you walk on by
brackish in thoughts
turbid and livid emotions
swimming in your cold heart
did you disappear out of impulse?
or was it planned?
doesn't matter
your weakness ruled your mind
you should have known
thriving in ignorance
isn't my strength

and certainly not
forgetfulness

in reality I thought:
I'd never see you again

at least now
I can put my mind to rest
knowing you're alive and well.

His limbs look how they shake,
Were it a nightmare he would roll,

See sweat, the brow and palms replete,
The stomach how it turns,
It's fear, that thing that touches deep,
For calm the heart, it yearns,

Now he that harboured unbelief,
Will bid the heavens prove,
And plead the gods grant swift release
From fright and pending doom!

I yelled at the twisted world,
"What else do you have for me?,
I eat sorrow and sadness for
breakfast, topped with tragedy,
I swallow insanity gladly,
Chew madness up like gum,

Cause hurt is where I'm from,
I embrace the darkness,
Hold hands with the devil himself,
Most aspire to reach the heavens,

The magician struggled to control the beast,

something from the depths beneath,
" My body is weak and I grow old",
" I would give my eternal soul"
" for a thousand years or so..."
Signed in blood, a pact was made,
"I grant you your request in vain,
For a millenia love wont find your face",
The man was aghast and asked with a huff,
"What would life be without love?"
The devil slyly grinned and shrugged,
"You should've made a deal with the god above..."

I go wild but tamed
Often imagining,motionless.
Romantically shy.
Lustful desire, Not sinful.
Curiousness, manageable and tolerable.
Loving, absolute.
Alone, not lonely.
Wanting more, for normal and usual.
Giving, no reservations nor pretensions.
