BROKEN

You found me broken at the side of the road
Dazed, confused and almost no hope
You sat down beside me and chatted a while
Then stretched out your hand and said with a smile
“Come walk with me down this road
We’ll take a few steps and see where we’ll be.
It’s a good time to live, just come walk with me."

I looked up and saw magic in your eyes
And felt a spark light somewhere deep down inside
You held my hand and dragged me along
“This is life’s road. It’s where we belong.”

I walked by your side in wonder and awe
At the beauty that is in all that we are.
You showed me the love you wanted to share,
So I walked at your side along this strange road
Learning of love and yearning for more.

I turned to the side and the path that was there
“Come walk with me down this wandering path?”
You smiled as you said “Of course I will dear.
We’ll make our own path and tend it with care.”

So we walked down that road paying no mind
To those who would laugh as we passed by.
So when we walked home the very last time
And we lay down forever in each other’s arms.

And when we were gone and the laughter had died
All they could say is,
”Where are the lovers so old and so grey
Who lived their love new each and every day.”

About this poem:
I write quite a lot now "I am Broken and alone"
and I wrote this in about 15 minutes when i Woke in the middle of the night. At the time I was just starting to explore the realm of dating. Unsure and eager. I was rewarded by a scammer contacting me one one of the sites i was on. Never the less I was flattered and this is what spilled out of me that evening when I thought that I might have received an opportunity to love again

BEST DATE EVER

Did you know you are my best date!
Incredible isn't my dear friend?
But believe me it must be fate.
It's like you are the straight to my bend!

You fill that place deep in my heart.
Yes you did. It's like I am whole today,
Fresh and ready for a brand new start.
With you around I can make my play.

You lift me up and make me strong.
Raise the bar of happiness I knew.
Promise me, you will stay very long
And be above all; honest and true.

This is my best date ever! You better believe!
I don't need a lot more that I have now.
I didn't have to ask, but I did receive.
The perfect date ever somehow!

Isn't it incredible? Fate is what this has to be.
How could it not be? Won't you agree?
It is plain I am sure for all to see.
The best date ever is you and me.

Love of Music can heal your soul

Music
Heals your soul
mends your heart
Frees your soul to soar fly
Gives u an appetite
Burns calories
Rejuvenates
Gives u hope
Inspires motivates
Gives u harmony to melody
Brings the Angel
Home to your house
Harmony
Complimenting melody
To shine in your smile
Grin ear to ear
Sparkle like the sun
Glow eclipse like the moon
Music the language of love
Multiply mate
on time of the beat
Learn teach share mend
Love reflecting love
Harmony no discord
Can u hear the music n the wind
In the shine
See the wheat & heirloom grass moving to the
Beat wave ripple of the wind
Flowing back & forth
The
Breath of God!
So tall there the
Twins or triplets fawn moose
Rarely seen playing there
are protected in their nursery
To frolick & play
Jump & leap
Skip a beat!
Mesmerized by their fun!
They are so busy & happy
They don't see u sometimes
Hidden so predators can't see them?
Music
In the waves cleansing the oceans beaches
When the seagulls call
When the flowers sway n their beds
When they give their nectar fragrance perfume
When the birds chirp calling their mate
The frogs leap
When the fish jump up
To release their eggs
down stream
When the rivers current cleanses
down hills & streams
from far above
the mountain tops from the clouds of heaven
To the springs creek
Down to the meadows
For a doe or deer to sip refreshing sweet water
To quench their
long awaited thirst
Music quenches your soul
Like love of
a hug of pure affection
Bliss!
Any kind of music can heal your soul
It has power from the beat
To put a smile on your face
For the whole human race
I could swear
I was falling in love ...
That pulls you in from its tantalizing beat!
Be it the sounds
of the cave man
To the jungles or desserts of Africa
Accapela by Accomplished artists
W sometimes
no instrumentals only vocals
Or Rock pop country
gospel opera
any kind
To pull u n
N pure joy
The sounds of bliss
To make a lucrative profit
The unique sounds are so
genuine authentic sweet
You must have them
In your own private collection
On DVD CD
For millionaire artists
to finance mansions
From sharing
their Sound w the world
It
Becomes a natural melody
Heard all over the earth
Resonating in orbit
Circles around the earth
From best sellers
number one hits
again again again
To manifest their dreams
Of designs divine
Young or old
Toddlers to Elders
Who tap their
fingers toes uncontrollably
In bliss in your soul
Keeping the beat
Rhythm of life
Sway their
Smiles hands fingers
arms shoulders hips
To see them shine in their moment so divine
Their sweet loving voices
Complimented by the chorus
Heard thru the Forest
Before us
Joyous
Join the chorus
Sing to the choir
Before us
Music has
such an intense beat
I feel it in my feet hands shoulders backbone balance beam swaying in contentment on the piano bench
Oh the rhythm divine
My Fav the theme from Romeo & Juliet
"A time for us some day there'll be
When chains are torn
By courage born
Of a love that's free!"
A yearning mating dance
From playing piano 20 years
My hands become like a conductor
My fingers
Right & left hands
Playing on an invisible keyboard
A beautiful feeling
Content in my soul
From playing cello
In an orchestra
That's the most sublime sound you can hear
Better than any place
To hear it in the middle of a group
The yearning longing crying of the strings
The horns
The drums cymbals tambourines
The violin mandolin
Guitar
The sax
The steel guitar
Like "Barbara Mandrell"
That itty bitty little lady
She played 10+ instruments
With that yellow blonde hair
& a set of Pearly whites grin to light up the room
Entertain a crowd
To standing ovations
Again again again
heart that cries to relax
instrumental&vocals
That lure you in
Like
A Fishing pole
Hook line & sinker
Calling your mate
Come home
I want you
Hot Enticed Seduction
Harmony calling me home
To Our Nest!

