Unravelling

I unravelled this “World”
Mile by glorious mile
From the tops
Of every “Goliath”
To the depths
Of each “Ocean”
And it showed me
A new “World”
One of ceaseless wonders
And the threads of
“New life”
Like me, yet
To reach maturity
But that bore
So many bruises
Of indulgence
That you seemed
To scream to me
“Rape me no more”

I unravelled the “Universe”
Galaxy upon galaxy
Until your infinity
Was no longer
Beyond my comprehension
And travelled from star
To star
Planet beyond planet
And every single Moon
Released to me
The font of knowing
And all your mysteries
Became a reality
That my very comprehension,
Absorbed, as if
The “Universe”
Had adopted me
As its “Long lost”
Forgotten brother

I unravelled, “You”
Inch
By desirable inch
Exploring
All of your beauty
Until
You had no more
To yield
And this to me
Was a new “Universe”
Where all comprehension
Came in “Waves”
Of pure pleasure
And “Crashed”
Upon the beach
Of all my being
And my knowledge
Became so much
The greater
For had I now,
Finally reached
That “Maturity”
That we so desperately
Seek
But to me
You still remain
The unfathomable mystery
And out of all the three
“You”
Are the height
Of my ecstasy

About this poem:
I leave you with my swansong, I am taking a long sabbatical to finish my children's novel I started last year and need to get back to to finish. I shall be gone for 6-12 months, but pop in from time to time to read the poems here. I shall not post or comment but this does not mean I shall not enjoy what I see.
I wish you all well and may your future journey bring you all you desire.
Adios para ahora mi amigo's/amiga's

Forgotten Love

How I would sacrifice all to see you once more
But it seems to me you have found my flaw
For I am a man that fell on he’s own sword
It was no request; it came to me untoward

It was no self-sacrifice, no dismal pathetic plea
But once again it brought me down too one knee
Could I deem to contemplate the searing pain?
Of a heart that bled pure sadness once more again

I would hone my blade to keep it thus keen
If perchance with my eye you might be seen
Why not linger? Why do you require your flight?
Would my swords sharpness quell you of this right?

For you it would therefore rust in its sheath
For an aging Lion has no need of angers teeth
Even he would swallow he’s pride and deign
For an empty throne is nowhere proud to reign

I continue to seek what cannot, by me, be found
My heart will not let my mind thus confound
Time to me can seem so blindingly cruel
If it will not see that I have played the fool

The passing of moments are just an empty space
Where amour has left leaving nought of a trace
Then I would plead for passion to change my lot
But I dwell in a lonely place that love hath forgot

True Beauty

Behold, for I had gazed on real true beauty
I had seen it with the dawn of inner sight
My minds soaring wingless flight
So deep, yet shone in the darkest of night

I look far beyond the protective thin layer
That captures many, like Satan’s slayer
Its depth cannot hide, like Icebergs flow
Not cold, like winters iced frozen snow

It radiated out every pore of ones being
All knowing and forever all seeing
It shines so brightly in compassioned eyes
Not concealed in false clothing wearing the Devils disguise

It has no need of self perceived vanity
It does not sap you, nor bleed your sanity
No cloak of deceit for it to wear
It lays its soul out to you, open, bare

If you do not see then surely you are blind
Your life spent in torment of the shallow kind
Seek far beneath that ageing outer shell
Your heart will not lie, it can always tell

I LOVE YOU

I love you

would there be a better way to live
than to love and be loved?

I love you

no pressure, just feeling free
no demands, no boundary

I love you

you give me your heart
your failures, success, trust

I love you

you can go anytime you want
but I know, you will stay

because, you love me, too
and this is our way

together

our connection, unrestrained
wrapped secured in your strong arms

you and I feel ourselves entwined
so at peace, yet so unbound

we love each other, with respect
trust we both share

I hope, to last forever.

I love you.

YOUR QUEST

gold hidden 'neath the rugged earth
upon which lay your quest
yet murky and turbid is the dew
that is harvested in a cup of sand
your weakness never sets
over the parched and scorching heat
nor will your strength
ever laid to rest
until you will run out
of your sweats
you will want to know
deep within your heart
why all this land
is covered with blood
and as the world lay witness
and yet mightily unconcerned
to its naked plight

your mind will never fathom
why the rift is burning strong
so you will keep on digging
until you reach the bottom
hoping it will lay bare
all the reasons,
that this blood covered land
is a conflict no more
in the mighty difference
of white and black color
but the gap of those
who have and who don't

the question is...will man ever learn
how to vanish indifference?
give to those that have not
and even out the earth's wealth
so revolt will not explode?

perhaps nobody really cares...
you are alone, abandoned
on this quest..
buried
in a drifting sand
stained with ruthlessness
by the greed of human hand
glued forever
in human blood.

