when

when I tamed rage
and tried anew
a road emerged
that led to you

when I quit work
and made a career
I fed with tune
my starving ear

when darkness fell
about my boot
I shed the cloak
that hid the truth

when I buried hate
and then forgave
a poem grew
around the grave

instinct

I could've had religion
but I loved God too much
I could've fought for a living
in boxing rings and such

but I guess we are who we are
and we can't outrun ourselves
and the traits that make us rounded
are often stored in others shelves

I could've been kinder
to the girls that shared my bed
I couldve talked and listened
and let some inside in my head

but the world's an inverted question mark
pointing to the east
and the sum of every good I've done
is balanced on a beast

the more dangerous the obstacle
the more determined I am in tone
see I've always been a protector
to every soul I've known

for work I mind for money
the wealthy and great
the affluent and healthy
beneath the cloak of fate

at home i shroud my family
by planning and device
a shield of hard experience
deep roots untouched by ice

I couldve had a different life
I couldve been carefree
I couldve swam in lukewarm ways
but I chose the Atlantic sea

as cold as knives each morning
as salt it licks my scars
I see the dawn's reflection
in a billion floating stars

October…. The Goddess

Those golden suns and purple leaves
And shadows creeping long and lonely
From scenes of many happy dreams
In fields full of fragrant stars and asters
October like a goddess of ancient splendor
Comes riding down the mountainside
Reflecting waves of spectacular color
Dancing delightfully in her eyes

Breakout

Breakout!
When explanations make no sense
When every answers wrong
You're fighting with lost confidence
All expectations gone
The time has come to get infected
Go to a barbeque, don't hestitate
Breakout!
Don't stop to ask
Go ahead and take off your mask
You've got to find a way
Get infected today
Breakout!!
Some people stop at nothing
To be sure that you have nothing
They close down the restaurants, close down the stores, wipe out the jobs
Breakout!

Silence rewind reset

Silence
Cities once loud lies now on silent ears
Inside they hide
Afraid to go out side
Locked away
Thier own prison cell
TVs on 24 /7
Solitude they hide
Only venture for food and pay the bill
They hide from the unknown unseen
danger outside life now stopped
People afraid of the outside follow the new
Rules mask on don't cough don't sneeze
Why go out side

The Last Leaf

Walking in the autumn sun
A touch of cold in the air
Waiting leaves one by one
Fall to the ground unaware

Past the white picket fence
Nothing can stop their fall
Downward will commence
The last golden kiss of all

Tossed in a growing breeze
They tussle with our mind
As gentle as a feather please
Will rests with all its kind

Till a gentle snow will come
Pressing and matting down
Begin to fade and glum
Will soon become all brown

Then only a few still cling
Such that rattle in the night
When a soft breeze bring
An end to all their plight

Finding the You in U

Finding the You in U

To find the wonderful person in you, you have to share time and adventures with yourself. Take a world cruise or a simple adventure with just you. Take the time to get to know you, enjoying every personal port, and stop along the way. It could be your first and it could be your last.

Best Features:
Your best features are all of them as each of them makes you who you U are and who you have become. But the most important is the kind heart and willingness to help others achieve. However, you have been told that U listen well, have a unique look and a calm spirit, and a captivating smile. You tell me what you like best… and I will tell you what I love the most about Me.

About Me:
A person is judged by their deeds, actions, and spirit, what will people say about you and why? If you don't know find out if you don't like it, change and if you don't care then you need God more than you know. Have a wonderful day in getting to know you, spending time with U.

What I'm Into:
I am an Infrastructure Architect, I design friendships that interact to create harmoniously with matching souls and a passion for greatness. I promote intellectual thoughts stroked with kindness and a sense of style. I would love to entertain you, romance you on the beach in the moonlight, and dance in the rain.

What Kind of Friend Am I:
There is a miracle called friendship that dwells within the heart and you, you don't know how it happens or when it even starts. But the happiness it brings others classifies you as a friend. It always gives a special to the person and you realize that Friendship is God's most precious gift. The happiness that life brings may not come from riches or fame nor diamonds or pearls, but the friendships you build and the love you give.

Potential

We all have it.

<Evolution>
v

is preserved within the constant state of change. Growth can (at times) be like building without the appropriate tools, but the more we learn the more we may realise that we are not alone and the tools that can formulate a progressive state of being can be passed on by those who care.

A journey shared is a journey not lost.

This is not scripture so don't be giving out!

ANGEL CAFE

Embedded image from another site

RIP dod: 9/17/2017

God has a new Angel in Heaven today
Leaving his poetry friends astray
Lost without our Castle leader Café
The knights are sad and the maidens afraid

Café Jim brightened all our days with fun
He also strengthened our Spirits with love
He never judged but treated everyone equally
Giving his friendship and his love freely

Greatly missed in this corner of the world
You were one of God’s rare black pearls
Heaven has gained a wonderful Knight
The Castles up there will surely come alive

To all our loved ones in Heaven watch out above
Café Jim is there now – surround him with love
If you wonder how you might find him up there
Look for an Angel with a Halo slightly bent over his ear

Love - Godprincess and all your friends at CS Poetry Corner

BACKGROUNDS OF GREEN.

Hints of green, sway in the breeze
gentle and fragile, thoughts tease
Winter ends, as buds burst forth
Seasonal proof, we're well on course

Lifting spirits, with bright skies ahead
Sun is warming, dormant flower beds
Colour will herald, vibrations of spring
Allowing natural pleasure, emotions sing

Chill after dark, our patience is taught
Nature not for sale, cannot be bought
So every morning, we welcome a new day
Lightness develops, soon forgotten drab grey

Soon to be discarded, heavy weights of cloth
Replaced by light cottons, the flutter of moth
Until beautiful Butterflies, add to the scene
Colour spectacular, on background of green