RETURN OF YESTERDAY

Embedded image from another site

Yesterday you were a memory in time
Today time appeared to stand still
While with an odor – sound – sight you were here
Thus yesterday again became very real

Feelings and visions tugged at my heart
Thus bringing grief to the front
Overpowering waves of memory rising
Sweeping my emotions with the tide

Riding the rolling waves to shore
Arriving there all battered and bruised
Surviving once again the waves of grief
Memories pushed back to yesterday again

Friends That Day

Siting round the table there
Friends I didn’t know I have
Truly blessed beyond compare
With all Love that I have

Wistful emotions did swirl around
To fill my soul with love of them all
Why do I have them hanging around
Wait is that a tear that dares fall

As my heart begins to swell
Tears flow quickly from my eye
Why they leak I cannot tell
And make the moment pass me by.

Oh it must linger past this day
Please don’t let it fade away
For if it does what would I say
About those friends I found that day

My eyes were filled with joy awhile
Because of friends so wonderful
My heart filled with love did smile
Contented, grateful it was full.

I’m sad to say the night has come
It’s time for us to part again
Until another day does come
For us to gather once again.

About this poem:
Last week I organized an outing inviting three of my new friends to gather on Saturday. By the time The group was to get together No three but eight people had gathered at my invitation. So I purchased the extra tickets and off I went. When I walked in and saw all their faces I suddenly filled with such great emotion my eyes filled with tears. A two to three hour get together grew into and eight hour gathering. Here is the result of that event.

Love hungry ripe ready to reciprocate

Love hungry ripe ready to reciprocate

This poem was born
From a respond
I sent to
Candle in the wind

Like love
Your style of poetry

No one to cuddle struck a note:

Humans need many kinds of nutrition
Food Spirituual love touch
We need companionship of like minds
Equally yoked in Sync.
regardless of age time space place
We all spin
in the same orbit
on the same planet earth
3rd rock from the sun
In the Milky Way galaxy
A part of the
Unlimited
infinite
Universe
A mate is
A priveledge not a right
A luxury we seek
That shines
bright
like a diamond
We long to seek their shine from afar
And shine in togetherness

We have
Hearts that need mental intimacy
A thirst to be quenched
Hunger for love
Hugs that need expressed
Like mothers milk
Souls that need watered
Hearts that long for their mate to
Reciprocate
Saying,
"please come home
To me!"
Join me
love me need me
respect me seek me
Hungry w desire
But not desparate
My desire for thirst needs quenched
My hunger for love seeks balance
A soul that desires to share
To be needed loved wanted desired
And the greatest of these is Love faith hope charity
I Corinthians 13
Love hungry ripe ready to reciprocate

