I don't understand. He came and went about a decade ago. It was in all the papers about the folks who left with the rapture and who were considered missing until they figured out what happened. Maybe 100,000 folks just vanished. And maybe 200 corpses suddenly crawling out of morgues and tombs. Some of the preachers who didn't recognize him even made a bunch of popular fiction movies about it. Some books too. We all know what event Walking Dead is based on. I know when I saw the light I recognized him but declined to go because some of my friends weren't seeing him and I ain't leaving them behind. So anyway He has been and gone. This is the day after. One or two thousand years before the next one. So it happened already, so what are you asking us about?
Also check the refrig, stove, dishwasher, clothes washer & dryer to be sure the one in there is the same one that was in there when Mr. Wonderful moved in and not a cheaper model substitute. I have been down that road.
The only good Pretzels in America are the salted ones sold by street vendors in downtown Manhattan. However, while you in front of one of those carts, please also try their Knish (a kind of mashed potato pancake) and also maybe a NY Hotdog and don't forget to hit a pizza parlor for a slice of NYC pizza. :)
I miss family reunions. Keeping them going across generations though is hard without something physical all the generations can see. Now may be a good time to perhaps speak with the townsfolk about having a park named for the family Patriarch, or even a monument to his good works. That physical thing, future generations can point to as in, 'that was my ancestor' will help keep the tradition and memories of him alive.
Come over here by me and the fire. I will put some music on. Relax, don't let the lightning and thunder scare you. Have some tea, let me put this blanket on you.
Just think. If you had not lied to the sister of your date at the movies last week, you would possibly be waking up next to one or both of them and they could have played with your wood, but you messed it up dude. LoL
When did you leave the waters not in the Bahamas and move to somewhere near SA? Are you in 3-258735=-257331-16552 (junior G men, please use your Secret decoder ring)?
Widowed 2.6 years, but had a friend come by at the end of the first year. Psychologically it did have some healing benefit. That ended about 6 months ago (on very good terms), so am thinking of a quick dip in the 'pool' again, but have no desire to go back into the deep end yet.
Put down black plastic to heat the soil, then a week or two later put tiny holes in the plastic. The seeds go in the hole holes. That will greatly cut down on the number of weeds between your plants for awhile. When your seedlings are an inch or two high, remove the plastic. You have now given your veggies a head start on the weeds.
Scarily enough both my own parents and my wife's parents drilled us with the same saying. "I put you in this world, and I can take you out of it too." Both of our parents meant every word of that, so we each separately behaved.
Possibly sad it is that society has taken away a parent's God given right to determine what is and what isn't bad seed.
you got food in the refrig, a roof, and electricity. What you griping about. I know of a half dozen folk without those things who would probably move in tomorrow with you if you brought them there and let them.
"Okay "ken" are you saying that like dogs or cat we are conditioned to act by the conditions of our upbringing and that we really cant make the choice on our own."
Well that was half correct. Yes we are conditioned by the upbringing and the environment. We smell something good on the grill or in the kitchen and we, based on past experiences, make a choice to investigate. So do cats and dogs. Like Pavlov's dogs when we hear the microwave bell ring, we react. Do you have the choice to ignore the bell? Yes. Does the cat or the dog have that choice too? Surely they do. Offer the cat something better (from his/her perspective) and they will ignore the microwave bell. There are two primary differences between us and the 'lower' animals. We have hands we can both pick things up with and also make stuff with, and we have communication capabilities they lack. Some animals have hands, but very little communication capability. Other animals such as birds and whales can communicate, but they have no hands. We are unique animals in that we have hands and a versatile communication capability. No other species known to us can make that claim. Alternatively, evolution has given them senses of smell and hearing far more developed than ours.
Should say "Including Possession Of UNREGISTERED Machine Guns"
It is a step in the right direction. Hopefully the incarceration will have some impact over and above the creation of new promotion opportunities within the Boston mob.
Actually Danny Bogart has a point. After all this time of looking, t'would be a durn shame if that one little deception and growing concern over it cost you the whole enchilada.
