Color me.....suspicious lol

There's a 'member' on here that caused me to raise an eyebrow.
You know, the too-good-to-be-true eyebrow. laugh
Truly a pretty well written profile, much better written than the average scammer.
However, she hails from........Texas, Alaska, USA. That was another red flag.
There's 2 states, Texas and Alaska. There is no Texas, Alaska. laugh

So, a Google image search, after some additional work, led me to learn that the photo is of
(insert drumroll here)

of an Australian pornstar. laugh
Further research 'revealed' that she possesses a pair of "natural GG cup breasts". roll eyes
Probably as natural as Trump's tan and hair color. laugh

If you see this person's picture on here, you'll know whose it really is;

That profile may be gone soon, as 'she' was reported. tongue

Just in case 'her' profile goes poof before you get to see, here's a different photo of the pornstar;

Settling for less than perfect

and yes I know I have been snooty about others putting up multiple blogs. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em dunno

This is in part inspired by Mimi's blog, which was inspired by Calm's comment, so there you are, we have a chain of blame.

It is also a genuine question but one, for once, I don't think CS can answer because on CS we are, I think, all about finding the perfect match, and nothing less will do. That's why we are single, you know. Perfect is very rarely on offer

Sometimes, we don't get offered what we want, but we do get offered what we need. Yet because we want perfect, we sneer at the idea of 'settling' for less

If you have ever said 'he (or she) is nice, I like them, but there's no leaping pulses, no WOW factor, so I'm not going to bother, I don't believe in settling' please kick yourself, cut the 'settling' word out of your vocabulary, and let this nice thing quietly grow legs, if it can.

If things don't work out (and here we are back to that chain of blame) well, they don't work out. So what? You got out there, you struck sparks and lit a fire, and it burned out. Not enough for an everlasting flame. There's no BLAME!

Anyone dares sneer at you, well, have they even got that far or are they stuck for eternity on that shelf, peering into the distance for the perfect and ignoring everyone else? Hmmm. Good luck with that.

Mental state on dating profiles

If you are a complete idiot, should you declare it in your profile? If so, then why haven't you? grin

Age Difference

Since I have joined this site, I am getting more responses from women in the 30-35 year old range than closer to my age, and I am 56.

I am wondering why this is? Any thoughts?

A real love in a virtual world

Many people believe that there is somebody for everybody, and singles looking for love have the world, quite literally, at their fingertips with the seemingly endless supply of online dating sites and mobile apps, like C.S and dozens of others offer something for everyone. And the odds for success are pretty good considering the number of people you can find from different countries at the same site.
In a virtual world, or social net, players have the ability through their avatar(s) to create an online person beyond just a screen name, giving them an opportunity to creatively and thoughtfully reveal more about themselves to the players with whom they engage. What I see is these virtual world environments mimic those of real-world dating scenarios. For example, players can choose from a wide range of cooperative activities that can be enjoyed with friends, new acquaintances and dates, including playing games, attending virtual parties, and giving gifts. This offers the opportunity to form bonds and test the waters of how their online friends respond to various situations.
The question is.....Do you think virtual love can last? If so, what does it take for a virtual relationship to make it in the real world?

Scary nature of relationships

Relationships can be a scary situation...especially if you are coming from a past relationship that had failed badly for you.

Why are relationships scary? It is primarily due to the uncertainty of the outcome of that relationship. Both men and women can get deeply hurt if they become involved with the wrong person. It is wise to vet the person you are going to become involved with...and that takes time for that the happen. However, what is the purpose of this vetting process if you do not understand the human dynamics of a relationship in the first place, and the human nature of toxic traits?

Many people have been properly taught what to look out for with toxic traits of people. This teaching primarily comes from one's parents. But, what happens when one is not taught that from their parents? What happens when one is raised in a family that did not have both parents? There are fundamental elements they are not going to learn...thus they still remain uneducated, picking wrong, single/divorced, and scared of entering a new relationship.

When one is educated on human nature and how to spot toxic traits with others, they can then make better decisions in their vetting process; thus, being willing and able to enter a new relationship in a more confident and comfortable way. I think the 50+% divorce rate speaks for itself on how well people have picked in the past. Is it too late to reduce the divorce rate and have couples happy again? I don't think so. But for that to happen, both men and women need to be educated to the reality of discerning a partner's value before jumping into something they regret later on. The sooner a man or a woman picks the right partner, the better it is for both of them.

But, we need to be educated.

Is this so wrong?
