I'm impressed with the ethos of this rescue organisation employing parolees.
Both the dogs and employees are getting a second chance at life, there'll be all sorts of mutual healing, the show will bring in much needed funds, provide entertainment, but also expose the general public to much maligned dogs and people thereby challenging discrimination.
It's all very synergistic and I like synergy a lot.
I'm so chuffed that everyone here is enjoying and contributing to this thread. Thankyou for supporting this wee nugget of joy and common ground with your stories, pics and kindness.
Where I used to live I'd hear foxes every night despite my deafness. It was one of my greatest joys in life hearing all the different calls.
Where I'm living now is all mountains and very little woodland. I was living here for a year before hearing a fox, but it seems the local population may have grown this mating season.
I heard a couple this evening from my kitchen window. The local kids have got a small trampoline in the communal garden, so happen they were having a go.
Animal Rescue...
I guess it depends on whether Kitty paid attention in maths class, or not.
