Oops, thats my quota already..

RE: Charcoal or Gas for barbecue

Gas, generally, because its just cleaner and there is no scraping out the grill after.

But the charcoal is good for the taste! I saw something on TV the other day that looked interesting; some charcoal plate thingies that go on top of the gas grill and still gives the food that smokey taste.

Might look into that..hmmm idea

RE: wise minds required!

Your skin problem could be made worse by stress, and the fact that you are drinking lots of milk and thereby gaining the bulk you were after may mean that you are less "stressed" and the improvement in your skin is a grand coincidence.

Have you had it diagnosed as acne?

RE: Choose between a traditional marriage (death do you part) or a five year renewable contract.

Totally agree. thumbs up

Thats not commitment, thats hedging your bets.

If you are not 100% sure before you get married, you shouldnt get married at all.

Circumstances change, and things happen of course, but if its not based in the beginning on complete trust and willingness to make it work its on a losing wicket from the start.

Its not all "My Way or the Highway". Compromise is key.

RE: Choose between a traditional marriage (death do you part) or a five year renewable contract.

To me, marriage is marriage. A commitment.

I will stay married for as long as I am happy, and my partner is happy. Which hopefully, will be for a long time.

No Contract, traditional or otherwise would change that.

RE: opening up /being disappointed

Hi, my friend.wave

Well, for what its worth, Id say in general its better to leave the door open for contact and further communication.

I understand you are wary, and your right to be of anyone, but in time you will get to know them better and decide if they are right for you or not. Either as a potential partner, or just a pal.

You have to keep in mind HE might be feeling the same way, so as they say..."Slowly, Slowly, Catchy Monkey"..grin

RE: Freedom

I know what you mean, but I havent lost any freedoms, as such.

I can still do as I please, say what I please and go where I please. No different to when I was single.

I just PREFER to do many of those things with my partner. I dont believe I have lost anything at all; rather, I have gained a heck of a lot more.

RE: would you like to talk to an OLD flame 30 plus years later ?

No.

I tried that once, and it spoiled the good memories I had of him.

I would rather let the past be the past.
