It has been my experience that while talking to a woman, a man should just keep his mouth shut until she is completely finished talking....no matter if it is for 10 seconds or for 10 minutes. I don't care if you are surprised to hear and you want to share with her that you also named your dog Sparkling Piss....keep your mouth shut and just listen and let her finish. If not, I have found the conversations usually end shortly afterwards.

"encouraging" was a moderate and somewhat innocent word to use...of course everyone's interpretation of that encouragement might be different...that includes receiving that "encouragement" and administering it. One could interpret encouragement as just that...encouragement. Whereas, another may interpret that same "encouragement" as nagging, complaining, or even threatening. It boils down to how one interprets it.

I am not being bitchy or anything but just curious. I am just baffled. As someone who doesn't look like the typical Filipina (brown skinned and slim), men don't spare me a second look while some women who look like that gets all the attention. Is society nowadays based on physical appearance before approaching them and starting a conversation?
