"My Mom the Best Divine Kind"

My mom
The best
Divine
Kind
Her world revolved around her family
Unity
Peace
Togetherness
in the kitchen
Laughter
Cooperation
Her voice of an angel
On earth
Singing a loving song
To her children
When we returned
Home from school
Always elegant music
Awaiting our return
On the stereo
She made the time
Gave the time
Took the time
To love
Freely
Because
She wanted to
Not because
She had to
Perfect Hostess
Devoted Sister
To Four Beloved siblings
Precious to see her
So devoted
Attentive to them
The interaction
Priceless
She was like their mom
Most memorable
She'd put a meal
in the oven
Before church on Sunday
Roast beef
She'd get up early
Before church
Jump start the meal
Put it in the oven at a safe temperature like low 200
Carrots celery onion
Potatoes
Always tender succulent
Roasted to perfection
SAVORY gravy
We'd come home from
Church
The aroma of the house was so SAVORY
You couldn't wait to eat
She might whip up some
Biscuits to go w it
Or Betty Crocker
Buttermilk cake
The short
version
Or intense frosting
Version
Never a problem for her
She made sure u learned how to do it
Her buttermilk cake
Our favorite
Tender moist desired
Birthday cake for everyone's
Request for birthdays
She always made it in a stainless steel
Oblong cake pan
That was actually
A
Faberware roaster
It didn't matter if she made it short or a double batch
We always had a large family
And it didn't last long
Maybe
White frosting
W coconut on top
Or
White mountain frosting
Or 7 minute frosting
Must use a candy
Thermometer
And make sure it reaches the right stage to set up
Or peanut butter frosting
This cake pan is my most memorable
Family heirloom
And her stainless steel measuring cup
W vanilla still on the spout
From her cakes
A short little Finnish lady
Of 5'3"
Queen of the castle
Adored by
Dad
I can see her
in her apron now
At the sink washing dishes
Dad walking quietly up behind her
Wrapping his arms around
Her Waist hugging bending over her petite frame
Her trying to act surprised
He'd gently hold her
kiss her neck
Kiss her cheek
U always knew
u were loved
Planned for
Wanted
adored
She
"Always had the best intentions
Pure Motives
Of Love 4 U
A house
Full
Of
Culture
Music
The Arts
Singing
She gave all of us
The opportunity to play
An instrument mostly piano
That piano was enjoyed by many
And one of my best friends
For Over 20 years
Including
Grandma "Lembi" love
Mamie
Togetherness at our
Solid oak
Round to oval 11 leaf table
Lion paw feet
That table was the
center
of the house for everything
All types of learning
Family history
Family reunions
Bible study
Pizza day
Speed reading
Phonics
Flash cards
Penmanship
Teaching the boys everything
I was their little
2nd mommy
Big breakfasts
Healthy
Much to choose from
But stomach
Only the size of your fist
Fresh
fruit & vegetables
Always
Satisfying
W
The secret ingredient
Love
Always
Even if it was just Campbell's chicken noodle soup w krackers
Or tomato soup w grilled cheese sandwich
Fair to her children
At Christmas
Even Steven
Dedicated loyal true
Grateful
Team player
Loving
Unconditional
Mother
Teacher
Work horse
Powerhouse
Persistent Sylvia
But w class patience
Determined
Not a hard task master
Reasonable
Sweetheart
Tender sweet
Seamstress
Artist
Designer
Focused
Planner
What's the word
They use now?
"Domestic Engineer?"
The glue that holds
The
Family
Together
Train up a child
In the way
They should go
And when they get older
They will not depart from it
A family that prays together stays together
Can't remember
The best one about raising a child
To let them hear
Only good kind loving
We only heard peace
Which created children
With
Peace
Contentment
Poise
Confidence
Contentment
Sharing caring
Memorable Moments
hiding behind
Love seat to watch t v
Peace out

This Empty Soul

A tear rolled, and though she tries hard to hide
It fell, splattering all over like shattered glass

Sitting alone, looking down, reflecting, wondering
This empty soul, this lonely heart; aching, sad

Silence too loud; unbearable, this loneliness
Wishing for someone, anyone willing to listen

When no one sees the pain, when no one cares
It breaks a fragile heart; it decimates the soul!

