halloween

On the bridge the headless
Horseman sits
Comtemplating his future
Doing his job to scare human beings

His day began as normal
To scare the town folk
Of wooky hollow
When up pops his boss

To say he was not scary enough
Your sacked he beloud out load so all the town folk could hear
With a majourity vote they all cheer
Of you go to retirement with you
A new scarey goblin is due

With a wimper and a cry
Carring his head under his arm
He rides his stallion one last time
To his haunted tree he goes

His slippers by the fireside
He warms his cold bones
Puts his kettle on
Makes some cheese on toast

He gentlle puts his feet up
Sticks his fingers up
That's what I think all those town folk
Says humbug and eats his cheese on toast

Poltergeist

Poltergeist
Also known as stone throwing ghost
They are the rarest of ghosts
They move objects
They are often associated with a person
Usually a young child
The movie poltergeist has a demonic force
It abducts their daughter by sucking her into a closet
Why didn't they leave immediately when the chairs moved
A tree almost ate their son
Their daughter spent some horrifying time with ghosts and satan
All caused by a greedy boss
Who wouldn't move the tombstones
Which teaches us an important lesson
Build your home on a cemetary
And you just might piss off some poltergeists

About this poem:
Just started watching the movie Poltergeist. Heather O'Rourke who played Carol Ann Freeling died in 1988 at the age of 12 from a misdiagnosed intestinal stenosis. I have seen the other two movies and you can really see her face puffed out from her illness in Poltergeist III. The closest I have ever come in contact with a ghost was at a farm house my sister rented back in 1980. She moved because she felt watched by the ghost of the old man who died in that house.

Tears Of My Sorrow

Doom and gloom, sadness and depression settle around me like a heavy fog, squeezing the life out of me. Anything good is being forced out and ever more and more I feel like an empty toothpaste tube, nothing left inside.

So here I stand like an old derelict building, deserted by even the rats, waiting for the wrecker’s ball to forge it’s way through my walls. My life crashing around me, scattered pieces at my feet.

I can make out patterns, tell what some of these pieces had been and where they had fitted into my life. Too late, too late these pieces make sense.

As I watch, drops of rain disturb the dusty ground, forming rivulets. The realisation hits me, it is I causing this rain, it is the tears of my sorrow.

Carrie

They're all gonna laugh at you!
That's what my crazy religious mother said
She was right
Now they are dead
Why didn't they treat me nice?
So what if I was shy?
If they would have been my friends
I wouldn't have had to make them die
I have telekenetic powers
I can move objects with my mind
I went up on the that stage
And what did I find?
A prank
A bucket of pig's blood
They tricked me
That mean girl and John Travolta
So here I am
Buried in this house of rubble with my impaled mother
I just wanted to belong
Oh, why bother!

About this poem:
It would be nice if the story of Carrie were just a fantasy restricted to books and movies, but sadly many kids face the daily trama of mean bullies at school, unfortunately some use guns instead of kinetic powers to exact their revenge. A remake of Carrie is coming out in October with the girl from Kickass and Kickass 2 which was my favorite movie so far this year.

Blank Canvas

The canvas was stark white
No marks of life yet added
Possibilities
Innocence
Purity

Through loving strokes came color
Blue streaks of light
Happiness
Serenity
Joy

Next came contrasts of hue
Adding variety for all to see
Imagination
Knowledge
Growth

But the artists hand was interrupted
Sticky red jagged lines
Betrayal
Pain
Death

worms

Why is it some days it feels like worms crawling around in your brain.
every though is moved and displaced as they crawl,
and soon every fragment of your mind is a huge puzzle
that you never are sure anyone will ever work out.

Maybe if I were to lay down on the cold, green, wet grass,
close my eyes and just stop thinking completely
they would get bored and begin to crawl out of my ears and
return to the earth to make roads there where they belong.

My mind would then be clear and without anything left inside,
would I remain like this or would someone find me and make
the time to fill my mind with some order and beauty?

hidden

When times are bad
Wish I could dissapear
Vanish into thin air
Put on my invisable cream

Spread it all over and watch me dissapear
Into the mirror I would climb look out onto the world
And hide
Look out on the turbulant world full of war and dissfunction

Time are bad high prices cost of living in a crisses
Into my mirror
Am at peace shelterd hidden from perreeing eyes
No one sees me in my mirror
For am the only one that see

If you look in my mirror
You will not see who am I
For my soul hidden from prying eyes
Here in my mirror watching

The view

debt

What is life
To be in constent debt
To pay tax and constant bills
Daily struggle to survive

To keep from drowning in debt
The sharks do
Circle they gaver around
They circle and watch

To strike when your down
Massive loans that you cannot pay
100% markup
You took on these debt s

Oh what a fool you are
Now your
Hiding behind your door
watch out for

the reaper of men
To take his woed of cash
Maybe break your legs for you have cash to pay
You struggle day by day
In fear repossesion constant

Fear
Oh help I dont want to be in debt

Eternal Darkness....

A tempest of misery...
I know so well.
That frozen forest...
It's been my hell.
The veil is thin...
The ghosts await.
I can't resist...
This awful fate....

Broken glass,
The blood runs fast,
My God what have I done?
The pain won't end,
There is no sleep,
My hell has just begun....

SPECIAL ...ME?

Phantom as I might beyond my wildest dreams,
Or ponder behind the mystery of my escape ,
From countless villainous hands of death,
Which brings me back to question myself.

Am I special or just extremely lucky?
Numerous encounters with the enemies,
And yet I live to fight another day,
There seem to be an epic destiny!

If only I knew what's in store for me today,
Another assassin hidden in shadows,
Come what may I dare not say ,
As I go on my way.
