I am extremely guilty of losing touch with a good buddy and I have really regretted it.
But I'm a single irresponsible man and sometimes coming home from a hard days work overwhelms my senses and the days just seem to roll. I didn't think about it at the time but I could have picked up the phone and said "Hi", but, again, I didn't.
It's worse to lose touch with a friend that's close by.
Congratulations to ALL who have a degree be it man or woman!
And when it comes to love, well, real love knows NO boundaries. Just being a gentleman I think would really sway alot of ladies attention to you if your really serious!
Us being guys and not thinking too well some time in the ability to communicate our "soft" side use that thinking it is something you ladies would like to hear. Were just trying to be pleasant and nice to our ladies.
Naw! I think it's normal. I have been divorced for 35 years now and I still think of my ex occasionally. I think of her beauty, I think of her inability to grasp life and understand the pitfalls and become so paranoid by them she would refuse to do certain things, I think about her dwelling on her lack of self confidence, but I also remember her for being a caring mother and strong willed when she would believe in something.
I would never ever go back to her especially now. But I still think about her without love or hate.
Clothing from different countries is beautiful and the clothing from the South Asian countries is exquisite. I really like the African style of clothing, too.
I have been single for 35 years now. I don't find it dismal because I go out dancing and I have met some nice ladies during this time. Get some of your gal pals and go out to some club and dance! You may find that guy.
And speaking of Valentines Day! I suggest that all of us guys make sure we flower the ladies on this site on Valentines day. We have some very sweet ladies here on CS that deserve some attention!
I used to, but not anymore. With age comes the privilege of ignoring anyone that treats you badly. You young people have it too. You just don't know it. try it, you'll like it!
Yeah! Legal meds are crazy and expensive. I had cancer a few years ago and the chemo they were using could have killed my liver. Thank you Jesus it didn't. All praise and glory goes to Him!
I was driving home from work this morning when I heard it on the radio. I was going to see her sing in person so many times and every time I was doing something else.
You are so witty. Too bad my nephew is married because the 2 of you would be good together. Like you, he is crazy funny and he comes up with the darndest things sometimes!
I have been alone for 35 years. During that time I have had a few dates and a couple of "relationships". But in 1995 I accepted Jesus as my saviour. Since that time I have remained celibate and waiting.
I will wait for God to move in my favor with a woman. And if not, I am married to Jesus Christ and I will be his one day!
I would wait. Go to a bible based church and look! You will find!!
That scripture you last mentioned is in Proverbs, I believe. Let me know the exact chapter and verse and I will look into this special bible that I have that interprets His word.
Toni! As a Christian brother I am rebuking you. Do not argue and let people say what they do because you know that Christ also said that when people do things to you forget them because they are doing it to HIM and He also said He will make the intellects have no wisdom and the meek rich in wisdom.
Just testify and witness and leave it at that! Let people say what they say and don't worry about it. One day that person just may say that I am ready for you Christ. We will love them now the way they are and we will love them when they're saved!
I know exactly what you mean and the Glory of God is shining in your writing. All praise and glory to Him in the highest! Amen!
@ Virgo: I am so sorry that you have had a terrible problem with finding your kids. I will pray that you find them soon.
@ presuming m: There is one teacher that I really liked alot and I always wanted to see him and tell him what he meant to me as a person and a teacher! His name was Curtis Erdman and I don't think I will ever forget what I learned from him.
It was probably about 10 miles. It was ok but nothing to write home about. She didn't look like her profile shot, but that was ok because we weren't getting married or anything like that.
I don't think I would make a long trip for just a date, but if I were going to a specific area and the "friend" lived nearby I would certainly ask her out!
You know Ter, I am seriously thinking of relocating to Texas for several reasons. Chicks being the last, but for financial reasons. I love California but it has gotten way out of whack with the styles of living high on the hog. That's way past my time. I gotta retire to a more sane style of living.
My advice as a former handyman technician? Never work for a friend! They, God bless them, expect work to be free or discounted and perfect to THEIR expectations.
Forgive your friend if she wants to come back but just stay away from that incident subject. I know, it hard but it can be done.