Each day she puts on her best; sweet smiles, crisp laughs
When she sings, her voice takes over to take her pain away!

About this poem:
I wrote this for a beautiful mother, a beautiful wife, an awesome singer who is going through a lot at the moment. When another woman pours her heart out to you and you feel their every pain and anguish because you've been there or it makes you realise that's exactly where you are at that moment; a special bond can come out of it.

There is so much pain, due to unmet needs that creates a feeling of loneliness or at times neglect. She longs to be loved in a manner that resonates to her but the other person insists of loving her the way he wants to. I find many make this mistake; maintaining love is like maintaining a car...you can't put diesel in a petrol-fueled car nor the other way around and expect it to last. To me that's so simple...I don't understand why people can't see it.

It is sad how we have made married- life like it's just a joke. We see everyone of us wearing smiles, posting images of fulfilled lives...family lives especially...when most are broken. This obsession of wearing a facade...I don't get it.

I cried with her; that very moment I understand why she feels alone. I always feel alone and though I am really good at filling my life up with so many things to do and I don't rely on anyone to do the things with in life I totally get her when she said "to have someone to share life with, to have someone to create memories with, to have someone to converse with especially when you are in a foreign land, to have some who shows care and concern, to have people who really do their hardest to connect and make you feel like a significant part of their lives, can make life so much more meaningful and could save a lot of marriages and kids from being victims of broken homes and broken lives". I totally agree with her.

Content
Adult
A team player for
their mate family & church
If u spoil them too much
U will do no favors for their mate
Many years
I helped disabled adults
Once met a young woman
Her hands had never
even buttered bread
her mother spoiled her
too much
Thinking she was
treating her like a princess
She was molding her into
A non productive "invalid"
Her mother passed
Then who was
going to do the work
The mother had once done?
She could barely
dress herself
Or make a bed
Or make a pb. & jelly sandwich
Nor pour a bowl of cereal
It was like watching
An adult
W invisible ropes on her hands
Chains restrictions
of slavery
Because a mother
wanted all the credit
Vs.
sharing
N
everything
Normal mothers do
To Teach their children

If
"Sharing is not learned
There will be no Caring!"
As an adult her hands were crippled uncoordinated
For the tasks
we take for granted
Her hands were born normal
But no developmental skills
Ever developed
manual dexterity of any kind

What a crying shame
&
cruel

I bought colored play dough
And cookie cutters
It was difficult for her
But she enjoyed it
And voiced the sentiment
"I've never done this before
I love it"
Another woman had never completed a puzzle
Over 22 years old
Bought big puzzle pieces
The size of the human hand
Colorful Disney poster puzzles
In about 30-45 minutes
She proudly placed the last
Puzzle piece in place
And said,
"Wow! I've never completed a
Puzzle ever before!"
Don't buy ' a zillion puzzle pieces
No to 100 250 500 1000
Piece puzzle
But Yes to 12-65 piece
Big puzzle pieces
Yields Confidence smiles
Contentment
Vocal and instrumental
So good for the brain
Math stimulates the brain
For
peace
harmony
contentment

Harmony in all ways
also
Breast feed 'em as long as u can
Tuck 'em in
Hug 'em
Hold 'em
Tell 'em u love em
Poise honesty confidence

About this poem:
Wasted wait away.
Waiting time wasted away.
I watch the wait.
I wait on the watch.
More and more time wasted away.
Always waiting for this and that.
Precious moments passed away waiting, that you can't get back.
Waiting so long, on and on.
From one wait to another wait.
Too late.
Timeworn away.

