you can try

you can try and try but nothing works
to be so kind but still you hurt
this creature you hide down in the dirt
its so unfair this kind of hurt

theres one thing in this life you learn
the pendulum swings-then you get burned
hoping-hoping for things to change
this lifes a book so turn the page

I try but it makes no sense at all
when time just seems to take it all
moving hands will tick life away
but in the end it doesn't really matter

searching but theres no one around
to wish for things to keep us sound
waiting and waiting for a friendly face
I feel so lost and out of place

you can hurt til the end of time
the words you say can't change your rhyme
you did your best to fit right in
but in the end it doesn't really matter

Warriors journal

"Die!"...,
I scream my battle cry,
Letting arrows fly,
Three no longer breathe,
Bullseye...,
Too close now for bow,
I brandish my spear,
Two more down that came too near,
A man without fear,
I pull my sword,
Mouthing a prayer to the Lords of War,
Six quick slices and dices,
Six men sigh as they die,
The vultures and wolves will feast tonight,
I wipe my trusty blade and say,
"Ahhh...Today was a bloody good day..."

Valley Of Sorrow

Unprecedented paroxysym, undiminished pyramids....
Palisades engulfed in complete despondency....
Encompassing totality, exhaustive transparency.....
Storms of rain...
Ingrained in pain...

Thoughtless provocations...
Without remorse...
Meticulous totality taking its course...
No resolution...
Complete absolution...
Blessed are those who dwell in the valley of sorrow....

Smile

I think of you and smile wide,
But every smile is only a lie,
To hide the hurt I feel inside,
Sleepless nights and tired eyes,
I think about you all the time,
I think of you and only cry,
I think of you and want to die,
I thought of you and wrote this rhyme,
Smiling the entire time...

Nowhere Man

He's the nowhere man
He got empty hands,
He's the nowhere man
He got no real plans.

He don't know how to live
He knows nothing of dreams,
He got nothing to give
No real offerings,

He is one who tempts
Fate all his days,
But he never worries
He just says,

I'll spend till I'm broke
Live till I croak,
I'm just a bloke
Without a future or hope,

I'm the nowhere man
Livin' in no mans' land,
It's my world made of sand
I got no definite plans.

DARKNESS IN ME

There's a distant thunder inside, it breathes the morning dew
subsides in the night
It is a lily that comes to life in the darkness,
The echoes it cries is from afar
With embers burning deep
The darkness in me
Is exotic as a wild mustang that lives to run free,
Shadows fall and beckon like the moon to the tides
Full of mystery lies inside
Secret doors and hidden passages
The darkness in me
Is riding high through out the night,
like a spirit in flight
It knows no fear or has no soul mates
The darkness in me

UPON LOVES ALTAR

The fullness of your lips
Taste of forever on tongue

Apple of my eye lost
Inside of you

Have laid me on death's bed
For the folly

Storm rages in my heart
For love has gone

My foothold fails
To the frozen ground I fall

Seeking for my lover
Bleeding

For the snow numbs me
From your jagged edge

The rider comes to
Hold claim

To the froze withered lily
That blooms nomore

The Voices

“What is it like,” with hushed breath asked
“To be surrounded by the dead?
The work you do, so much death see
It chills me to the bone.”

“Listen close you’ll hear their voices
Crying out loud and clear
We are innocent, we have suffered
Our life has been cut so short.”

“Hear our voices as we cry for justice
Don’t let us rot in lonely grave
Our killers walk the streets of freedom
No remorse for crimes they did commit.”

“Listen, listen. They are calling
I’m the one to give them peace
Find the clues, pierce together
In the end truth will prevail.”

Dark time

Dark time

Its getting cold at night ,
No more stars in the sky,
I'm getting old tonight,
Dark time at our doorstep.

Sun getting feisty and bright,
Love can be bought online,
Nowadays we live to fight,
Our world is filling up with lies.

Do you feel this pain inside,
Can you even smile or cry,
Things cost more today,
And our salaries coming late.

Mobile phones running our lives,
Human stocks sold for a dollar,
Say a word and you are gone,
Peace doesn't stay very long.

God is missing in action,
Is he real or is he dead?
Genie has come to make a deal,
Sell your soul with the best offer!

Why are morning buses so cold?
And thirteen corpses filling one room,
Siren video songs filling our ears,
But the world won't read my poem!

I will still warn you,
Don't stop your prayers dude,
Believe in our weakest link,
In saving us and the human race.

Cardboard Nation and sleeping bag homes

Our governments say the world is rich
With all the information we need at our fingertips
They marvel at our majestic rise
From living in caves and fearing fire
To living in luxury and material things our only desire

When you walk along our busy streets
The bright lights and funky art
The smile's the laughter to which you are part

You walk along in such a rush
Your part of the great city push
Everywhere you look you see nice cafe's or city bars
The hotel with the front so plush

I ask you now to press pause
To slow right down and look around
I ask you to open your eyes and maybe you will see

The cardboard nation we try to forget
The one our government looks upon with regret
Sleeping bags home's a population laid bare
They have now cafe's or funky art
Just blood and urine soaked corners in which they sleep

Feces stain their cardboard homes
The smell of human decay fill their nose
A feeling of negligent a feeling of being depressed
Is cured by a drug filled blast
In the shape of a can, bottle or syringe
A feeling of hope but it does not last

Now people say it is their choice
Or maybe they are on government list
People say it is their habits that brought them here
And they are hooked on gear

Some things said might be true
But who are you, who am to cast judgment in this way
I would like to think that every human has a right to their own say
And all I ask is this
That you add these people to your mind list

This is part of our population all the same
Just because they are homeless they should not be treated inhumane
I am not asking you all to give money away
I am asking that you don't judge, spite or urinate
For it is just vile to treat a human being that way.
