When you hit rock bottom....

...........Remember, if you can be successful once, you can get back up, dust yourself off, and do it again.

You only need to remember one person who did. Tiger Woods.
He was once the best golfer in the world, on top of his game, and unbeatable on most weekends. Then one Thanksgiving weekend he was pulled over by the police and checked for a DUI. He was alcohol free but was on prescription meds. Woods also had to deal with the damage done from a very public and scandalous divorce.

Woods’s return to the top garnered praise from world leaders and sporting greats alike, with United States president Donald Trump and his predecessor Barack Obama both offering congratulations via social media.

“Congratulations to @TigerWoods,” tweeted Trump, who earlier this year played golf with Woods. “A truly Great Champion!”

Nicklaus, 23-times tennis grand slam winner Serena Williams, Super Bowl champion Tom Brady also applauded the victory on Twitter while swimmer Michael Phelps, the winner of a record 23 Olympic gold medals, was at Augusta National to cheer Woods on.

Written off as too old and too beaten up from four back surgeries and multiple knee operations, Woods underwent a back fusion procedure in 2017 and slowly returned to form.

He ended last season by winning the Tour Championship and showed signs of a breakthrough at the majors by being a title contender at last year’s British Open, where he led in the final round, and PGA Championship, where he finished runner-up.

All those moments built to Sunday, when Woods was once again his old familiar dominating self.

“I had serious doubts after what transpired a couple years ago,” said Woods. “I could barely walk. I couldn’t sit. Couldn’t lay down. I really couldn’t do much of anything.

“Luckily I had the procedure on my back, which gave me a chance at having a normal life.

“To have the opportunity to come back like this it is probably one of the biggest wins I’ve ever had for sure because of it.”

"You look young, you sound young too"

"May or may not be such a good thing"

This is something I have been told many times in my lifetime. It is a nice compliment when it is said in nice a way.

What isn't so nice is the mentality that if one appears young one must also be young in the head.

Sometimes it is a little funny to watch people as they do this. After they talk with me a little while they think to ask my age. When I answer I usually get a surprised look (lol I love this moment). The good part is that most of them begin adjusting their level (it is noticable)... at least they adjust thumbs up

The younger people sometimes have a problem with the adjustment part sigh That's ok, I have learned the art of not giving them a choice.

"The young woman who called me girl"

I was on the phone trying to help my son get the title for his car from a car lot. The female on the phone was not nice to my son. I called her myself the next day. She tried to lie to me twice about what the DMV (Dept of Motor Vehicle) policies were. I simply said no and explain to her what they will do.

Then she got huffy and called me "girl"...jaw drop
I didnt know whether to be mad or laugh (because only a b-word of a woman calls another woman they do not know a girl in such a manner in the first place). I asked her her age, she was 30, and then I laughed heartily...rolling on the floor laughingrolling on the floor laughing I said "well I guess I will take that as a compliment seeing as I am 15 years older than you"(Oh how I wish I could have seen her face at that moment)yay She was very nice after that. She even called me within a week letting me know that my son could come and pick up his title. My son smiled sheepishly at me because he didn't think I could get her to do it, "thanks Mom" cool

Sign Writer

I am considering changing my day job from being a 'Pro-scammer' to a 'sign-writer' as I've tried singing, acting and Ballet Dancing. None seem to work for me.

Today I volunteered my skills (first time ever} to do the sign above Kittys new Shop. And it seems that she is quite satisfied with my artistic flair. Lets hope she shows her 'gratitude' when she receives my invoice.... sigh

Hey! You stole my blog...

Some of my blogs are inspired about current events and other popular blogs at the time. One such blog I did years ago was inspired by another blog. It was posted by a woman saying that men who played with themselves excessively would lose sensation. Okay, I did some research and found a few links to support her topic. I also read normal sensation would return when the men discontinued such activity.

I knew this woman's style of blogging and I was certain the work wasn't hers. I believe the correct term is plagiarized.

Her blog was funny to me, but I knew the inverse was true for women.

Typing away... and not doing cut & paste I wrote a blog that inverted what she said. If she said something a man did, I found a way to describe the same activity using a woman as the example.

Blogs on that site allowed for (up to) 5 tags (topics or categories) and I correctly tagged my blog with: satire, parody, humor, joke

Unfortunately, 'she' didn't see the joke and neither did her two friends.
It's not uncommon for me to blog then go out for a while. I'll check back after a few hours to see if I had any comments.

Yeah, I did.
I was getting lots of kudos and comments from people 'who got it' along with threats that I plagiarized HER work. They told me I stole her blog and I was being reported to the moderator. They were serious about this...
laugh

What's strange is we had commented on each others blogs in the past. I guess that abruptly ended!