Drogons roar

The white queen
Naked she stand for all to see
Three Dragons seen
Small in stature

Conquest to full fill
The iron throne she will want
From fire and breath her

Mother's quest
For Drogon hears her mother's breath
From snow to dust to the

unsollied her army march
On ward in slaves freedom
Prevails
Her wanton just the throne she hails her quest her derivatives to

follow her path her love for one
Her down ward fall
Heart broken the thrust of his knife her body lies life taken

Drogons gazes his fires rage throned burned kingdom dead
To drogons home the white queen carried lifeless

Life gone to dragon stone the resurrection my queen to live once more revenge you seek to kill the snow new dragons rise the

white queen lives once more revenge is sweet to live again

Foundation

To be willing
to put a crack
On solid foundations,
would I not be
Too dumb, too stupid,
too shallow
To hurt a loyal heart, proven
To be resolved, faithful, true;
Free spirited
yet long-suffering
Willingly facing
challenges with you?
Loyalty! Honesty!
Dedication!
Much too rare these days
While a few nice words and
Fleeting moments of glee
Floats everywhere
Like a hailstorm
Bombarding us daily
out here in cyberspace!

Silent Shadows

silent shadows running thru the fields
as Silence molds the clouds all day

silent moonlight bouncing through the trees
as Silence skips across the lake

silent snow flake falling like a ghost
as Silence swings low thru the gate

and silent stones gather no thoughts
as Silence gives my heart away

Oh Lord,
when my heart
is with you
its shield breaks,
oh how it breaks
in the most tender
silent ways.

Love in her time of NEED!

Love shared to a stranger
In her time of need!
Somehow find peaceful "solutions
Challenges"
John Lennon
All we are saying
is
"give peace a chance!"
Oh so sorry 4 your trouble
Do u believe in God?
I just endured
8 plus weeks waiting
In line to replace
a furnace system
that it was very cold
here -20 outside,
62 sometimes inside,
the human body
about 98-99 degrees,
30 plus degrees different
(but alike we are the
same-peace suggestions)
I had to hang tough for 9-10 weeks very tough
Then one day my day
finally came to pull the complete system
("I'm in Alaska")
my house about 1500 sq ft.
They had some space heaters on but
not cutting the mustard,
by day one I was very uncomfortable,
day two feet frozen beyond memory with physical aggravation anxiety,
I woke up day 2
with cold in my body so bad
wanted hot soup
went out to the kitchen
NOT
Did a 360 grabbed a
3rd blanket and
a huge heating pad
w all my clothes on
and a sweatshirt
I placed the heating pad on top of me
then blankets with my arms protecting the bed from catching on fire
cranked it up as high
as I could take it!
tucked my hands in
between
sweatshirt and heating pad creating
a
"kangaroo pouch"
The heat was warmly welcomed by my hands:
Heat on my palms
&
the top of my hands
Aaahhh!!!
day 3 all 3 zones were on
by afternoon but infloor heat is slow recovery time, meanwhile ugh
my hair was a wreck,
I am still making the demonstration of one stran of hair at a time to unravel
&
Daniel In the lions den
that
not one stran of hair was singed by fire,
smoke
or scent
vs cutting my hair
now I'm like the cartoon tangled
not much to do
How do
U spell relief?
Kangaroo Pouch
Thermophore
Moist heating pad
Has chammy sleeve
About 27" x 12"
Others too small

"Taking a break"

nearer
the finish line
than
We
think
"don't give up"
the ship till an irresistible force throws u from it
my cup Runneth over
w the thought of completion
"My Dear u r
stronger than u think
U have come this far
U can do it
Ask the Divine to Unwind"
Let no mere
personal attachment impel
Your motives w animosity
Somehow peace to u
No condemnation
No criticism (MBE)
No friction
Change the channel
MLK somehow
found peace for the masses
Jesus Christ
somehow did his job
Ask the Dear Lord
what are your
assignments
solutions to peace?
Where u too
can have
inner peace?
during the process
To restore
your world to
Normalcy
For surely this
knots nest
In my hair will be an
illusion to normalcy
Soon!
Where I'm not branded
w a knot
On the back of my head
Only God knows
what I have endured!
And he will give me peace!

Faith Hope
Love
Peace
Charity!

Turn the other cheek
to not look in the mirror!
"Let no man
stamp guilty on your forehead with invisible ink!"
But Helen Reddys
song of the 70's
"I am woman hear me roar
w numbers
too big
to ignore!
No ones ever gonna put me down again!"
Look up the lyrics on google
Title peaceful
Peace out!