Blue Diamonds

Diamond blue
The color of your eyes
Love to watch them as they dance around
Hands soft warm and loving
Touches my heart
When I cup your face in my hands
Fills my soul
I can feel the love we share
Making me whole
When I look at your picture
I know our love is real
I give my heart to you
Handle it with tender love and care
Love and protect it .

To the CS lady poets

The depth of her emotions - like a sea; -
Are something that few men can understand;-
Like Einstein with his relativity;
Where in this world we're but a grain of sand;-
Sometimes a spark in lady's eye I see;
(Then I feel humble, for I am just a man);-
The female, and the sacred, and the goddess;-
Where compassion soaks like tears down a dress.

It's women who gave birth to all our life;-
The reflection of her soul is in her eyes;
A gentle spirit in this world of strife;-
She rocks her baby softly lullabies;
And then maybe, she'll make a goodly wife;-
She wants understanding, when those tears she cries;
You must love her most - even when shes old;-
That's her comfort in a world so cold.

I say to all the ladies: we are but men;-
We have our weakness and our imperfections;
Forgive us when we stray, (just now and then);-
To seek solace in another girl's affections;
I'll try to be a better man - and when;-
I find love - it will be my resurrection.;
I'm not saying that, in beauty, you are blameless;-
Though with your gentle hearts, you do ashame us.

Ireland on my mind

Celtic women..
Pubs and rolling
Mountains plush green
The tension between time
And space is more than I
Can bare
She knows what I know
We know it together
If we sigh it is with the
Eternal breath of hope..
If ever the sea yields to
Her this body of passion
If my hands ever touch the
Cheek of her longing
My whispers shall heal her
Of paradise lost
And we shall make love beneath
The tree of life.

The Keys to Lasting Love.

The thorny path to love is ne'er smooth,
As blinded so many dare ramble,
With many inflicted scars to sooth,
Entangled in its briars and bramble.

Respect and equality are high on the list,
None seeking control of the other,
Take nothing for granted and always persist
To share hugs, but don't try to smother.

Don't live in your shadows, take time on your own,
Each person entitled to this,
Demands and shortcomings are best left alone,
Avoid falling in bitter abyss.

Be there for your lover like strong back bone,
Make Love ! ... for its Gods special gift,
And when you're apart you won't feel alone,
Contentment your hearts will lift.

It's better to listen than it is to talk,
Have fun ! ...it helps stop the rust,
Share things together if only a walk,
Positivity will strengthen your trust.

And lastly forgiveness in love is huge,
The word that turns misery to bliss,
Bring these keys with you to seek refuge,
And trade them all in for a kiss.

In A Blink Of An Eye

Embedded image from another site

Beneath the low muffles
Pedestrians shuffle
An average city day
Of hustle and bustle
A lovely days stroll
With no place to go
Still the worlds moving fast
But I'll remain slow
Because theres no movement
Unless I stand still
To give my heart a chance
To understand what it feels
The brilliance of designs
Engineered by our minds
And yet we lack passion
To save our own lives
Surveying the pavement
To the edge of concrete
When I became overwhelmed
By this vision I'd seen
It was for a brief moment
Yet I was surprised
When I saw her blue eyes
Staring back into mine
Butterflies came to life
It was love at first sight
Our approach became closer
And once again were her eyes
I felt a connection
Free from suggestions
Connected like dots
Lost in translation
But what I seen was a world
For this boy and that girl
Behind a white picket fence
And all this from a curb
Could she be the one
As the cat held my tongue
I brought the words to my lips
But my voice became numb
Them damn butterflies
They took me for a ride
I may be made of steel
But Im like butter inside
So without knowing her name
The light color changed
Then they all crossed the street
Moving on in their haste
She disappeared in a blur
Blending in with the world
And there I was standing
All alone on the curb
But with a smile I left
Without chance of regret
Or what if I spoke
The words my heart said
Still overjoyed with delight
It just wasn't our time
And she was gone from my life
In a blink of an eye
