

You used to miss me
When I was gone
You used to kiss me
When I came home
You used to hug me
Now you don't
I think you used to love me
But now you don't...
I don't know why I love you
You leave me feeling so blue
Tell me why do you do what you do?
I don't know Why I love you...
Yeah you're going out every night
I hear you're running around with other guys
Leading a double life
Why can't you be true?
I don't know why I love you
You call me on the phone
Asking me when I'll be home
Yeah I know your not alone
You think I'm some kind of a fool
Should I tell you that we're through
I don't know why I love you...
Then you look me in the eyes
Telling me your alibis
I believe another lie
Cause I'm so scared of the truth
I just don't know what to do
I don't know why I love you
I don't know why but it's true
I don't know why I love you...

faded flowers

Sunbeams glide hrough the window
The glass bowl with faded flowers
The light catching the bowl
Splinters of color shoot out
and the wall lights up
Pinks, blues, greens, a rainbow of nature.
And the flowers again become a thing of beauty.

About this poem:
Sometimes in life people feel faded and forgotten,
It just takes a ray of sun to light them up and show them how beautiful and special they are:-)

My sunshine came as moonlight:-)

Love for Unseen

Love for unseen.
__________________________________________
I haven't seen her yet
But her picture is in my Heart.

I haven't seen her yet
But her eyes are full of magic.
Her face is very innocent
Her lips are very Red
Her teeth are very Bright
Her nose is like a pirot
Which make me very high
Her face like a Moon
When her hairs are acrossed her face
I haven't seen her yet
But she graved her picture in my Heart

She dn't know that I Love her from my Heart.
I always feel her in my Heart
But she is very far
I haven't seen her yet
But her picture is in my Heart.

Love's Bask (MacDuff's Challenge)

"How much do I love thee?"
A poet one time asked;
His answer was an awesome thing
As in a lover's glow he basked.

Now I don't speak at all like that
Fancy words don't come my way;
I find simple words the best
For things I have to say.

"How much do I love you?"
Well, Old Shakespeare he may say;
"I love you as the morning dew
Doth love the brand new day".

"And how strong are my feelings?"
He's probably say with glee;
"My love is strong enough to bind
My soul with that of thee".

And I wonder what Old Bill would say
About how long my love would last;
'Til both earth and time stand still
They sure spoke fine in days gone past.

I wish I had those fancy words
To tell about my love;
I even hit my knees and asked
For help from up above.

My hands are cool and chilly
As I try to find a word;
I even asked the old folks
For any phrase they may have heard.

They just laugh at me
And say, "Just go give him a kiss
You're going to have a heart attack
If you keep on like this".

But I've got to get this message right
You simply have to know
How my heart feels so deep inside
And how I need you so.

I'll love you for forever
My love is so strong and true;
My love's so big my heart may burst,
These things I'd say to you.

But I'm not a fancy poet
So I'll just say I love you;
I'll leave the fancy words to someone else
Just say you'll love me too.
