Sometimes I like to lead, sometimes I like to follow!
It depends on the scenario at hand.
If you are asking the question in general, that's difficult to answer. In a relationship, it is best to share those qualities I think; recognize when your partner is in a stronger position to take the lead, and when you are.
There should'nt be a leader or a follower as a matter of course; the trick is recognizing who is best placed to do what, when and then work together.
Neither do I, and thats why I answered the gentleman from Ireland earlier in this thread as I did.
The Irish community is huge here, as you know and they love it. So, it therefore baffles and disappoints me when I see so much hatred spewed from Irish mouths toward the US.
You have missed the process of events there. One of the reasons the Irish were welcomed into the States back then was BECAUSE of their hard work, stoic characters and willingness to embrace new cultures. And welcomed they were...
I certainly agree with some of your points, and my irritation is not with what you say or the fact that some of American Policy sucks.
My irritation is with characters who whinge and moan about US involvement in ANYTHING, and then ALSO whinge and moan when they decide not to do anything.
Especially Irish people, who without the support of the US in the past would perhaps not be living in a Free Ireland now. They need to get a grip, really they do.
I am really damn tired of people who spout links from sources when it suits them, and then denounce other links from similar sources when it doesnt.
The press, both US and international, the internet and various publications (which are all biased in one direction or another of course) have all been used by all sides to attempt to make their points.
In addition, this thread is not about 9-11 and neither was my post. It refered to Bin Laden and the bashing the US has again received for DOING THE RIGHT THING.
He was a threat, he was dangerous to many countries in the Western World (not just the States, but they were the only ones with the balls to take him out), and his killing is a blessing to all peace-loving folk, both Christian and Muslim.
People just LOVE conspiracy theories: they are SO much more exciting than the boring old truth, and it gets really old after a while.
They prefer to sit in judgement of a nation who eliminated a national security threat in accordance with international law, put their troops at risk to do so and were prepared to put their head in the noose and take the flak.
You know NOTHING about what happened two years ago. You know NOTHING about the amount of fake profiles set up over the last 2 years to cause damage to me and my husband. You know NOTHING as regard the situation with Hess, who, I repeat is a friend of mind and my husband, is in our FB friends lists and who admitted to me, in private email that she HAD GOT IT WRONG.
You know NOTHING about the stalking, and the battering some of us got.
You really are an arrogant, ill-informed immature individual, who needs to grow up, stop thinking you know the whole story and get a life.
There are extreme factions in all so-called "terrorist" groups; that does not always make their group's initial cause evil. Only the fanatic factions do that.
