WHERE ???

Segregated section
set apart from one
another division
among the old
and young.
Groups of 50
different yet so
familiar to each
other.
FAMILY
FRIENDS
Both in one yet i
am by the side no
place to call my
very own
which group is mine
NONE
no one like me
just me successful
i shift from one
group to another
LINGERLY
LOOKING
For a place
that i can
BELONG.
Where is that?
When is that?
Who knows the
ANSWER?

Sometimes in life I feel,,,,

Sometimes in life I feel,,,
like Iam wearing my shoes to big
and in my life I feeling
a little fatigued

Sometimes in life I feel,,,
like Iam wearing my socks
to high and again about
my life Iam asking why

Sometimes in life I feel,,,
like Iam wearing my pants
to long and there draging
the floor in my life I cant take
it any more

Sometime in life I feel,,,
like when Iam wearing
my shirt and the sleeves
are to tight
and everything in life
is just not right

Sometimes in life I feel,,,
like my hair is combed the wrong way
I question about my life and
is it happy or just other
sad day

Sometimes in life I feel,,,
my glasses dont fit right
and please Go help me in
directing my life

Sometime I feel like,,,
my heart beating to fast
when will all this sadness past

Sometimes in life I feel like,,,
the room is to small
but I know God
is able to help us all,
even if

Sometimes in life I feel,,,

Its not time

If i could turn what i never had
Into fertile ground
Would the fruits of my labour
Be the sweetest ever found

Just one step a very small step
Into the direction i want you to be
Like old mate trying to break that horse
Dedication with no fee

Come walk this path beside me
Let us both understand
Lets share what we have joyously
On your journey to be a man

Together we can build
A relationship that will last
For when you have a family
You can delve into your past

Hopefully you will see
The energy i have spent
Nurturing what we have
For never will i relent

Come walk this path with me
Let us both understand
Lets share what we have joyously
On your journey to be a man

Baldness is Beautiful

Men look at themselves
in the mirror they
do not want to admit
that their hair is
starting to disappear.
Each and every day
they see their hair
disappearing that way.
To them i say just
shave it bald, let
it be for having no
hair will set you free.

STAY

Mary you are
leaving me for
you want me to
grow in the Lord.
You carry on your
life to your family
you go, when i see
you today i want
you to stay.
For i will miss
you my dear you
truly are my friend
and mother in Christ.
Your feelings are
so sincere to me
i just do not want
you to disappear.

my heaven

Her little eyes look up to me
wanting me to see her
little arms held out
wanting to be held
a little voice calling out
wanting me to hear
a little girl standing there
simply to be mine
she watches me
and becomes my mimic
when she grows up
i will wish she was small
so while she is here
i'll paint with my fingers,
chalk on the ground
read lots of stories
chase pretty butterflies
kiss lots of boo boos
and listen to her talltales
while she is little
i will cherish every moment
as if she was really mine.
she may be my niece
she may be my god daughter
but forever will she hold my heart

Words are important

Words are important
They roll off our tongue
Words are shared by you
And every one

Words show who we are
So tell no lies
To your wives
Men

Words are important
Women enjoy
I love you words
Or a little gossip
I have heard

Words are important
With children as well
They want to be told good job
Or in fight, a few cuss words may come out
If mom not there to hear
They just might

Words in the business world
After you both have spoken
It end in a hand shake
And you walk away in hopes
With a deal in the make

Words are important
With the elderly too
They want to be talk to with respect
And not have to say
Child I am your mama
As they grab you around the neck

Words are important
To men as well
Sometimes it the men
Who say the least but just
Use there eyes to tell
You they love you,
And will you become my bride

Words are important
As they roll off our lips
So be careful what you say
As the preacher say
The world might just end ,,,,,,today

family's

Family’s
Family’s are tough
Family’ do but sometimes
don’t keep in touch
Family’s sometimes fight
And sometimes cant decide
What is right
Family’s sometimes are a shame
And they play that not it my fought
Name game
Family’s most of the time
All love one other
But this is sometimes not true
With some sisters and brothers
Family’s may conceit of a large number
of people or very small
They may have different colored hair
Or some may be short or very tall
Family’s are you and me
There aunts and uncles
And nephew and nieces
But Grandma and pa
Is the people who hold all the pieces
Family’s I feel are made from God above
It was Adam and Eve,, in the beginning
I do believe
So if your lucky enough to have
a family alive and not yet dead
Pick up the phone and call them
Ask how are you, , and why have you not called
Is it something I might of said/
And try not to get mad
And hold a grudge instead
Family weather you like it or not
It what we are
Last year or last week or tomorrow
Oh I almost for got about Grandkids
They are the best if your lucky enough to have them
Oh just ask a Grandparent they will tell you the rest,,,,
Family’s

"And my son is just like me!"

Little would I know as I watched him grow,
that my blue eyed son would be just like me.
The visions within his eye, his restraints to cry,
determined to excel and live his life well.
Like my father's son, my youngest is the one,
with actions of stealth serving others not self.
He's considerate, he's true, patriotic thru & thru,
like feet properly shod, he's protected by God.
And my son is just like me!

At the age of 11 my son sent from heaven,
by the One I extol took him in full control.
My time to preach and my years to teach,
like summer's cool swim came to a difficult end.
He was moved far away from me to stay,
as my unhappy wife sought out a brighter life.
Five long years of silent fallen tears,
before my 16 year old, my arms would hold.
And my son is just like me!

Now at 18 he's back and our lives are on track,
and my son and his dad are both so glad.
He's a man to the core my college Sophomore,
and a prouder than me Dad could never be had.
Now it's up to 'US' in love and trust,
to keep ties strong through right or wrong.
The exciting years ahead, to him I've said,
could be our very best, if trusted to God to bless.

"And my son is just like me!"

About this poem:
I've been BLESSED to have time with my 18 year old son over the past 2 weeks as he's enjoying a summer break before going back to his college Sophomore year. He's working with me and showing me just why I'm so proud of him!! He'll be gone to soon, but I'm soaking up as much enjoyment from his time as I possibly can!..... and.... he's just like me!! :-)
