Stopping birth right citizenship
Is it really possible?I'm not sure if an executive order can really make this happen.
What do you think?
Anyone?

The point however, at least in my mind is that, to cut off encouragement for these illegal to do just that, reaping the benefits they don't deserve.
Trump seems to be believe yes, and willing to see if he can get away with it. If he does it is very likely to become a major source of trouble on the long run.
I mean, Presidents will continue to come and go, but this precedent of a "Presidential strike of the pen" stopping Constitutional Rights would remain, and passed on to future Presidents.
I am certain that many of those who loudly cheer this particular idea would explode when a future president would intend to, for example, sideline their Constitutional Gun Rights by another "Presidential strike of a pen".
One can agree or disagree with the need of these Constitutional changes, to avoid deepening division your country is already in, it seems wiser to make such changes through the proper Congers/Senate channels instead of an unilaterally decided Executive Order.
The DNC has been evacuated today after a suspicious package arrived.
It turned out to be a copy of our country’s Constitution - something none of them have ever seen!
That's the most important part, upholding the constitution.
People can argue until the end of time, but the fact remains if it is not written in the constitution it has no relevance.
I think that suggesting that certain clauses should or should not have been included in the constitution is heading for a slippery slope.
Maybe a clause that would prohibit a compulsive liar from becoming the President, can be found and also added?
What he wrote is incorporated in the 14th!
From the American History site
Except maybe your TDS!
Your OP was whether an executive order can make it happen, and as Article 14 is written and understood the answer is a resounding NO, Trump would need a massive support from all parties in the USA Government to make such a change to the constitution, and that is virtually impossible, even less so after a couple of weeks.
The actual law as it stands is IMO wrong, it should be similar to the UK and several other countries, but Trump needs to carry it out the right way, not make political points out of it. And it should be written so as to protect those already born in the USA from foreigners. The way it was stated by Trump would actually mean many people who have lived and paid taxes for years in the USA would risk being deported or have to apply for citizenship, which is crazy.
In short let's stick to what it is.
Babies who are born from ILLEGALS ARE NOT CITIZENS BASED ON OUR CONSTITUTIONAL LAW.
Yessssssssss.
Now here's what I've learned from Conrad's post. It counter balance the law that these ILLEGALS CAN'T BE PROSECUTED AND SUBJECT TO THE SAME LAW, even if they've killed all of us. What a law Mic.
You might want to share it with folks on nastics' 'boo' blog.
Mic the Perfessor of towering intellect must read this.
Let's see his response that thwarts the intention.
Maybe just build the wall is a faster solution.
