I wouldnt if you didnt

Forgive me for the sadness
And the bringing of you down
I just needed a lover, I needed a friend
and there you were.
Running from forever like all the rest.

These floods of you are unforgiving.
Pushing passed me spilling through the banks,
And I fall.
Lost in you like saturday nights
Searching the streets with bedroom eyes.

Everything you were is fiction,
everything you are is fiction.
And if you see me chin down and toungue tied,
this is all i have to offer.

It was in my head & I saw the truth
Torn apart by love again.
Remains of ghosts are all I've felt

I am the last romantic

I haven't anything...

Staring at the noose with lust in my eyes
Shades of blue black and red

darkness

emptiness fills me as darkness draws near
its hard to escape the pain and the fear
im running on empty im trying to keep up
its taking its toll i wanna give up
i look for the strength to go on from within
its not going to beat me its not going to win
so into the darkness i go but i fight
into the darkness is where i seek out the light

Extreme flatline

Driving through the night, street lights, strobe lights
mesmerised.A loud noise "bang" the lights have gone
out,can`t see nothing,can`t feel nothing,engine is still
running but i am not moving.

Voices,i hear voices"OMG has anyone got a phone, call
emergency"
Wah,wah wah wah sirens in the distance getting
closer,and closer.
More voices,a voice of command,"Move aside
please, break out the cutting equipment"
More sirens approach, this is so surreal helicopter rotors
overhead, glass breaking, metal cutting,a voice calls out
"morphine open up the air way"[it`s so far away from me]
Right; lift,i get the sensation of being transported, rotors
running.More voices,running feet,no more rotors,moving
fast ,echoes within a corridor.Voice "crash team"
I Am moving in an upward direction, whilst looking down
on myself.People in gowns milling around, intense lights
shining over this theatre of dreams.Another bright light
behind.
A voice call`s out "clear"my body jerks through shock,i
turn to the light behind, images floating towards me
How can this be,i turn back to see a fine golden thread
binding our heads together.
"Clear" my body spasm's once again forming an arch
screens light up,blip blip blip.I am drawn closer, and
closer.I turn to the light behind, images are fading, hands
are beckoning me toward them. It`s so beautiful,i don`t
want to go back.I am getting closer and further away."so
close i just cant see"
Voices "Adrenalin"i see a syringe plunged into my heart,i
am drifting back into the light which is now intense.
The shadowed images of family and friends are coming to
greet me,
There`s my mama and papa, arms outstretched.
I look down, the screens have gone blank, and one
voice.
"CALL IT 03:27"
The golden thread has been severed.

Prisoner of the Chill

The room mirrors the owner cold as ice,
Nothing to salvage cause no item would suffice.
He sits against the wall facing the frozen bars,
His heart behind them held back like what a red light does to cars.
Eyes bluer than usual from the stare even while his hand shakes,
Above the hammer which he planned to use after he debated the stakes.
His blood slows as his empty chest relaxes leaving him still,
Unable to shake the thoughts as it weighs heavily on his will.

Lussica

Her eyes glowing green with devilish gleam
Tilting her head obeying master’s calls
Beware her stare cuts like a laser beam
Her thick raven hair around her face falls

She howls like the wind on a stormy night
Prowling the dark shadows on the back streets
Drifting like a ghost in and out of sight
Desires a mans soul like a cut of meat

Utter her name will cause such fear to rise
So evil her ways are hard to believe
What only a lonely heart can surmise
Many men of the night she will deceive

So when you go out on a one-night fling
Take greatest care to know what she might bring

Your Highness

'Your Highness' says he as he bows low to the ground
So low that his forehead almost scrapes it
'I am but your utter most humble servant
To do what benefits and pleases your gloryness'
These words he spoke so slippery and oily
That should you step on them you would surely slip
"Yes, yes I know that you're here to serve me
To grant my wishes as I ask, nay my demands
But what I ask is your reward for service such as this"
'A trifling, a whimsy, mere bagatelle, not much at all
This paper sign, it gives me right to something
Something worth nothing at all, not even a cent
It is merely your soul, it is of no use to you
To be honest it's of no use to me, but you see
They look good on my mantle piece and there they sit
So really you see, I give so much to you
And take but nothing of any worth in return
There is the deed, here is the pen, sign on the line'
The man pondered, eyes glinting with greed
To have the world at his feet, Emperor of all around
The pen he took, signed his name, done was the deed
'A wise choice, the world will know your name
All will tremble and all will fear, yours is the world'
One last bow and one last scrape and gone in a puff
Left behind was a sulphur stench and smoke in the air

A HEAD FULL OF WORDS

I write the words that come into my head....How many will i write before i am dead...And after im gone will they be read...And did they all mean might well be said....Word after word comes spilling out...Some with meaning and some without...And i often wish pen and paper would run out...And the words in my head would no longer spill out....jw

hush silence now

quiet now - HUSH, silence the flight
hold it all in close your mind
soften the destruction in your eyes
pray that no one can see the lies
stifle the yearning inside of me
stop wishing that they will finally see
HUSH - then the drowning begins
you feel the waves of the relentless sea
just let the water keep crashing over me
coldness comes settling in like a frozen mist
dence and heavy - petend its ok - decieve yourself
today say you are fine let them hear it
HUSH - its dark now, you will survive you always do
lock the pain away like a jewel in a box
only to be lost & forgot
why do you torture yourself so
the saddest eyes they will ever know
you draw them in but they can't stay
its not their fault that they are this way
your obsessed and you push them to their depth
and whats there is more real then they will ever know
So HUSH now let them go.......

Are you real?

Is there someone out here with me?
In the distance i can not see.
Is my mind playing tricks on me?
I look around and hear the noise
not a person do i see out here
in the dark with me.
Noises here and noises there but
not a person anywhere.
Is my mind playing with me yet
how can that be.
It seems i see a shadow but no
one near me how can that be.
Where is this person at?
I guess it is all in my mind
from time to time.

swing set

outside the children play
ignorant of deeds today
the laughter of their game
puts the sweetest sound to shame

the young wife cleans about the house
whislt the cat plays with the mouse
he gambols on a beam of sun
mouse escapes, game is done

but in the closet, fate shall wait
a crying boy full of hate
and fear and tears that scream for aid
no one hears, fate has been weighed

and the youth is to heavy on the scale
for fate is using the very frail
balance to judge his time, is up
water spilling from fates cup

a livid grin and a short drop
a jerking twist, a sudden stop
and in the kitchen the young wife sweeps
and the next room over, death creeps

a child comes in for a drink
and stops a moment just to think
about his brother up the hall
not knowing about the fatal fall

he opens the door and is greeted by
a livid smile and a blank eye
and to his knees the child drops
and outside the childerns laughter...stops
