Love & Pain

" The pain comes in wanting things. " -Buddha
That is so very true. Man's survival is always based in Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
At 49. I have a different perspective of love for a significant other. If I can survive without that person. That is not love. Just a fascination from a curious mind. About human interaction. It is different when you can not live without that person no matter what. The presence of pain or heartache is a sign to stay safe & welcome change. Most people can't accept rejection. It leads in stagnation. Preventing GOD'S assigned partner for them. Just let go easily. Do not linger in the moment of wanting someone or something. For me happiness is a state of mind. If I serve my purpose in someone's life. I let go. Life is a constant change along with time.heart beating

Job interview done!

My major interview was today. Yesterdays interview was just a short one, while today was the interview, that will determine if I get the job or not.

I had to complete some tests again. The first one was where i had to answer 16 questions. On that test, I had 93.33% correct, which put me at the top. The second test was designed to calculate my WPM. I ended with 56 WPM with 2 spelling errors, which landed me in the top 5% of results.

Next followed a series of questions, where I was asked about previous jobs. How I handled stress, how I was as a person and how I approach my job.

The entire interview was little less than an hour long, and it ended with the interviewer saying, that she didn't think I would have any issues with the job. That makes me think, that I am in with a very real shot of securing employment on a full time basis. The salary is also pretty good, which allows me to save up for a new place to live!

Fingers crossed that I will hear some positive news back from them! They said tomorrow or Monday at the latest!

What is your own value?

A man went to God and asked, “What is my value?”
God gave him one stone and said, “Find out the value of this stone, but don’t sell it.”
The man took the stone to an Orange Seller and asked him what it’s cost would be.
The Orange Seller saw the shiny stone and said, “You can take 12 oranges and give me the stone.”
The man apologized and said that the God has asked him not to sell it.
He went ahead and found a vegetable seller. “What could be the value of this stone?” he asked the vegetable seller. The seller saw the shiny stone and said, “Take one sack of potatoes and give me the stone.”
The man again apologized and said he can’t sell it.
Further ahead, he went into a jewellery shop and asked the value of the stone.
The jeweller saw the stone under a lens and said, “I’ll give you 50 Lakhs for this stone.” When the man shook his head, the jeweller said, “Alright, alright, take 2 crores, but give me the stone.”
The man explained that he can’t sell the stone. Further ahead, the man saw a precious stone’s shop and asked the seller the value of this stone.
When the precious stone’s seller saw the big ruby, he lay down a red cloth and put the ruby on it. Then he walked in circles around the ruby and bent down and touched his head in front of the ruby.
“From where did you bring this priceless ruby from?” he asked. “Even if I sell the whole world, and my life, I won’t be able to purchase this priceless stone.
Stunned and confused, the man returned to the God and told him what had happened. “Now tell me what is my value, God?

God said, “The answers you got from the Orange Seller, the Vegetable Seller, the Jeweller & the Precious Stone’s Seller explain the value of our life… You may be a precious stone, even priceless, but people may value you based on their level of information, their belief in you, their motive behind entertaining you, their ambition, and their risk taking ability. But don’t fear, you will surely find someone who will discern your true value.”

In the eyes of God you are very very precious. Respect yourself. You are Unique. No one can Replace you!

Respect yourself..  Don’t undermine yourself.

Up the river...

If you've seen any old mobster movies (especially centered in New York City) you may have heard the idiom "Up the River" that was reference to someone sentenced to do time in prison.
The Hudson River runs north from New York city all the way through the state to just a few hundred miles from Montreal, Canada.
Roughly 50 miles north of Manhattan on the east coast of the Hudson, is a city named Ossining. It's there you will find Sing Sing Correctional Facility... Maximum-security prison.

"I was in court today and witnessed Bugsy's case. He's gonna be sent up the river making license plates for the next few years!"

It goes beyond what you already know...

The words ''Being Human''.Its something rather interesting isn't it?How in a mater of seconds you go about living your life one way then it changes. How is it that each day we go about the world we are given choices with the thoughts of what makes you happy,is this the right thing to do,what am i to gain or lose from it.The matter of just being you inside a world of other peoples dreams creates a nightmare all by itself. We do not ask to be born but we are and are given choices to what we are to become. How does one single human life live in such a place knowing their told they have control but really they do not.So as you read this ask yourself who are you really and what are you doing with your life. Then clear your mind forgetting everything you ever do with your life and ask yourself who are you really if you were given a blank space to really be who you are.Time is so unforgiving but what creates the single most worst thing to being human is the fear to ''Be You''.I say all this because your living your whole life within a very circle that you yourself never created but were made to think so.What if you were to go outside that circle would you be ready or be so scared you whouldnt want to even thou you could be the real you.

