The Fool

I am the fool,
and so life is a long, arduous journey.
The left, more difficult road I choose.
No one leads me here, I am proud and alone,
and now, here in this place of desolation
a cloud of doubt and indecision covers me,
smothers me and yet it comforts me like home.
My familiar, unyielding ghetto of fear and nothingness
beckons me, welcomes me, but I have stayed too long
and I can no longer escape this sanctum of misery
and malcontent that surrounds me, diminishing my
very life, the basest of lives, for I live a life beneath
contempt, yet undeterred I walk this difficult path and
live this pitiful life knowing there was much more
destined for me had I but chosen the right,
I am the the fool.

burning love

this world
in a state
of confusion
upside down
in no mans land
love eternal flame
blossoming red
flames on fire
with the rays
a red setting sun

burning deep
hot pokers
inside this heart
power of another
hangs one's destiny
crossing the dead sea
flickering shadows
smoldering ashes
in dreams
staring into
an empty space

opening the windows
of my soul
misted emotions fall
loving someone
beyond everything
drowning in pain
one gulp a time
slipping away
dealing with
the heart's hurt
this nightmare
holds pain within

awaiting light
of the morning sun
dawning of life
carrying dark shadows
in ghosts of loved ones
until we meet again
love never leaves
we get hurt
within loves emotion

When Nothing Remains

Embedded image from another site

The world is on standby awaiting for a hero to come save the day
For an end of an era or the beginning of change
Some believe in revolution while some say we're already near the end
But the one thing I'm assured of is death will come by our own hand
Building war machines and then honoring the dead
Is there really a chance for salvation or is this just in our heads
Some believe we will be saved by little green men from outer space
As others kneel before Gods and at the dinner table say grace
While science tries to teach us we're just monkeys that learned to become men
And since the first discovery of fire we've let it consume our compassion
Now we're just religious and atheist primates that stopped throwing our own shit
Instead we created bigger bombs and sell guns to little kids
And don't get involved with prophesies made by ancient civilization
It doesn't take rocket science to predict obvious observation
Death doesn't wear a mask and he doesn't wear a black robe
He is not the harvester of sorrow or the harvester of souls
He doesn't wield a bloody scythe and he doesn't ride a dark horse
He looks just like me and you, could we be so oblivious
Its two minutes until midnight our inevitable doom
But if I could set the clock backwards I would spend more time with you
Aliens and angels, gods and demons rising from hell
The fact is that we're capable of killing and destroying ourselves
Long before tidal waves and meteors wipe away the tears of our hurt
We'll already lay in a shallow grave of un shoveled ashed earth
Millennia's of collecting knowledge is our wisdom arrogance or just ignorant
A world ran by greedy politicians and ruled by dumbfounded dip shits
Maybe we are just monkeys yet to evolve into a more advanced race
But evolution has little chance as long as man has a face
As long as we hold desires the pipers song will always be the same
But who wins the battle when nothing remains

Sobering

Embedded image from another site

The easiest way to disappear
is to pretend I don't have much to say
But then words get trapped inside my head
like a parasite eating away my brain
As I stand on the edge of darkness
I feel consumed with guilt as I'm coming down
And this is how it feels to break a part
when I shatter from finally hitting the ground
So this is where I am when my choices
are all left up to me
Its a sickness in need of a doctor
to prolong my bitter suffering
Lord I can hear your voice loud and clear
and I heard every single word you said
But I chose to live with the absence of You
not worried about paying the consequence
So now I'm just a reflection of who I was
standing on the other side of life
And the person that smashed the mirror with a fist
wants to let the person on this side die
Self medicated delusions I don't know
if my recovery has ever been so sincere
More of a cold sobering aspiration that I
throw away giving in to all my fears
So now I find out just how bad it hurts without
the supplements of bottled years
Restore me to who I know I can be
and chip away these frozen sobering tears

rear fang

Crawling lies
like a snake
in ambushing
You bite me
on the back

Nesting asleep
On the chest
The circle of life
Searching the warmth within,

upon the heat
Crocodile tears
Wiped away my smile
Coldness in what you done

Sinking the fangs
From the darkness
off your soul
Deep into my heart

The blood turns black in lies
In the multitude of sins,
biting in the back
Through venomous words
Poisoning the mind

Killing me slowly
Apple in the eye
Totally
Without doubt
Rotten

Black

Embedded image from another site

When my darkness felt light it was never again satisfied
Until it swallowed the sun leaving my hope endless nights
My eyes affixed upon the brilliant silver light of the moon
But the same nothing wanted a taste until it too was consumed
As I wished upon stars burning like candles in the sky
Blood from my hand touches canvas of white
With my heart I made sand castles for tides to wash away dreams
Behind the echoes of never was the quietness of never will wants to be
Focussing on whispered silhouettes adjusting to night
The pilots soul searches deeper through the curiosity inside
Shadows rise and fall while some enchantingly danced around
Illuminating a golden annulus then dressing the demon in his gowns
Softly my fingers trace a path across sandblasted skin
Releasing a sigh igniting the dead flesh from my sins
Haloed angels stare upon the creation of a pieced together life
Fankenstein takes away innocence killing his virgin bride
Devouring constellations, burning heaven, and freezing hell
The empty voids of darkness must have won, because black is all I felt

The Beginning (Part 1)

Words flowing as sweet wine to crystal flute
Lips caressing sweetest fruit from the vine
All sense of conversation seems so moot
Grapes turning into raisins before eyes
Is it the destination where dreams die
A place where clouds form to hold mighty rein
A place where dignity can hold head high
Sometimes victory is not a pleasure
Words no longer needed all has been placed
Silence echoing as if loud thunder
Slowly out of the mist rises the erased
And what was is no longer, nor will be
Like a birth of a new innocent life
Forming union of devil and his wife

Phantoms

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----
Following a new direction letting these pages lead the way
From the beginning of my existence to where I find my final resting place
Swallowing a shade of colors to give flavor to a tasteless life
As I open up my insides and reject the poisoned lies
Then I listen to the whispers becoming such a sweet melody
Finding a new understanding of my demons soliloquies
Conquering the reflections of a mask worn in denial
Dividing his deception with a dismal smile
And as a mountain that stands before me its heights I will overcome
Climbing out from the shadows of me standing in my own sun
So I close my eyes and disappear just to see Your perfect face
Me standing against the phantoms in their darkest hiding place

A WARNING

The rhythm of life
mirrors those famous daffodils
swaying to the tune of the wind.
Bending without breaking.
Needing only the sun and breeze.

Homo sapiens, a different breed.
Forever wanting this and that.
Having through time
developed an overwhelming greed.
Grey no trace of soft yellows.

All will sadly end one day.
Not so the yellow daffodils.
The fields will be full
with their gentle rhythms,
the swaying of golden heads
in the breeze of life.

wish i wasnt me

and i am me
but who am i really?
a child raped of innocence
refused to lay in shadows
of other ones sins.

and i am me
but who am i really?
im the one that carried you all
dispite the weight
i never let you fall.

and i am me
but who am i really?
im the one that said your not alone
i opened my doors, shelterd you a home.

i am the one
everyones tower of strenght
everyones and anyones
but myself.

but who am i really
i am no one but just i
the weight has burden my little shoulders
yet i cant and won't cry....

BECAUSE ITS ME & thats me.
