Overcoming constraints..

Watching an interesting video...

So far...not done watching it yet....however...

Basically, every person has a purpose..an inner energy/being...that often times becomes constrained by that person's body. The body facilitates in that energy/being in achieving its purpose. However, the body can also be a constraint or a jail to that energy/being. According to the video: only a small amount of people use the body to achieve the inner energy/being's objectives.

As a side note: I wonder if that is why people develop such mental conditions as depression or addiction. There is a conflict between the inner and the outer. hmmm

Our body and hence our inner being/energy live within the confines of human made environments...such as capitalism. I would think in order to develop and manifest the inner being's purpose, the outer being (body) would need to be free of external constrains....thus allowing the outer body to realize the inner being's purpose. In order for that to happen, I think one would need knowledge and resources. Knowledge to know there is an inner being with a purpose that needs to be realized...and resources to allow the body to explore these inner being purposes. I would think it would be difficult to explore this inner being purpose while stressing about how the bills will be paid, stressing about where one's next meal will come from. So money to some extent would allow for the exploration of the inner being...and to allow for enlightenment to shine among whoever. Of course, not wealth to the point where you are obsessed with it.

Another constraint is one's mind. As the video points out, the mind is not the inner being/energy...but it is the connection between the two. So a "clean" mind will help remove constraints. A mind altered by alcohol, drugs, ...addictions in general....could cause one to fail to explore and illuminated the inner being/energy and its purpose.

So...if you have a feeling that something is not in harmony with yourself...a peace...a comfort...a confidence...a clear assessment of yourself, perhaps trying to remove constraints from your inner being/energy and its purpose. dunno

Johnny,

That is Very Deep. "That's what she said. Or that's what he said." Yikes!

Anyways, when I was depressed for a few hours after Kissy Myas left me one day, my doctor, Dr. Rolfit Downe Whiskey recommended heavy drinking to relieve the problem. drinking

I'll try to look at that video you're referring to, but right now my dog is watching his daily Scooby Doo cartoons. So, I don't want to interrupt him. He can get mighty upset and growl at me if I do, and maybe even sprinkle on my shoes.

Have a cool fun day! cool

That is easier said than done.
Most people blame others for their problems.
Have you notice our society is very angry and rude?

Some want to blame the Covid virus for this behaviour.
I say that is who they are with or without the virus.
I'll have to get back to this one again...

Sorry but I need a little more time to overcome your, questioning confused dunno

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing That was cute but true.
Pets do come first and they'll be the first to tell you that. thumbs up

I thought about the financial constraints that I have already seen others energetically struggle with.

Various issues and their coping methods are (I must set aside Manly P.Hall and his era's influencer, Madam Bavatsky): covid, democrats' bills,starlink,ayahuasca/psilocybin mushrooms.

uh oh

Hi Johnny,
I might not be fully grasping what you are saying here but I think every person has a different mental attitude as to the problem he/she might be adapting to.

Alternatively I'll just go along with what Robert sez...laugh

Sorry if im on a different wavelengthlaugh
This comment refers specifically to the
liberal West Coast and its subcultures.

"I really hope we don't spend the next 10 to 12 months with open air drug markets and nowhere to send" those seeking help, said one official who asked not to be named because he wasn't authorized to speak publicly.

Complicating implementation is that Oregon can't get matching federal Medicaid money, a key funding source for states, to expand treatment under Measure 110 * because it's using tax revenue from the legal sale of marijuana, which the federal government still classifies as a Schedule 1 illegal drug.
*November 2020, voters in the U.S. state of Oregon passed Ballot Measure 110, " possession/penalties for specified drugs". Drugs affected include heroin, methamphetamine, PCP, LSD and oxycodone, as well as others. *

I was shocked that the city I left 2 years ago now has a "therapy center" that is using drugs that were declassified,e.g. hallucinogens.

wave JS, this is so true. When one has concerns for one's physical well being it could be very difficult to explore other needs, so have resources (financial, human and other). allows better focus on exploring and meeting the needs of inner (aka spiritual and mental) being. This I have experienced, as well as observed with others, at its most basic.
Hello Loh...

It is a liberating feeling when you got your finances in order.

I think this blog aligns with Maslow's hierarchy of needs. As you conquer the lower needs, you innately continue up the needs ladder. Maybe Maslow paid attention to his inner being in order to formulate that theory.

Hey Robert...

laugh ...your doctor is a very smart guy....alcohol solves all issues (external issues I suppose). laugh

You know...that video points out that there is something more to this life than just a physical existence. Have you ever got that curiosity? Where you felt our deeply questioned life and wonder if there is something more to it? If so, that thought came from somewhere. ...I would even go as far as saying you might even have had a feeling there was more to life. Maybe it is time to start paying more attention to that instead of the narrative we are being fed...thus manipulating us. dunno

I read an interesting book by Manly P. Hall about astrology. I must say, he is a very deep and profound thinker. Not to mention, I just learned he was a 33 degree Mas..

cheers
Hello Friend,

I do agree with you that sometimes it becomes hard to do than said...becoming more in tune with your inner being. I think first and foremost knowing the inner being is there, is the first start. If one does not know, one does not know to pursue.

I think a lot of people are being manipulated with the message we are being fed...a message that goes against our innate being. dunno

Hello CW,

Think about it CW. I would like to hear your thoughts.

but there my thoughts on what I make of it hole
Hello Patty,

Yes...the financial game we are all part of can hold many down. There are few that I know that have overcome its grips on their being. It does take disipline and hard work to those who have not been born into wealth.

I have heard some funny things about those two people you mentioned. I have not really looked into them much. But, I know some that are not impressed by them.

Hello Luke...

From my take on the video...it is more of a feeling or more of an innate knowing that there is something out there that is bigger than ourselves. I mean our physical selves. I guess I would highly encourage you to view the video link for a better explanation.

I think the more I talk about this, I might join Robert too. laugh

I am a bit slow Patty-Cakes. welcome back...

I have had a couple of drinks tonight so my thought process is not exactly where it needs to be. lol

Hello Kal,

Likewise with you...you seem to have had grasp the concept in which I have tried to convey. thumbs up Thank you for sharing it the way you have...it is another way in which to understand it.

Ms. CW,

I would like to wait until I am more sober to respond to your response. :)

How iron hey? A drunk blogging about drunkenness. laugh

CW...I didn't see any popcorn eating...laugh uh oh But, I am slow like that. :) I think circular explanation has to do with trying to describe a complex subject in different ways to help one understand the concept. dunno
If so....first stage is to acknowledge that nobody is perfect...and that includes one's self.

dunno
Another step...be humble...and also understand that nobody is perfect...and others are fallible.
Another step....allow others to be who they are and wholely accept that.
Luke, I agree...there seems to be much more going on that meets the eye. I found it interesting too and I am glad to hear you found it that way as well.

thumbs up
