Though I walk through
the shadow of death,
Though icy fingers claw at my chest,
Yea trying to steal my very breath,
I will not rest,
I travel on,
Though all hope of hope is gone,
And things have gone so awful wrong,
I travel on,
Through the saddest of dreary days,
Though the maze is a foggy haze,
I travel on...

It gets so hard sometimes I don't want to face life
As I impatiently wait for my time to rise
So much anger and hatred built up inside
As I look to the heavens and as my God WHY
Sometimes I wish I could hold the sun in my hand and make time stand still
Because reality harsh and it grips my fear
But from cradle to grave I have to stand strong
No more standing in line it's time to move on
MOVE ON…..!

Because every moment is precious
And everything I love will turn to dust

This last one left my insides aching,
Head and chest thumping
To the point of breaking,
Bickering about failed relations,
There was a heated conversation ...,
" Wow heart!" ,
My brain had concluded,
"You are so gullible ,
So very stupid..."
My heart beat harder,
Pumping more fluid,
"Up yours brain !,
I know what I'm doing!,
You know it all,
You never listen,
Everything's you say is fiction!",
Answering back my mind was livid,
"Oh and you think you know women?,
I only make calculated decisions,
Based on facts that I've been given,
You just blindly trust and jump,
It's your fault we hurt so much..."

I'm scared of not having enough money
I'm scared my car will break down on the highway

I'm scared of my parents
I'm scared of going outside

I'm scared of drunk drivers
I'm scared of bullies
I'm scared of people with tattoos
I'm scared of people with beards
I'm scared of my landlord
I'm scared of Bigfoot
I'm scared of humiliation
I'm scared of my class of 1987
I'm so scared I feel like my heart will burst
I'm having stomach aches and I feel crazy from the fear
I hope tomarrow I won't be scared

crawling over the light,
death inside dark
the horrors of hell,
standing the hair
upon my head

open mouthed
I screamed from the inside
no words found you

just the sound
of teardrops,
silence screams
inside the pain
why hurt me

a chill upon the shadows
my heart dies,
mourning you
in the crime of loving

my soul gives me an answer
marking the end
of you and I,
death in my heart
flowing dark waters

like the mother sea
I push forth
your dead remains,
on the shores
upon the sand

the tide washes away
forgiving you the sin,
from the deepest chambers
I bolt and lock

barring you forever
deep within
locked in hurt
buried

Merman roars from the top of his lung's,
to the thundering dark clouds
Across his sky,
in severe whistling,
my head bows in your shame

In the tune of change
As my ocean swells,
you begin to rip
the insides out of me

A mermaid from hell
Eyes left me in the dark,
snarling white fangs'
shark like
barricade of emptiness

Ugly words bite
Deep into the pain,
each lash of the tongue
Like you savour in pleasure
Mouth ripping deep

Distorted ugly lies
As the poison drips
Out of the foul mouth
Becoming a vile beast

Hell with you
The heart withers,
dying one time beauty
Cracks in the ache,
wounded severely

Light, I look to you
Loves holy name speaks,
one time my little mermaid
To the wicked ways
You escaped hell,

one of your creations
Love in me disappeared,
wishing on me
The torment,
my heart for you
Died

If you're reading this
I'm no longer around

when life is tricky
you gamble cares
so I slid down
the apples and pears

my rent was due
and life got cheap
finance drove off
with my off road sheep

my dog had died
and that was that
he started a fight
with a mean take that

to the uptown grill
for food and drink
the place was nice
at least I think

over a cold one
she got me hot
I liked her legs
I liked her alot

suddenly a party
arrived at my back
a blow to my head
and my world went black

so in this place
I met my end
a shallow grave
with a gun for a friend

and on this note
my lighter sang
I took last breath
and heard the bang

Profess their way, follow what they say,
And what you believe , well, it’s up to you,
But no one cares, because nothing is true,
It can all change in a heartbeat, because
Someone talks from a higher seat,
But be aware, for in this world I see,
Don’t ever say, because you will be,
the guilty party!

I laid down in my bed
My head hurt
My vision blurry
No one to hear my story
I fell asleep for two days
Woke up in a haze
was it a dream
Or my reality
No more sunshine
Dark clouds
Linger above my head
I could t seem to fit
Into this world
I couldn’t sing and dance
The laughter stuck in my throat
No more tears
Nothing left but fear
This isn’t a dream
This is my reality

Gone as the colors faded
The cold clouds departed
Cast in shadows is the darkness
Where no mind rests as much as death

Where have all the rainbows gone
When morning weeps like tears
As black as blue becomes
So becomes life without you
As gray as day becomes night
I’m begging you to come home