That is something for you my friend to think about...

Pardon boards, executive clemency, governor's expunge(ment?), presidential pardon....

Highest level of crime here is called a felony, but other languages have other names for same. There is a great difference betwen the USA, where these criminal records used to remain for life, adverely affecting job and other recovery prospects, ---and other places, where after a time, changes occur to allow reintergration into society. And changes have started even in this societal policy backwater. Now, in some States, after a decade or so, former criminals can vote, and have some other privledges. And some employers are encouraging applicants to honestly put such past info onto job apps, with more kindness, trust and openness to human changes than before. I think folks can redeem themselves in many ways, except those who have committed the most egregious sins. Such as our illegal criminal burdenson alien border sneaks. Go Trump!

our favourites,,,,

when we look in our ward robes ,how often do we choose our favourite shirt or blouse trousers or slacks ,
shoes are another thing where we have a pair that are so comfortable that they are a delight to wear,
and yet we never buy two ,
it is only after they have disappeared from the shops that we wish we had bought a second pair,
in reality most of the clothes and shoes that we buy , we very rarely wear,,
the same applies to your cooker why do we always choose the same gas ring or electric ring to cook on if only using one pot or pan,,
the same applies with driving to work or the shops ,,the same route taken time after time ,,
which in turn makes us creatures of habit or does it have to be this way,,
i always started my day with a cup of tea and later followed by coffee,,
but i changed my habit by alternating my morning drinks, and also changed my drive into the city and so i see and do things differently which actually makes the drive more enjoyable and not the hum drum that it used to be ,
it is surprising that small changes to the norm actually affect your senses and adds to your awareness ,,,

Envy, and jealousy...

Was going to write on sleep hygiene, or issues north and south/east and west, nationalism speaking, but C's blog got me coveting my CS neighbor's goods. A visit from the CS cyberscrutinizer? How unfair. With all my highly copious and acerbic ranting here, and not a few bidirectional personal attacks, on everything from my intelligence, to my stature, to my age appropriate shrinking manhood,----well, my envy almost got the best of me, my fair minded CS fellow bozos on the bus. So this BLOG. Don't you all think it unfair that I am being so cavalierly and unjustly overlooked? Why, for all I do to stirr things up here, and to get a few limited number of brain neurons French kissing, you'd think that CS would visit me. Not merely on the shamelessly lavishly appointed CS member home visit traveling van. But in the IT ether herself, AND a few nights on the manicured VIERK mansion kilometer long driveways. With all holds on the van chock full of wonderful and expensive presents, for..........................................ME! The servants would be glad to haul it all into one of the guest cottages. Ah, but long ago, in another life, concerning jealousies, I learned---that it's not a fair universe, and---"Eifersucht ist eine Leidenschaft,-wer mit Eifer sucht, was Leiden schaft". Hope this isn't the hook for the VIERK. Alors, Pereat les narcissismes, sur CS.

I know why I am grumpy.

I dawned on me today while I was heading home from work. I now know why I am this irritable mess. I know why I snapped and raged in my last blog.. I know what I must say, but I don't think I have the strength to acknowledge it. I am scared. That I would be considered a failure. That I am considered weak. But deep down inside, I KNOW I am not weak. I KNOW I am not a failure.. I guess I just have to say it:

I am a coca cola addict. I don't mean it in a funny way like "hurr I am such an addict to coca cola lol.".. I really mean it. I am an addict. How do I know I am an addict?

Well, these past few days, I have been consuming a LOAD of coca cola. Up to six 0.5 liter bottles a day. That is 3 liters of the stuff. Once I finish a bottle, I want another one straight away. That, in my book, is an addiction. I crave the taste of a cola. If I don't drink one each day, I feel terrible. It's because I need the sugar and the caffeine.

Tomorrow, I am gonna drink nothing but water, to see if it helps. I would like to start doing it now, but I don't have any near me.

So there it is. I am an addict. Some of you might go "Well at least it's not alcohol or drugs", which is true.
