My Dark Place

In this place no light is reflected
No colour will ever be detected
And try as one might happiness won't ever visit
This is the place I go to quit

It is the place no one will ever find
This place is not known to be kind
Once you've entered its door invited or not
You will never escape; not by a long shot

This place at anytime is not known to be promoted
But then it is also true; never has it been demoted
Most visitors never wanted to expose it location
What goes on there goes on in isolation

Tears cried here is never talked about or heard
Things spoken are spoken here without a word
And sanity is either lost or preserved
In this place that is never truly reserved

Though I am a regular visitor I have no map
And I go there awake or while taking a nap
Doesn't matter much; the result is the same
No one talk about this place for shame

Fact is this place has become apart of me always
This is my place where insanity plays
Beckoning me to join its dark games, everyday
I don't truly understand how I keep away

Frances Farmer (40s hollywood star)

Frances
you were a star
in lesser sky
those years gone by

Hollywood
you found fame
acting with
famous names

married
but unhappy
the system
had you

Hollywood
that tinsel town
a nightmare
to you

system
mother and marriage too
all drove you crazy
it would anyone too

alone
fighting the odds
they hated you
you felt the same

so when you blew
and scandals came
they got tired
of your name

and incidents
with the law
cost you dear
no so fair though

how could they
put you in an asylum
leave you there
amongst the crazy ones

evil men tarnished you
took a angel
soiled her wings
frances so alone

left there unprotected
forgotten
by all who knew you
frances how could they

hells years
fell on you
til they thought to
operate, kill her spirit

cut open your head
tried to fix the wildness
left you damaged
killed your personality

but like a angel
you rose again
angel in the rain
you got through

came out of there
badly scarred
one day you saw
the sun shining down

set an angel free
your story touches me
so deep i felt for you
and what they did

hurt and angel
and they will pay
hurt woman
like you frances

never knew you
but read your story
last laugh was yours
hosting a tv show

but you were
never the same
they damaged
your brain

your joy they stole
your image marred
frances how could they
scar and angel like you
its what evil men do
but i would have
fought for you
as any one
through injustice do
Hollywood
and family
and evil men
will pay
for hurting
you frances..

Dementia

War In Heaven

Feathers from their wings fall from the sky
Echoes of their screams reverberate through the clouds
One by one, you can see them falling
Murdered in numbers and in the blood they drown
It happened once before, said it would never happen again
But not even God could see this coming
Another war in Heaven is now upon us
And just the site of an angels's death to me is stunning
Broken wings, their smooth bodies impaled
Blood flowing freely from their open wounds
Is this the sign that every Christian has waited on
Does this mean that the return of Christ will be soon
I walk among them, their screams, some with vacant stares
And though I want to run, I can not look away
Tortured by the sight of so much horror
I pray God please wake me to another day
And now it is morning, the sun shining brightly
As I jump up from my bed
All my fear has suddenly vanquished
For this was all a dream inside my head

secrets

The pain begins to wake me,
My nightmare starts to shake me
I find demons trying break me
And day by day I suffer in silence,
Screaming inside but no one knows
What I continue to hide, the pressure,
the pain, and yet there's no one but myself to blame
Is there anyone I could tell?
Would they scream or yell?
From the looks on their faces,
I could never tell, they steal and lie
Yet I'm the one who defies them,
With secrets, they search for but never find.

Regression

Clouds in my mind as my clock ticks backwards
Too hurt to alter time and set myself free
As the tick and the tock clangs all is further away, but the boy who appears as a man gets younger every hour
I catch a glimpse in a nightmare of all the pain I have been
Others fade away and partners wash their hands
Do parents know what they have done to make a childs heart fold?
City streets at night time are like a book to shock the world
Who knows why the lines become distorted
The ladies are out for a drink too many on a Friday night
Who knows why the lines become distorted
The businessman wants to get lost after the tensions of a day
In the bustling cities bodies are being sold
The killing fields may be normal and everyday things
Norms and values plant the crop that feeds the mayhem
A child screams from within the adults going about their day

escape

I cannot live with you
I can't live at all
I can't go on breathing
I just can't recall
a time spent without you
a time of my own
think I'll call it a day and maybe just go away
does anybody here know the way home?

I was hypnotized by all your lies
a limboland of pain
please set me free
I can't take it no more
with my face on the floor
as you happily walk over me

now's the time for us to be
ending this charade
find another parade
you'll find that you've got it made
there's plenty more saps in the sea

meanwhile, I'll find a road
that leads away
to a life I can trust
if I can shake off the rust
and maybe find myself a new day

soul to steal

haunted by a million ghosts.
taken by fortunate host.
shivering through pain.
god my heart feels the rain.
as i cross a valley of doubt.
feeling sorrow turning inside out.
take my soul to steal if you please.
your a goddess and im on my knees.
as i shutter winter storms.
across my heart and into my arms.
tears fall through virgins eyes.
sadness awaits all our goodbyes.

She Who Graces the Enchanted World

She who graces the enchanted world
Can no longer see the path to heaven
She longs to bleed eternally inside
As those she loves sacrifice her
Emotional scars the build up of pain
Her beauty can no longer be hidden

Unleash the grotesque beast within thoughts
He will rip and tear at the souls of the good
Blood lies washed across the church floor
How can you not see they are meant to be?
Beauty and the Beast, a solid love
Wrought Iron cross on lips, crucifix

O Heavenly Father
He who created us all
Wash away the tear stains
Forgive us who refuse to see
The true life in front of their eyes
Your wine the taste of blood
O saviours come forward
Defeat us

Amen

Dance with destiny written in stars
Embrace the rejection of the cold hearted
Her voice lingers long after deathly prayers
Cursed to walk the damned corridors forever
Hell closing in on her, raven hair burnt away
Her eyes will stay in your mind all eternity

Corporate Stranglehold

How can we stop the infinite corporate greed
and the destruction that the dollar digging causes
to help those who are suffering and in real need
from what wealth in the hands of the few causes

speak for the species lost and those on the brink
people lost in vanity, ego-fed, materialistic
zombies asleep, who themselves would rather not think
about whats truly important and be realistic

what will it take to end this growing illusion
who will be silenced if they take this stand
I wish that there could be a better conclusion
as time turns the truth in the mortal man