Okay, so I dismantled my blog and rewrote another blog titled "I stole your blog..." where I explained my side of the story. If you only heard their side it appears that I was the devil. Actually that was one of the comments from her. If it really was bad, I'm sure the moderator would have deleted it. The blog stayed up.

The response/support to my new blog was overwhelming as though people were actually waiting for something like this. One of the private messages I received had two links. One to a story on a commercial site and one to a blog posted by one of my accusers, someone I knew and had shared comments with.

I was told there were more she had plagiarized.

Huh? The blog was copied? The woman accusing me of taking someone's work had been doing this (stealing) all along...
I wanted to puke over these findings, and I was asked to be silent by the person sending me the links barf

Thanks for reading my blog!

The truth about meeting someone at the wrong time

You never meet the right people at the wrong time because the right people are timeless. The right people make you want to throw away the plans you originally had for one and follow them into the hazy, unknown future without a glance backwards.

The right people don’t make you hmm and haw about whether or not you want to be with them; you just know. You know that any adventure you had originally planned out for your future isn’t going to be half as incredible as the adventures you could have by their side.

That no matter what you thought you wanted before, this is better. Everything is better since they came along.

How to Be Grateful?

Do you say a prayer of gratefulness daily? Well, I don’t. I was facing a crossroad in my life recently. I decided not to do what I used to do career wise. But due to the habitual mode of having a regular job, I accepted a position not in alignment with what I want to do. What I want to do is also a part of what I did in my last job. To cut the story short I just did not want to deal with certain aspects of my previous full time employment anymore.

It was only after accepting the offer that I started to look deeply into myself. I read and also spent time in meditation. While being guided through a particular meditation online, asking me to think of all the times I have been grateful, it daunted on me that I wasn’t grateful most of my life. The truth is, the universe has always been kind to me, handing me what I want all the time. Even the things I did not want was given because I have not consciously looked inside myself before.

After looking deeply into what I want, rather than just take what comes my way without paying attention to my mind, I decided I will pay as much attention to my thoughts as possible made me feel a lot better. The offer was also a gift from the universe because in my state of confusion then, I did want a job, but I wasn’t paying attention to what I really want.

A friend gave me the advise this morning. She said her nephew who is only 4 years old, never feels guilt telling someone else he does not want something anymore. Whereas I do – most of my life. I do not like to disappoint people. That’s the nice way of saying it. Rather, I have been conditioned to always seek approval because I did not receive much as a child.

Thanks to my friend, I looked deeply into my behaviour pattern that drives me towards unhappiness. Now, I am conscious I can live without the guilt of wanting anyone’s approval again. It is freeing for the mind.

A free mind is a mind that is able to break from its usual habits. The ability to say ‘NO’ to your own mind when it is driven to do the same thing over and over again that causes you discomfort is liberating.

It is apt that I was beside a child on my way home in the train when she said, “I see cars, I see trees.” It was as what my friend had said. The child was just pointing out to her mother what she sees, without interpreting it and adding unnecessary layers like adults do.

When you cause upset to anyone it may feel uncomfortable at the moment, but it does not have to carry any guilt or burden at all.

Share your views of what you are actually seeing in your mind. We see, but we seldom do SEE it like a child. Be aware of your mind and be grateful because the universe always gives you what you want, even fear.

no self confidence

something always buffles me as in how do people start
praising other countries and forget their own..

I do always move from countries to countries for certain reasons but
never do I at any time forget where I come from.
and its funny some chinese look alike faces calling her self an american or african as if the origin country is a curse to mention about...

I think confidence pride is all I call self love
I mean having your culture to praise is health other than praising a foreign
one just simply you want to fit in society and maybe you went to those
other countries for studies or marriage or born there and you now forgot
your origins....

I can't hurt myself to this I am seeing here or in the name of survival for fitness...
@selflove is everything because it comes naturally at no costs.barf doh cheering

Voy a mi bola

Move along please folks unless you can help me with some Spanish colloquialisms because I suspect my leg is being gently pulled ... not going to say what I've been told they mean in case mischievous types promptly agree. And LOOK at them - I do not want to use these phrases unless I know they really do have the well-known colloquial meaning I'm told they have wow

1. Me cago en la leche - literally, yup, I crap in the milk. Um.
2. Ser la leche! (milk is surprisingly popular, eh?)
3. que chulo - no way I'm telling someone they're a pimp until I know it's cool uh oh
4. Eres el puto amo - or a male whore!
5. No me jodas - sounds potentially extremely useful. Please confirm.
6. Vete a la mierde - ditto.
7. Que te follen - what I'm told sounds useful, the online translator disagrees. help

Estoy flipando - en colores laugh

Any or all of the above, ta ever so very much kiss