Not seeking a man
That
Is
Failure to Launch
Failure to Detonate
Or A Delayed reaction man
But a true participant
Willing & able
To Communicate!
He Makes the Time!
Takes the time
Because he wants to
Not that he has to ...
Not offering peanuts tid bits
Just scraps
To fall between the cracks
Trying to waste my time
Trying to only seduce
The naive women
or
young girls
but a real woman
A priceless wife!
Or just calls
Only late at night
For this is an investment
Of a real woman
Not a date for Lust
To entertain you
On the phone
That is not my goal
But a lifemate
Soulmate
Best friend only!
Again need a man that
Reciprocates
Vs.
Failure to Detonate
Or Failure to Launch
With a delayed reaction
To communicate
Non Participant
Doesn't Resonate!
Unattentive
In the Art of Communication
Ugh! A man that expects
U to do all the work effort ...
Only an
Attentive Man will do!
Simply the best
Better than all the rest
A higher caliber of
Two so in Sync
It's HOT
in the kitchen
tub bedroom
&
In the Private balmy Cabana
By our pool
Behind our house
Mmmm!
Seeking
ONLY
the "Real thing!
a Good Gentle Man!"
Disdain for men that think it is appropriate to call
"After hours"
We have both had full days
I'm spent
Running on fumes only
They seek you to provide a conversation to entertain them, flatter their ego when they too are too tired to communicate any more
And they seek flattering poetic romantic conversation to get turned on by mental intimacy so they can have physical intimacy so they can do a solo act in their own bedroom:
I have eyes in the back of my head
I know what they do after they hang up the phone!
Geese Louis
Also dislike a bunch of questions after hours
They are calling to see if there is a man in your house
N your bed
No there is Not
U call & I can say
Call during normal hours
2-7 pm
Leave me alone in the morning I'm getting ready for work
Leave me Alone after hours I'm trying to unwind b kind
After a long intense day to relax
before I get my beauty sleep
Don't try to keep me up after hours
I have a schedule to full-fill
Tomorrow And appmts.
I seek to keep
Please I need some privacy
Space for myself
To Unwind!
This is Not a 7/11
Open 24 hours! Ugh!
A real man is secure not insecure
Dont just try to call after work
When u have no more to give
I don't like it
R U listening
U r busy M-F 7 am - 9:30 10:30 11:30 pm
Busy all day Saturday
All day Sunday and holidays!
Treat me like a real woman
respect me
Or I will
Move on
I'm burned out from u
and the world daily Interrupting my sleep
Leave me alone
I'm going to the she cave to retreat unwind
I'll be out when I'm done
My own terms when I'm ready!

Round and Round

The world keeps spinning round and round
Always moving never stopping
Dancing to the universal sound
Through our galaxy we are sailing

Stars and star ships dreams do make
Wondrous adventures for our minds
As we gaze upon the stars and remake
Dreams from memories of mankind

Stars are dancing night on night
Blinking, winking keeping time
While we marvel at this sight
With no thoughts of the end of time

Or of this dance we dance from birth
Again and again since time began
Upon this stage that we call earth
Playing our part in a well-made plan

This dance we do again each day
Danced by mankind through the ages
Never changes it's the same each day
Taught to all by strange mages

As new dancers take their turn
And learn life's steps anew each day
Often graceful often clumsy yet they learn
Those new steps to their own play

The world keeps spinning round and round
Always changing never stopping
Dancing to a brand new sound
Through the ages, ever playing

The Gathering

A friend of mine once did say
It's by great chance we are here today
That through all the events that went before
We came to be is quite rare that’s for sure

Imagine the odds for us to arrive at this time
To mark with me this special place in time
That I might gather such dear friends as you
To celebrate this year of life with you

Your presence reminds me how blessed I am
That you chose to come and watch this program
To spend with me your greatest treasure
And spend your time on this night of pleasure

Did you know the love you show fills this aching heart
And piece by piece your love has healed this lonely heart
You made me feel alive, wanting to do my part
To share how you mended this man’s broken heart

Abused, confused and so unsure I didn’t know
Of love and friends oh so very dear
Your love broke those walls so well built
And showed the way to end the guilt.

We all have walked this road built through the ages
Traveled by our ancestors and great sages
Day by day year by year time slowly moved to this day
So we could gather here this night this way.

