Where can I run

Where can I run
That you cannot find me
Tell me where I can I go
That you cannot follow
I run away but you always find me
I am yours you say and we will never part

Broken promises are my daily portion
Black eyes and broken ribs are your gifts
Pretty flowers are always your apologies
Your Tender kisses request forgiveness

Last night you promised not to hurt me
Like a fool I believed you once again
Now I lay in the morgue, lying lifeless
Our baby unborn but you never knew

If I had been brave enough to run
Just one last time
Maybe I would have avoided this fate
This man of mine who promised to love me
This man of mine became my biggest mistake

Now I have gone where no one can follow
Now I have gone where no one can find

emotions

my chest is burning
like a volcano
the pain melting my heart
torn between love and hate
love that still prevails
this crash in my life
left an awful scar
in words that have wisdom
earth,moon and stars
you are amongst them
mars is my planet
alone blind and cruel
was not my intention
to you my love

Dark Poetry

We think of dark as the color black.

We often become afraid within ourself.

Dark sometimes brings out what is from within ourself.

When it becomes too dark we run.

Darkness is just the darker shade of gray.

Do not run from dark as dark closes within you.

Witches and caves, bats, and deep darkness into the night.

Do not be afraid it soon will be light.

As dark turns away to daylight. The thing to dark is not to run.

To believe or not to believe, that's the question

Is this poetry I just read,
No just a dubious fallacy,
Insidious is only a claim,
To a marvelous unknown outside!

Knowing does not equate understanding,
What do I know about knowledge?
Even scientists do stupid things,
How much more for a common man?

Would you call your best friend,
A liar for seeing or hearing strange things,
If they say they saw a dead man walking,
They must be crazy in their head!

Would you mock and make fun,
Of the people you really care,
when they say to you what they saw,
Aliens, monsters or even a live dinosaur!

Then there are the third world superstitions,
Urban legends and arcane curses,
Magic users fighting with mystical creatures,
Are these just mere illusions or real?

What if the ones who've seen it,
Are the very ones you look up to,
Are they crazy or its just a nightmare,
Now what if it was not them but you!

--Imperfection--

(crs);
Our bodies are susceptible to sickness & decay.
Your forced to run away when I know you want to stay.
Your own evil longing's temp you everyday,
They pull you down, lead you on & drag you away,
They say to go with them & in the end you'll be okay.

Get to the drug,
as the drug gets into you,
I'm an ugly bug,
rip the insect into two,
infect the love with the sick blood,
& tell me you want to be,
next to my side,
holding me tightly.
Drown to the sound of us moaning fiercely,
I pry.
Fire play.
We lay together & drift away forever...

(crs)

Watch as the sun plunges down around us,
answer the question,
don't lie,
don't fuss,
moments of truth like these hurt intensely,
internally weak with intent to speak,
formally known as a strong being,
my body is bleeding,
clenching my heart,
dreading madly...
...that you'll neglect...
...& abandon me.

Skins

Embedded image from another site

The skin fits so perfect, exactly my size
Still warm and moist and so supple
Slowly I pull it on, first the legs
Ever so carefully so as not to damage it

Up over my hips and towards my chest
Slip in my arms and shrug it over my shoulders
Last of all it goes over my head and face
A slight adjustment to correct the fit

Azalia stitches up the openings in the skin
When she and Raul have fitted their skins
I will assist them by stitching them in
It won’t be long we will all be in our new skins

The pleasure I feel as I run my hands over it
It is indescribable, so soft and tender
Only a short while ago they were wearing them
Now they hang there, blood pooling on the floor

They are still alive, they will be for some time yet
It has taken years of practice to become this good
To skin them and still have them alive at the end
I have lost count how many we have skinned

Great care must be taken not to damage the skin
To make the least amount of cuts to remove it
The base of the skull to remove the headpiece
A cut along the spine allows the rest of the skin to part

The screams go right through you, such a pleasure
While Azalia was skinning a few times she fell to the floor
Her pleasure was so great that she was overcome
She has always been a very passionate person

They are no longer screaming, now they just moan
How sad that they are going to be dead soon
If there was only a way I could prolong their agony
How sweet it is, they are being sacrificed for our pleasure

Tonight we will make love in our new skins
We have a few days before the sweet smell of decay
Eventually we will have to remove them as they perish
There comes a point when they are no longer as exciting

Then we will once again begin our hunt through the nights
There are so many alleys and byways where it is dark
It won’t take us long to find new quarry, no-one will miss them
They are all out there, all just for our pleasure

Why did you do what you did to me when I was a kid

I try to understand, why you smiled and held my hand and then took it all away
And you did day after day, what made you hate me that way?
What did I do? I didn’t hate you; in fact the opposite was true!
Tell me please, why did you do what you did to me when I was a kid?

You didn’t just hurt me, it was everyone I came into contact with you see
From that moment on my life was all gone, I want to understand
I became an infection spreading your deception, hurting all that came close
So please tell me, why did you do what you did to me when I was a kid?

Don’t tell me it was because it was done to you, because we both know that is not true
You did it to me and I didn’t do it to my family
So come on spit it out, I spent my life not knowing whether to hate or not
Come on tell me what made you? Why did you do what you did to me when I was a kid?

When I younger than now, I played with a rope but I was lucky it broke
I took up a knife and started to slice, you did that to me!
What made you that way, they say you will always be that way and nothing can change it
I really do want to understand, why did you do what you did to me when I was a kid?

It happens all the time behind closed doors, kept quiet so no one will know
We see it all in the papers and news but that’s just Hi Vis, tip of the iceberg
Its people like you that are kept secret behind family walls, the majority
Why?
You took so much away, I still live with it to this day
So please tell me, why did you do what you did to me when I was a kid?

3 AM

Woman,
it is 3 AM
where are you?

Do you know
what it is like
stretched across a bed

alone at 3 AM
waiting for you
staring at the moon?

The clock ticks,
the moon rolls
over rooftops and disappears...

I drive to look for you,
nothing but closed signs
in windows with faceless mannequins...

Red lights and stop signs,
basket people about,
still no you...

So, I text you and no reply,
I drove back home
to greet the god of wine...

A bottle later,
still no you...

Undead

It eats,
Men and beasts,
Feasts on the meat,
Sweet raw flesh,
Smelling of death,
Evil overpowering
Ripe rancid breath,
Chewing and swallowing,
Till nothing's left,
A shell like itself,
With no life behind
blind blank eyes,
How can one kill
what has already died?

The Jury (Part 2)

They had prayed for a change to all their gods
Side by side they waited good holding bad
Not knowing which God would answer their cries
Not treasuring what they already had
A contradiction of one another
They had called back an abomination
A power so strong without no end
Essence without permanent foundation
Good verse evil within one entity
Each knowing but willing to take the chance
Releasing twilight upon barren days
Where evil and good will soon bare romance
Mere mortals holding only to release
The beginning of their Armageddon