Cold to the Bone

Solutions
Cold to the Bone

Sometimes life throws us snowballs and our hands
And
Toes
Freeze
Sometimes we
Must find heat
To
Melt!
Necessity
Is the mother of invention
Truely
My heat failed
About
4-6 weeks ago
62-68 degrees
Human body 98
30 degrees cooler
Brrr ...
-20 outside
It's been quite difficult
To bare
The burden
Daily
Colder
Almost unbearable
Finally my house
Came to the top
Of the list for repairs
They ripped out
My old furnace system
Yesterday!
Only space heaters
Ugh!
Yesterday was tough
At night I woke up frozen
Wanted hot soup
But too cold out there
Got back under the
Covers
with a 3rd blanket
Body stinging w pain
My fingernails
&
Toenails
N
Pain
Like military
Germany
field cold days
Ugh!
I put a thermophore
Moist heating pad
Across my chest
Cranked it up
As high as I could
Stand
It!
Tucked
My hands
Between my
Sweatshirt
And
The
Heating
Pad
Creating
A
Kangaroo
Pouch
Hot
This way
My palms feel heat
&
The top of my hands
Hot
Toasty
Warmth
Aaahhh!
Now
How do I spell relief?
K a n g a r o o
Pouch!
THERMOPHORE
Moist
Heating
Pad
Has
A
Chammy
Sleeve
27x12

Dreams of Our Love

Dreams of Our Love

"Our Love David"

I picture
"Us"
Like two swans reuniting on
A quiet country setting
Gliding
Across the secluded pond
In Unison
Graceful, Elegant, Tender
Intertwined Enveloped in an affectionate
Lovey Dovey tactile tender neck embrace
Swaying swooning to the rhythm
Of the tender breeze, current, flow of the gentle wind
On a warm summer balmy day ...
Gliding across the calm of the morning water ...
Aaaahhh ... Oooohhh ... Mmmm ..
Did you know
Swans mate
For Life?
Pure Elegance Grace ...
Luv U Honey ...
Mwahhh! ...
Snuggling cuddling
Spooning
Together
Water just right
Cuddling in white thick
Down Feathers
Mates for Life
Content
Happy wife
Happy life
Daily basking
In Our Love for each other
Never to part
Pure Bliss Extacy
Of loving Companionship
True love
Peace Joy Harmony
Melody
Song
Swimming the sea of Life
In kindred spirits
Happy as a Swan
Busy as a humming bird
That even their feet
paddle across the water
In unison in song
Whistling humming singing
A happy tune
Enjoying the Nectar
Of True love
Willingly lovingly unselfishly
A bond of only kindness
Teamwork
Affection
Admiration
Adoration
Respect for one another
Where each blooms and grows
Blossoming into song
The ugly ducklings that have blossomed to the
cygnets
of fluffy gray down
to the
white Swans of Grace ...
If someday you are out
Near the pond
With a camera
Quietly respecting
Mother Nature
Maybe you will
See them creating a
Heart shape with
Their necks and heads
Catching it on camera
Stealing a kiss
To share w others to enjoy ...
The beauty and grace
They make with their Love

With Humans sometimes
Love in the kitchen
Is the center of the home
Other times
the bedroom of Privacy Bliss
Other times the whole family unit
Of loving companionship
Or the office of Design
Through Love
For All that truly matters is Love

We can learn much
From Mother Nature
She is a real teacher ...
Always allowing
Picturesque scenes
Of Gods designs
"Masterpieces!"
Grace color line
Scupting even the
River sides of sandstone
Where the native Indians
Paint and carve
For us to view the grandeur
For centuries
Of Gods' choices of
Creativity
of his brush strokes
of color line texture
Water land rainbows
Northern Lights
The beauty in his sea shells and animals
Horses w their mane blowing in the wind
Buffallos that their hair color in their lifetime will change from sacred white to red to brown to black a majestic strong animal
Color beauty glow comfort
Peace out

Lovingly,
