It is 5:20 A.M. and I am in a motel room in Jacksonville, Fl. and I have been wide awake for nearly three and a half hours. I am here to go through orientation for a new driving job that will hopefully pay me a decent wage and still allow me time at home on a reasonably often and predictable schedule. The three other drivers with me in this orientation class seem to be convinced that things will continue as they have thus far, and that - even though we are supposed to finish up and leave today with our first loads - we will somehow be held until tomorrow. So far, I choose to believe that we will leave when we are supposed to and hope that it is sooner rather than later.

I have to get back on the road so that I can get home and get some sleep. Even though I used to build them, I have never been able to sleep comfortably in motels and I think it is because everything in them seems to be so artificial and I am an inherently natural person. Of course I know that it is also because of the lumpy pillows and over-used mattresses.

So many things with this job seem to be un-resolved but I hope it is only because I have been through all this before with other companies and haven't paid as much attention as I would have had I been well rested and un-jaded. In truth, I think all I really know about what I am doing here is that I am a good enough driver to somehow be able to muddle my way through until I reach that magical point when I have learned to do things the way this company wants them done. It is when things become routine that we are able to stop being nervous about screwing them up and simply start to enjoy accomplishing them.

It goes without saying that I miss my wife terribly, but it also should be noted again that I am confident that I will leave here when I am supposed to and thereby be on my way back to her arms before the day is out. I only hope when I get home that our "critter kids" will allow us a little time together without constantly coming up to ask where I've been, why I was there and how come I wasn't back sooner. It never ceases to amaze me how many thoughts and ideas some animals and humans can convey with just a look.

I cannot wait to again look into the eyes of those at home.

Recently a friend of mine used my computer and let my locked mouse out! I have an external mouse that I use. I want to disable the internal mouse on my laptop. I have tried to disable the mouse, short of shooting my computer, Can anyone tell me how to do it?

I'm not sure if I will get some good feedback to post this subject here but I'm planning to visit Las Vegas furniture trade show in Jan.

Does their perspective surprise anyone?

The Republican National Committee (RNC) required a loyalty pledge from the 2024 presidential candidates to endorse the party's nominee and to be allowed on the debate stage. Trump declined to sign and didn't participate (directly) in any of the debates.

Nikki Haley is the last GOP candidate standing against Trump and said she no longer feels bound to pledge her support for Trump if he becomes the nominee.
Stated in an interview that aired this past Sunday on NBC's show Meet The Press, Haley said: “The RNC is now not the same RNC,” adding “I'll make what decision I want to make."

Hang in there Haley... Trump was found guilty of defamation, corporate corruption and is teetering on insurrection, theft of classified documents and an attempt to overturn the Georgia election.

Who knows, if he goes to jail you will become the Republican nominee with a chance to win the 2024 election against Sleepy Joe. At that point... they will be asking your pledge to pardon Trump's sentence.

Hi Guys, I haven't been on connecting singles for while. I didn't have time to write new blogs.
Last night I saw something curious on Discovery Channel. In short...
There was an Australian woman who claimed that If two people want to keep their relationship for long time or in the best case for a life time, they should sleep with other people too. According to her this is very natural because a man was not made to be only with one woman, in other words he cannot be monogamous. Obviously her man didn't mind it.
She and her BF have rules, without intimacy and etc. It was interesting to see how they both choose a woman or a man and then they invited him/her at their home. It is not allow the other man/ woman to stay till the morning.

Then the next scene was other case an English man from Essex who has 7 women. They all felt quite normal. However they were not married because the polygamy it's not allowed in UK.

I couldn't help but wonder is this the future for the modern relationships or I am too convervative!?!I'm afraid that If a man and a woman cannot be with only one partner in their life then what kind of relation is this? What is the point?

I am really curious to know your opinions! Feel fee to share them with me.

Reading a post on cs forum, about a dog that pooped on someone's property and the walker didn't picked up the waste.. that person just walked away instead, has made me remember about a story a good friend of mine told me some time ago. It's her neighbor.

At first my friend wondered who could do such bad thing as she and her husband never saw who walked the dog. They just saw the dog poop. Then they asked someone in their house to carefully watch and record anybody with a dog. Finally their neighbor got recorded with two dogs!

Different from most countries in the West, Indonesia has no law that forces pet owners to pick up their dog poop. So we cannot report the "incidence", let alone sue the owners.

Well, with that record, her husband knocked at the neighbor's door, show the evidence and said: "I will shoot those dogs of yours if you still let the dogs poop in my property!"

My friend's husband is a police officer.

What I and a lot of others see is a huge corrupt political force out there that are trying to run up anything as far as trumped up charges go. These people against Trump have an agenda. They know that Trump has a good shot at winning the general election in 2024. A lot of people including myself feel that the numbers in the swing states back in 2020 didn't add up, and there was a lot a suspious activity that went down through the middle of the night with the counting of votes.

A lot of us are seeing the ugliest that these people will go to go after Trump using every source to their advantage while corrupting the justice system for their disposal. What we are witnessing is a two tier justice system.

These people that are all involved in going after Trump that are employed by the government know that if Trump wins in 2024, there will be pay back by Trump. These people are scared that he will win, and with what happened with the 2020 election, was actually a stolen election. It's going to be harder to pull off stealing the 2024 election this time around, and they know it. That's why we're seeing this circus going on with all these charges from this corrupt bunch of people. There's a reason Christie is running. He was encouraged to by Trump's foes. His job is to be a thorn in Trump's side and continue trying to run him down.

Christie is bought and paid for. The more you see these type of people trying to do everything they can to prevent Trump from running, the more Trump's numbers continue to rise in the polls. A lot of people see the injustice being done to Trump. The ones who can't see it is because of their refusal to because of the hatred they have towards Trump. This is my opinion!
