WORDS....

Friend or foe, it shouldn't matter
Wording used..... a main factor
Explanations can, cause pain
Thoughtless words, tears as rain

Verbal or written, may give clues
If outcome, has black-edged-hue
In hindsight be wary, feelings may
Block way back, at the end of day

Holding your breath, dance out of step
Mounting emotions, cautiously met
Early relationship, commitment vague
Sudden-outburst, trust rapidly fade

Admitting to factors, may take time
Being honest, can cross personal line
Caution is way forward, careful words
In hindsight to stop progress... absurd

When lovers tiffs come rapid, at times
RED FLAGS FLY, you know the kind
Words spoken in anger, no way back
Any harsh words, will compassion lack

Do we learn, not when passion's involved
Emotional feelings, and soul can be sold
Yet walking away, until one cools down
Is not an answer, as many have found.......

MORNING HOPE.

Stillness of morning, silence controls
Dawn has broken, giving earth its soul
Colour explodes, as sun-rays dance
Dew on grass, as flowers enhance

Overall appearance, a waking day
Fresh-shiny, waits creatures who play
Dawn chorus, as birds join in
Lift anticipation, all sing

Sun as a clock, the world wakes
Across mountains, oceans and lakes
Stirring imagination, also sound
Emotional thoughts, united abound

Seasons of a world, bursting forth
Hope stirs passion, a driving force
Morning comes with hope, a new day
Sun wakes nature's crystals, dazzling rays.

Every morning, new hope is renewed
Around the world, with dawn it's cue
Whether sunny or cloudy, hope is alive
And so each morning, a positive drive.......

TENNIS: THE GREATEST GAME EVER

I personally feel the game of tennis is the greatest sport of all
start young and play til you're no longer able to see the ball
A truly enjoyable activity conducive to keeping ones-self fit
as you learn and improve you'll become addicted I guarantee it

Many love just playing while others I'd deem serious 'Tennis players'
I'm a tennis player who relishes playing against those with EGO in layers
When stepping out to compete on court I never consider I can't win
for some having confidence in ones skills isn't arrogance just no spin

Tennis elicited numerous phone calls from people I'd likely never meet
rubbing elbows with doctors, millionaires, and politicians was pretty neat
My Mantra 'Actions speak louder than Words' I have and will always proclaim
that said... I ascertained many are much much better at talking a good game

Excelling at tennis takes Agility, Ability, and grasping the art of playing smart
it's also very advantageous to know every facet of the game by heart
The camaraderie I've shared with the 'TRULY' genuine people I'll not forget
that part alone makes tennis worth it's weight in gold from where I sit

Winning isn't synonymous with hitting hard... it's consistency and being clever
the aforementioned and more makes 'TENNIS THE GREATEST GAME EVER'

About this poem:
IMPORTANT TO NOTE!! Each sentence is based on an actual experience. Some may seem arrogant, but you don't know the context. I have zero arrogance in my DNA. Seriously, there's enough arrogance in the Click I'm referencing to cover everyone.

UNIVERSAL WINGS.

Star studded sky, its beauty hosts
Future dreams and haunting ghosts
Of hopes captured, in memory holds
Fixing eyes, towards a sky that unfolds

Mesmerizing serenity, without a cost
Spectacular beauty, time is never lost
Linking past, to future hopes and dreams
Giving innocent wonder, as worldwide seen

Moon acts as anchor, controller of life
Calming onlookers, absorbing their strife
Looking deep into, a star studded night
Travelling thoughts, making silent flight

Luna gifts, framed in a darkened sky
Retainer of magic, unique and on high
Messages sent, without words spoken
On universal wings, by loves special token.

9/11/2001

On the eleventh day of September Two-thousand one
planned attacks on American soil were successfully done
Nation's belief of invincibility instantly turned to fear
while the vile perpetrators rejoice in victorious cheer

Inhumane Radical Islam reared it's hideous head
nation and allies abroad mourn thousands dead
Terrorist are born and bred in the Middle East
so-called allies willfully harbor these savage beast

Some believe bureaucrats were part of avoidable fate
if truth ever surfaces society may angrily vent hate
All civilized nations concur terrorism MUST cease
culprits must be eradicated in the name of peace

They're convinced Americas' the true EVIL EMPIRE
desire to eliminate the 'Infidel' shall never tire
The world succumbing to Islam their end game
soulless terrorist slaughter innocent in Allah's name

Pretzel interpretation of Koran drastically blurs view
devoid of reason assures conflict can't reach through
To be so monstrous one is indubitably cursed
9/11/2001 the day remembered as our histories worst

Sunlight.

