Shadows of Doubt

In the blink of an eye,you might suddenly feel
That your world's been invaded by all things unreal.
They slink up behind you, and don't make a sound,
But there's nothing to fear... if you don't turn around.

In the pit of your stomach there rests a device
That can calculate how fast your blood turns to ice;
It measures the temperature nightmares will start,
Then divides it by beats of a terrified heart.

At the foot of your bed lies a blanket of fear,
You might think it quite safe, but it's always quite near.
When its steel-woolen quilting wraps `round you one night,
You may learn that it's not only bedbugs that bite.

At the top of the stairs there's an attic I've found,
That remained even after the house was torn down,
And it's filled with the cobwebs of lonely old dreams,
Which have grown into nightmares that swing from the beams.

At he mouth of a cave lives a shadow of doubt,
If you dare to go in, will you ever come out?
Are there creatures who lurk where it's too dim to see?
Can you hear when they move? Are you scared yet? (who me?)

At he edge of the earth flows a river of fear,
And it pours into space day by day, year by year.
As you shoot the cold rapids, and stray far from shore,
Do you notice your lifeboat has just lost an oar?

In the eye of the storm stands a ghost of chance,
And around her all spirits are destined to dance.
She turns a cold gaze toward an unlucky few-
Don't dare to look now, for she's staring at you.

At the end of the world stands a giant steel door,
And what lies beyond it, nobody's quite sure...
is it crystal-clear heavens, night blazing hot,
And which is more frightning: knowing or not?

In the face of the future we fly on our own,
Hoping our wings never turn into stone.
If you fall from the sky to the sea, will you drown?
Well, there's no need to worry... unless you look down.

At the back of your mind, there's a hole open wide,
Where the darkness is creeping in from the inside,
You can light rows of candles to cast the dark out,
But it's always there hiding...
... in shadows of doubt.

~The Lawyer~

Being there in a time a need, he's been seen in time's a greed. Protecting the wrong with a pillow of right over fingers entwined. How can one defend a wrong to a right an walk in good shoes. A paycheck perhaps, an interested nose gets the pay from a sale to better mankind. Directing society making them feel it's where they should be~

secrets? what secrets?

What is this pain that wakes you
Why does this nightmare shake you
These demons coming to break you
And yet in silence suffering
Counting days slowly passing
Hiding screams that no one knows
Who is there to blame
For the pressure and pain
To look within for blame or fault
For their faces tell the story
They seek for truths that lay hidden
And truths they never find

soul to steal 2

ghost inside haunting the alive.
take for granted what's buried inside.
heart of stone yet so still.
these thornes are breaking me for real.
goddess i love show truth for your will.
to hold nothing a soul to steal
the eyes of my love don't forsake me.
come inside my heart and see.
that my love is for you only.

AFTER DARK

touching your soul
dying hand is slow
drowning desires
in the flooded gates
of hell
darkening day
tourcherous night
feeling the pain
in the suction
of life
howling of the moon
deepens the cry
templets used to
write and amuse
broken glass
darkens the blood
silence falls victim
to a rising sun
alarm bells
wakens the dead
for I will take cover
till the moon rises
again

About this poem:
the insane system of man being slaves to our own demise. tourcherous pain at night comes from a brutal day of being slaves to the mans own created system of life. think life would be far easier if we were living in a different created system like grow your own build your own. whatever happened to that way of life. is that not how it should be is that not how it started out too be long ago.

Different planet

In a world of magic,
Silent speaks across the winds,
Where trees scatter news,
Of places with loving beings.
In a world of logic,
Gossips speaks together with sins,
Are spread by sweeten lips,
With countless sorrow and pain.

Broken Model

Torn photos lay around me
Sticking my head on new bodies
Starving myself just to be skinny
Wishing I didn’t have to, but there never is too thin
I went from a size 12 to a size 8
But I still was fat, still mentally overweight
Surviving on water was not surviving at all
But I was trapped in a mental prison and I couldn’t break the wall
I was jealous of the pretty girls, they had it all
They were so skinny without even trying
Every time I tried it was like my Caribbean roots kept defying
My thighs still fat
Bottom still big
But as my chest contracts you could see my ribs
Reflecting a 21st century view
Size 0 was the only size I wanted to get to.

Darkness Inside

You look like an
average man yet
you hold darkness
in your hand and
soul.
The darkness grows
stronger each day
but no one sees
that is the way.
He looks like you
and me, but yet
that is not true.
The darkness is in
his eyes for he
wears a disguise.
He tries to lure
you in and make
all your inhibitions
D I S A P P E A R.
For then you will
let your guard
down and trust
in him that will
be your greatest sin.
For his darkness
will pull you in
and before you
know it life will
not exist without him.
Darkness will have
taken you in.

The cold world

Its a bitter, biting, blizzard that I have entered,
Lost and injured,
A wasp with no stinger,
A wounded animal surviving the winter,
Who's gonna remove this huge wooden splinter,
This stake that's been driven strait through my heart,
I'm undead, alive, alone in the dark,
I keep thinking back on memories,
Remembering how things used to be,
This sorrow seeps into my soul,
This game is so cold,
I feel centuries old,
With broken hearts and lost loves,
Is anyone right for any of us?,
Who do you trust?,
How do you endure?,
I see love as a sickness for which there's no cure...