So let’s enjoy this time we share
While we are with those of whom we care
For the times we spend together is so very rare
And today joy and love we will gladly share.

In Love with oak & maple trees

In love with oak & maple trees

Trees get me excited for spring
Growth
Progress
Thank God
The long cold hard winter
Is leaving for warm weather!
Water vs. drought
So very thirsty daily for precipitation
For a drink
Much Water needed for growth
Sometimes
My thirst can't be quenched
Daily can't get enough water
Dry Dessert cold sometimes!
From 500 million acres of forests fires burning last summer in Alaska
I can't sing
Literally not enough
Spit to swallow
because it's too dry here since summer
it's now April of 2020
Since summer of 2019!

The Love of oak & maple trees
Strong hard woods and colorful aromatic SAVORY aroma from maple leaves from a higher power of his annual fall collection of his paint pallet!
The evidence of his power glory!
Astounding from an aerial view
in its vast array of
green yellow orange red magnificent: when a cut maple leaf is xrayed the missing part can still be viewed a miracle in its own right! Many fall leaf lovers

Always in love with Oak grain
Always have to run my hand
Across it & touch it!
It could be considered a fetish or Love of an almost Lost Art
highly desired by many
rarely seen
in today's modern world
The Love of trees especially oak wood round to oval antique lion paw dinette set my favorite
To touch its smooth as silk wood grain I could make that texture out w a blindfold on Mmmm
It Is a joy touching trees
that are rare to find
in the stores anymore
Now only pressed wood from pressed sawdust scraps & glue ugh!
A wonder
where had she been
what did she see
how Long did she live
if you could count her rings from inner to outer wood grain of her dense hard wood grain growth circles? How long could she live?
Like the sequoia tree if u never cut her down
Many trees extinct species
Due to mass lumberjack
Harvesting
Tossed into the river
To float down stream
Too dense to harvest
Sunk to be harvested
by permits
100 years later
For guitars mandolins
violins cellos base
Great read!
U kept me on the
edge of my seat
w mystery
wanting more w anticipation
Wanting to know what
will happen next?
Great story
Man thinks he knows best
Not
Mother Nature does!
The cherry tree
missed the oak
Greed took the oak
for timber for furniture
Cherry isolated
needed that friend
now only memories of the dedicated loyal oak are left
The good ole' days
They may even have taken her trunk & root ball out
carved sanded polished
& turned it into a piece of art
or an expensive chair to last for centuries unbreakable
unforgettable
like
nat king cole
Pretty as a penny
yet priceless of
a grand daddy of them all
or grandma
Awww
Absolutely stunning
Loving
Endearing
I grew up in a lovely home
When you went to bed at night
All you heard was the trees branches swaying hugging the smaller ones
protecting them from the storm
When thunder came u heard a big crack!
yep he-split right down
the middle the weeping willow
U better get out of bed
before it hits you
In the head!
Or breaks the window
Wall or heaven forbid the roof, her limbs arms extended out mammoth in
Girth could do some serious damage to
our Beloved home
Thank God it didn't crush our previous loving home
Dad trimmed the tree
Patched the crack w something like
pitch or pavement
until he said no
She needs to go
aunt chopped hers down to the quick every few years amazing to her surprise a million new shoots shot up and it regrew back huge
her willow wasn't leaving
she was home
well loved
rooted deep!
Go out and check it for safety sake to not kill someone
u knew from the sound
it was broke
fallen a faithful lover
flexible to the end
to hold up his friend
grateful it never
hit the house
Nor a mouse
Or spouse
and the birds
chirping a tune
Love calling
their mate
come
fly back home
come hither
come back to Me!
whistle whistle
here I am!
Ultimate restful sleep!
Love trees!

Isolation

I Miss My Flying Like A Bird
I Miss My Coming to The Nest
I Keep Sitting In My Nest
I am afraid of The Pandemic
Virus called Covid 19
I Trust in GOD
Want to Fly again
The Friend Birds Says
Keep Sitting in Nest
If you don't have the Virus
Other Birds may have
One Intelligent Bird said
The Germs Of Virus Fly in Air
Its keep on multiplying
All Over The World
Keep sitting in your nest
Till the Order Of The GOD
To The Virus To Bury In Earth.
GOD KEEP ALL HUMANS SAFE FROM PANDEMIC
CURE THOSE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM IT
