I only can speak English, but I've never had a problem in countries where they dont. Nearly everywhere, children learn English, but even where they dont- pointing, nodding and smiling is plenty.
I see that the latest plan is to arm teachers with guns. What happens in the cafeteria? arm the ladies there too I guess. Then the bus ride home, arm the bus driver I suppose. Of course, the sports coach will need to carry a piece, as will the librarians... Then take a look at school uniforms, kevlar vests make perfect sense really, and obviously they're going to need helmets. Maybe limit each student to 3 hand grenades each, or their packs will be too heavy and cumbersome to carry around in the freshly dug trenches.
