Can a woman be truly faithful to one man and if so

The reason for my blog, i've found myself being hurt with my last 2 relationship. I've done everything to make them happy, and they cheated, they were living secret lives, What do women really want when they say they're looking for a loving relationship. why when they have it, its like they don't know how to hold on to it. For me, LOVE is what really matters, i enjoy the cuddling, being very much conversational in my relationship, i'm a provider for my family, I pay attention to every details, I'm very much family oriented and mostly God comes first and foremost. Is that a turn off for women?

Are all women intricate beings, Why can't they say what they mean and mean what they say?

It's a kind of magic ..

My car opens when I walk up to it. So long as my keys are in my pocket or my bag, I don't actually need them. I sometimes walk up to my front door and expect that to open for me too. That will be routine, soon enough. Would you consider having your 'keys' built in, so you never need to worry about them again? Your phone, so you could press a button under the skin on your wrist and talk into your fist, or even out loud as though the person you were talking to was standing next to you?

Many public toilets now flush when you stand up - built-in sensors. The taps in the basins come on when you wave your hands under them, and the drier roars to life when you put your hands in or under them. Some households could find that really handy. A full-size drier, no more damp towels draped over the door? Hmm.

What handy inventions are on the drawing board, or even already out there, that you could imagine bringing into your own home?

I'll be popping back and forth, play along if you can think of something.

Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. At this rate we will have, in a matter of decades, a large elderly population with perky boobs, huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

A blast from the Past. Adjudicator----Sentenced to

Only been able to have access to my profile after it was blocked by not myself but C.S ,I am being ripped to shreds by the bloggers for being the so called "HE,SHE.IT" "Doctor" Scammer. All I did was protecting someone I worked with in Sierra Leone,(SO I THOUGHT) meaning my files ( LAPTOP) was hacked or else it can only be a blogger that has planted a seed of poison and I must say they screwed up badly as I was not and am not the "Doctor" with a sick twisted mind that has had me up in arms since I was the one to try and protect "someone" I thought I knew.Your persistance of calling me Evil Lips madam Itchywitch must come to an end. Solamente you need to take a long look at yourself as you are certainly not Mr wonderful as you want everyone to believe.Biff you can add Noddy points to your remarks, and Lonelyinafrica put a policeman in front of your mouth before you utter another word about me.Serena how dare you insinuate and by the way put my name in your blog heading as being involved, who do you think you are.As for the rest that have had a lot to say the same would apply to you all.I most certainly will send a copy of this blog to C.S and voice my total frustration to this neverending nasty remarks pitted at me by a drop of a hat whenever I voice my opinion. All I ask is if you cant say anything good about a person ,don't say anything at all but keep it locked in your deep dungeon of hatred file until further notice.doh

Sure Signs of a Healthy Relationship

I was just reading this in the latest issue of Psychology Today. It followed the story, "Adjustment Bureau" by Theresa E. DiDonato, Ph.D.

Since we are on a dating site and many of us may have been in a previous relationship that may or may not of worked out exactly as we hoped, or, we are currently looking for a relationship and may have questions on how we can preserve it. I thought that these following tips may help some of us:

"Sure Signs of a Healthy Relationship"

-PARTNERS SUPPORT EACH OTHER'S OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH People are more satisfied in a relationship when a partner actively supports their efforts to expand their own horizons.

-THEY SHARE THEIR EMOTIONS It's not enough to talk with a partner; couples in thriving relationships engage in emotional self-diclosure...the communications of thoughts and ideas with anoter person.

-PARTNERS PAY LESS ATTENTION TO ATTRACTIVE OTHERS The kind of commitment that appears in thriving relationships activates an implicit attentional block against the allure of attractive alternative partners.

-COUPLES SEE THE POSITIVE SIDES TO COMMITMENT Romantic commitment is multifaceted, reflecting positive, negative, and constraining elements. How people view their commitment predicts the quality of their romantic relationship.

-THE PRACTICE SELF-COMPASSION Good partners are kind to themselves. Being gentle toward oneself after a failure, for example, predicts the types of behavior that promote healthy relationships...such as offering empathy and concern for a partner in need.

-THEY EXPRESS THEIR GRATITUDE Feeling grateful is one thing, but telling your partner is another. Sharing feelings of gratitude is linked to positive partner perceptions and more willingness to voice relationship concerns.

-BOTH FOCUS ON HUMILITY Those who keep the ego in check are more attractive and are evaluated more positively as potential partners. According to research by Daryl Van Tongeren at Hope College, humility may be an important ingredient for relationship success. In addition, humility is tied to forgiveness, a powerful tool in happy unions.

Photographer Michel Denis-Huot, who captured these amazing pictures on safari in Kenya 's Masai Mara in October last year, said he was astounded by what he saw:

"These three brothers (cheetahs) have been living together since they left their mother at about 18 months old,' he said.

'On the morning we saw them, they seemed not to be hungry, walking quickly but stopping sometimes to play together.

'At one point, they met a group of impala who ran away. But one youngster was not quick enough and the brothers caught it easily'."

These extraordinary scenes followed (I have used them out of order, the impala was actually lying down, relaxed, by the end, not at the beginning.) After a while they got bored and left. The impala was completely unharmed.

I'm pretty nuts about cheetahs. But I did think these pics cried out for some crazy captions. Write some.

67 years married

there's a letter that an 87-year-old widow wrote in to a magazine saying that while her husband was dying, at 90, he told her he didn't love her and he never had.

I want to cry - or shake her (gently - she is 87, after all) and say NO, damnit, remember the good times and forget that thing he said, he was old, he was senile, he didn't mean it, he can't have meant it.

Right?

(Adding this comment - what gets me is not that he said it, whether he meant it or not he's dead now. What gets me is that she believes it, and is hurting.)
