Why did they bring flattery to my door when I cried
Were they propping themselves up on my bent over back
Picking the berries growing above the window
to plant the seeds of Yulomi?
Did the wizards lie their ways into the curriculum
Make me pay for a collection of jokes tucked away in
unannounced homonyms
Knowing the world would sit by and profit from the transaction
never complaining
Mute world that it is
So now I bring him diamonds and his blind eyes keep their sleep
and the hands that he lost when he dipped them in the grinder fail to tell him of the shapes
And he sends words flying from a loveless mouth
defending his pedestal among the obedient pets of the canyon
I really thought maybe he was doing the math
Turns out it’s only a machine
spitting spit spit spit
And though I did read his title, put it through my private gentle brain (and worked and made love to it with my mind) turns out he doesn't know the meaning of reading.
When I couldn’t get any further I stopped, but what does he care of his reader?
He cares only about the petty flattery.
So tell him to go and get it.
(Go and get it, little dog)

About this poem:
I think it's healthy to be romantic in form, so I really appreciate the makings of poet's corner and what it allows us to do. Is there anything more romantic than labelling something as a poem, and creating your own idea of what a poem is, even if it falls flat and is ridiculous in reality?

Sometimes I just wanna die because I no longer wanna cry that's why I like to smoke weed and get hella high. I don't understand why i'm always thinking about murder and rape doesn't matter whether i'm asleep or awake. I don't wanna have these thoughts anymore I rather be gutted like a wild boar or beat to death like a pimp does to his cheapest whore. I don't really care how I die long as its full of blood and gore. I'm too evil minded to keep alive thinking about killing my rival's son that's only five. I feel like my mind is going through a constant battle between good and bad. When I die my family should be glad that i'm free of all the bad but my mom will be sad and so will my dad. Hopefully these thoughts of mine will be gone before my life runs out of time.

The clock ticks
So slowly
The tick of the motor
Tick tick
Watchin waiting
As time goes bye
One minute gone
Then five
And then a hour
Time ticks bye
Day turns to night
Twenty four hours gon bye
Days become months
Months become years
Years to decades
Old I will be
My time now used up

No sun or moon nor stars that shine
Just misery like black blanket wrapped
Bitterly cold wind howling past
It chills me to the bone
The wind my voice snatches away
Not a soul can hear me scream
The tears that from my eyes fall
Freeze before they reach my chin
My heart that normally thumps so loud
Within my breast is almost still
How much longer can I this endure
Before I'll cease to be
Just beyond the length of arm's reach
The birds in sunshine sing
Lovers walk hand in hand
But you're not here with me
So on I'll go condemned to this
In a world of black and white
Maybe, someday, somehow
Something will break on through

About this poem:
Have not had the time for writing so I thought that I might start with something dark
First one of a series with a Black & White theme

No care for the hour,
No matter which day,
Overcast clouds,
Threatening rain,
Dark skies heavy,
Cloaked in gloom,
Showers falling,
Thunder booms,
Drenching,
Pouring,
Full on monsoon,
Alone in my room,
The shadows encroach,
I see them,
Feel them,
Hear them approach,
With so little hope for a brighter day,
I listen to the taps of the rain,
Tap tap tapping at my window pane...

When I want your attention
I compete with your phone,
You tell me you love me
While you look at your phone,
Everywhere we go,
Yeah look at your phone,
Driving down the road,
Damn look at your phone,
All in a zone,
You can't leave it alone,
Look at your phone,
Look at your phone,
Walking down the street,
Sweet, look at your phone,
We sit down to eat,
And you look at your phone,
I try to talk to you,
Yeah look at your phone,
Even when your all alone yeah,
Look at your phone,
Said give me your digits,
And you looked at your phone,
Ask "What time is it?"
And you look at your phone,
I just tried to call,
You didn't pick it up hoe!
I know you seen me ringing
Cause you look at your phone!

He sat stiffly at
the end of the bar.
His face sagging and
covered with scars.
He thought back on why
he was at this place.
That fair young lady
covered in satin and lace.
He asked the bartender
for another drink.
Maybe one more shot
would help him think.
She wanted a strong hero
fresh from the war.
But, she had no idea
just what was in store.
She not only got the
strong man she had seen.
She got his burdens of war,
which was like a bad dream.
The sleepless nights and
shadows always in the corner.
She found that this hero
was destined to be a loner.
One night she was gone,
a feather in the wind.
So, he headed to the bar
to let the drinking begin.

It's like when you're at the carnival,
You see the big fancy rides with the loops and whoops,
While some people are obviously having a great time,
Others are screaming,
Some even crying...,
You can see it from beginning to end from your point of view...,
All the highs and lows,
Ups and downs of the whole roller coaster,
You can imagine what it's like as if you are there doing it...,
So now you dont have to ride it...,
That's how I see life...as a giant amusement park,
I look at the long lines and sometimes some rides dont seem like that they'd be that much fun...

Flicking tones - clouds
closing to
heaving sighs of darkness
turning on my feet
I ran
with sadness
Picking though the chase
eyes
bold
the mixture of lace
Gills of red
fresh
rooms of mesh
crunching bones
that lay
upon the
burning
stones
a lingering moment
staid
yet
another
finger will sway
As much as we gave
To yet another robbers grave

When you text me on your phone
I wonder if your scared or just alone
You say your kind of shy
thats probably a lie
your most likely with
some other guy
You say you love me but I know you don't
your just saying that because you hope that I won't
when you tell me your cold and lonely yal had a fight
always ignoring me by day and texting me at night
you always seem nice to me
when you want some money
you then laugh at my jokes
then tell me there funny
you tease me saying soon
playing me like a cartoon
telling me what I want to hear
acting like you want me near
I see through you with every line
yet I still wish you would be mine
Why must I wait
why must I hate
and all for your sake
seeing what I can take
testing me
while i'm real
your just fake
I'm just a tool
a mere stepping stool
I understand that you seek happiness and he was what you sought
I was always there hinting asking but, you didn't care what I thought
Well its over now i'm threw done
you can actually laugh now you won
Its over I say over
ti'll I look over my shoulder
your there a huge weight
like a gigantic bolder
while your feeling warmer
i'm feeling colder
why can't this
just be over
while your relaxed sleeping soundly
i'm stuck with my self made hell of misery
You say your scared
that your not prepared
I want to let you go but, I can't
thats why I went on this stupidly insane rant
I'm there for you while your not for me
I wonder if thats how its supposed to be
