"What do ghosts see in a mirror?"
Oak's underbelly.
where dreams appeal naturally
mom slipped from the crypt.
Oak's underbelly... (in the shade of an oak tree on a sunny lazy day)
where dreams appeal naturally...(be easy to fall asleep)
mom slipped from the crypt...(dreamt a lot about my mom right after she passed but she didn't know she was dead)

online today!
Pearls from the Ocean
Butterflies are from Heaven
Diamonds come to light
Spring flower colors
Winter snow with freezing winds
Summer warm breezes
Family and home
Getting together again
Darkness has lifted

About this poem:
Correction: Didn't realize that only 3 lines in each stanza - duh!! Attempt at Haiku but afraid not a very good one. Not really my kind of poem. Happy Father's Day tomorrow to all the Father's out there.

charmed saplings in the redwoods
Fearing no evil

Darkness hails
Purple blue flashes
White lightning
Booms and cracks
Stretch across darkened skies
Hail wind blows gust those teeth of flashes
Boom s across lightning flashes
freezing rain lashes whips of light cracks the blackened sky
Dreams of night pure darkness rains
One Looks and stares one looks ponders the lightning and rain one seeks solitude one hides from the flashes darkness rains the boom and flashes morning descends lights up the sky glint of blue the sky's so bright rain has stopped peace regained

Walking down street
I saw you there
I took a peek
You stood so lean and tall
My legs began to shake
I thought please don’t fall
I knew those black eyes of yours
My lips had once kissed your tears
It’s been many years
Who said time cures
Those black eyes as clear as glass
You were always a man of class
The short time that was had
were filled with love and tenderness
Just as our kisses
We let what we once had go
to a beautiful place in our past
As I walk away I smile
I just saw a beautiful memory
From my past

The clock chimes the hour
Time ticks bye
Seconds become minutes
Minutes become that hour
Time ticks bye slowly ticking bye time now gone now stolen one says good bye those minute now gone stolen they become
Hours they become days
Days become weeks
Weeks become years
Years become decades
Where has time gone

I dream of you to kiss those lips wanting you
I dream of you each day
Shy to talk shy to approach
I dream of what to say
Your hair dazzles me takes
my breath I can hardly breath
I drown in breath
To be near you to hold you close
To taste those lips
Your my princess held pedistals high
I want to be near you to hold you
Talk to you to kiss you
my wanting feelings for you
But I hide from you from a far
From other ends of this earth
I dream of you
hoping I can be with you my love how I miss who you are
my one true love

be it couples , be it elements ,
be it fire , be it water .
Always there is a mystery to them ,
the opposites.
their existence baffled many ,
baffled philosophy , baffled science .
some exist in conflict , some in harmony ,
the opposites.
ying yang , positive and negative ,
good and evil , light and dark .
balancing one another since the dawn of eons ,
the opposites.
in the origin with the big bang , in the every existing atom ,
in the age of the cave man , in the age of the modern man.
they were with the dawn of the universe and will be there till it ends ,
the opposites.

tell me what you think about it .

cool beneath the palms
one bourbon, one scotch, one beer
ripples in the sand
dance me a samba
la fiesta in the rain
swirl of a red dress
from the heights they came
fine gossamer on the wind
seeking exodus

I’m not a poet I’m just a nice lad
Who writes lots of poems when happy or sad
Artistic I’m not but I’ll give it a lash
My pockets are empty I’m desperate for cash
Clever oh no with an IQ of nine
Writing with words that seemingly rhythme
Left school so early regretting it now
It wasn’t my fault that grumpy old sow
No not of big words a poet I’m not
But try I shall do first prize is a lot
I’m an honest lad who loves a good snooze
I’ve sent sixty poems I surely can’t lose
I honestly don’t know if Poetry needs plot
If that’s the case my Poetry has not
I’ve asked me ma what Poetry’s about?
She said use big words that come from your mouth!
I never win competitions but for this I’m not sad
For I’m certainly no Poet I’m just a nice lad!