I can’t give my heart away because it’s ceases to exist on this plane maybe the next.
in this way or that way I’ve gradually found my way, even though it goes against the grain.
I got nothing to lose. I keep a solid mind and a settled state within a heart that’s beyond break. I look closer and closer beyond the clear eyes we’re my gazes slowly find the truth, I don’t need I don’t find weakness in the weak. I find strength in courage I find pity in judgement, I stay here enlightened, knowing there’s another teacher over there, A silent whisper comes from inside do I care, I heard the air quiet down settle your frown i die slowly and raise your crown and arise another day. To Sunlight.

Planting my roots

Emerging from the shadowy depths of my enclosure
my cage
wearing nothing but my skin
drifting into the thicket

feeling the cold white velvety blanket dissolving to moisture beneath my steps
I find a patch of earth
soft grasses green
soil black as pitch, rich in vital minerals

with one thrust of my foot
I sending it plunging deeply within
one following the other
stretching out my toes….hardening….reaching…digging…. growing
anchoring me
my legs and body stiffen

brown skin darkening, thickens, hardening
raising my head to smile at father sky above
arms outstretched, reaching out…..to embrace
connecting to earth and sky

I can move nothing, as the hardening change of my skin
moves up through my torso and limbs
feet and toes growing to roots, deep down in the earth
clutching the mother’s breast…clinging

arms and fingers to branches caressing father sky
breathing a breath I’ve never before breathed
no longer through my once movable mouth and nose
now solid, clothed in a new hardened skin

bark, solid, dark, and strong
my breath moves from within my core, and radiates up and out
haaaaaaaa
my arms swaying to the whistling wind blowing through my branches

as I sigh and moan, a tune of my own
of thanks and wonder

Come back to me

What can I do ?
My mind always brings me to you.
I reach for you, but you’re not there.
I feel your spirit, everywhere.

This longing increases every day.
How I wish you were here with me to stay.
It’s so much easier, when I’m asleep.
During waking hours, my yearning peaks.

Creator help me, I just feel SO much.
My love for this man, I so long to touch.
Kiss on his face, and gaze in his eyes.
A caress from him, would have me paralyzed.

I come to this river, and look every day.
Although I know you’re not here anyway.
Still I look to the ripples, to bring you near.
Yearning so much, to have you back here.

I try not to miss you, really I do
But, I can’t stop my mind
from thinking
of YOU

About this poem:
Another long distance relationship. Not feeling compelled to look up if this one was with Dominican Republic or Scotland. They kinda overlapped. Both were aware of each other, and got along. They were both in love with me and I also had feelings for them.

Scotland's over and done with; however the bridge is still there with Dominican, we're just not even trying because of covid travel restrictions. We are dreamers, but moreso realists.

JUST SAYING V #CIV

Maybe humans realized themselves they had "Free Will"
also concluded common sense depicts what is or isn't real
Some god didn't give humans the ability to exhaust voice
human Brain houses 'Will' needed to make every choice

Again I vehemently declare life's NOT some precious 'Gift'
it's synonymous with crippling pain keeping us morally adrift
People can die from a broken heart I believe to be true
it unfortunately appears to be the process I'm going through

"The Left's" incessant BIG LIE 'guns are the culprit'
they're playing blind or relish role of ignorant shit
Dems justify minorities dismantling Nation we live in
America pledges "In God We Trust" but facilitate sin

Evil certainly behind the birth of noise known as Rap
incoherent mouthing off isn't 'music' it's immoral Crap
The damage caused since it's origin we can't measure
for inducing societal decay thugs are rewarded treasure

Americas' deemed worlds Beacon of Hope by most
indubitably fact but it's arrogant to incessantly boast
The hypocrisy in our defunct world is immeasurable
speaking TRUTH on the brink of not expressible

RENDERED SPEECHLESS

Lying out on Pensacola Beach under scorching rays
while engrossed in TK101 Rock my mind strays
As I lie sweating profusely burning sand covers me
some found my eyes negating opening them to see

Startled I quickly raise up to rid sticky body of the grit
I wipe my stinging eyes managing to open them a bit
After focusing I see this Goddess starring down at me
her resplendence far greater than any desired fantasy

I then heard "I'm so sorry" in the sexiest possible voice
"Can you ever forgive me" like that was even a choice
I'm struggling to process this Venus of genuine mystique
brain's screaming respond but I'm too stupefied to speak

Again saying I'm so sorry as she's turns to walk away
she glanced back and winked saying "see you someday"
If we cross paths again words won't be so hard to find
I'm certain visions of she will never escape my mind

When I lay back down thoughts run rampant in my head
F.Y.I... I did get to see her later that evening while in bed
