Apparently, there were blocked toilet bowls overflowing with paper, dirty this that and the other around the rooms and a couple are so bad they are unrentable today.
I can only assume that these kids were not taught to respect others' properties.
This is not really a Single Parent issue, but its the nearest catergory I could find.
Just clocked on for work, and heard about the craziness caused by a bunch of youngsters that were here for a hockey game. From what I could see last night, they were around the ages of 15-17. All boys.
Apparently, and dont shoot the messenger, they caused mayhem last night and early this morning in the resort; loud noise, crashing around over grassy areas, and leaving garbage all over outside their rooms. The housekeeping staff also report the worst mess they have ever seen in rooms, and the coach's room was one of the worst. The term "Dogs" was mentioned.
So, my question is this: do you think that younger people these days should be held more accountable for their actions? I completely understand that these kids were here for a good time and a great game, but from what I understand the rooms were trashed. The poor housekeepers were run ragged today cleaning up after them.
Do you think kids should be taught more responsibility, or left to run riot?
I find it most interesting that a bunch of people, who were not even embryotic cursors in the history of this forum and therefore have no idea whatsoever who Stress is, take the opportunity to turn a pleasant thread into yet another complaining about complaining thread.
When I was younger, I was probably more of a Liberal. Now I am a little older, I would tend to sway more toward either Center or Right.
I think its because as one gets older, one appreciates the more traditional values more, I dont know.
I am not a big political animal, but do like to keep in touch with what is going on. I used to vote in the UK, but am not yet eligible to do so here. I am still trying to get my head around the complexitities of the US system!
Furthermore, I was going to hide your comment, but I wanted to keep it up as a perfect example of somone feeling guilty. Why else, would you jump onto a particular comment within seconds, when you havent contributed anything previously whatsoever in this thread.
Further, before it is pushed down to far, a perfect example of pathetic internet mentality was to be found on the Say Anything thread last night. Unfortunately, the question were removed by the mods, after I report the thread but the posters are still visible.
Some people to have got the wrong idea about this thread, or have decided to deliberately take it a certain way. Just to make it clear, peeps can take it or leave the advice, it is not a creed to live by. Just attempting to give the benefit of my experience.
Accountability and Responsibility
Exactly, BB.I am all for having a good time, but when it verges on criminal damage, it is going too far.
