The 2 TRILLION dollar gift of unborn taxpayers in the newly ueber lib led USA....

Hey, Micman. I'm also a bit north of them thar Straits, as well. Don't I get little credit? Especially with the Hottentots.

Cheap suit of drums might be better, ct. I have one.

The demise of local print media...

See, really merely average, in every way.

The demise of local print media...

Absolutely precious. Newer stop, until you vanish.

RE: International Women's Day

I love women. Some more than others. All may have been red kneed at some point, but some are more so than others. Viva, es lebe, vive, long live--- those red knees!
But all women, 'specially moms, deserve praise on their special day. And on all others.
But Christmas Island?

Confucius, ancient Chinese thinker....

Yep, LCBR. A WWII US general supposedly lectured to his troupes. "Boys, flies cause disease. So keep yours zippered up."

Confucius, ancient Chinese thinker....

Yep, AB. Couldn't have said it better meself.

RE: I hate varments.

Drivel meisters would do better to mosey over to the dear dead Poets' corner here. But as it falsely bolsters the other fake things to brag about, can't be suppressed. VERY fake.True neurosis, in the Freudian sense of the term. A challenger to treat.

Confucius, ancient Chinese thinker....

Swamp creature R as ever hot on the physical appearance of those whom he envies. All here who have eyes, can just look and say WTF.

Gambling, under any other name...

Yep, LCBR. All for increases in the basic wages. Our measely $7.50 per hour hasn't changed for years. And for wait staff, under $3. Tips rarely change much, except in the best eateries. Inflation---not so much. Any inflation index would do, but worst ones are for food, housing, education and health care.
Personally, I'd try to induce employers to do so with attractive tax and other economic tricks. And perhaps also index increases in the wages to inflation. All to help save jobs.
And radical changes in the tax confiscatory (for the poorest) policies. Best would be a flat 15% or so VA consumption tax on all services and items. No other federal taxes. And for the working poorest, at least a yearly rebate check on taxes spent while consuming.
Other Ideas, but I'll save them for when I'm on the ticket with three times President Trump.

How many times this....

Right-o. Epirb. On 406 clear channel VHF to satellites.

Gambling, under any other name...

Thanks, LCBR. Well, as shown by our Las Vegas, and with Native American slot machine houses/tables in nearly all States, we have our share. But put your name on my list, if I win big. I tell the 8 dollar an hour busy staff at the convenience stores where we buy the tickets, that if I win, I'll buy the lady who sold the ticket a car. Then I print her name on the reverse side, next to my signature.
Who really wouldn't do so, with a few million? Who could make this up? They all laugh.

How many times this....

And in your case, SL, the use of the word "for" for "far" somehow fits. Hang around with the FFF, and you'll begin frantically to correct and apologize, immediately. Pathetic. Revealing. Digressing.
But yours may indeed be an interesting case. Fake claims of conservative sensibilities, VERY fake, comorbid with stage four TD-HD Syndrome. Nowhere in the world literature, so far. I'll have a few hottie interns at the prestigious Vierk Institutet on it right away. They are part of our formidable shuck 'n jive department. We use them often, as does the Micman. Lot's of billable hours spent on the last affirmative action Potus, and on the currently impaired illegal one. And lots of private intern time with me in my orofice. Yum yum .

The Potus in Exile's awesome speech.....

Weekly rallies from now until He's in the House, as new speaker. Now there's the rub.

The Potus in Exile's awesome speech.....

Real, not Trumped up, 25th amendment material for sure, Micman. But when he gets bad enough in the cognitive decline, some lib Shrink or Neurologist will be consulted, he'll be examined and tested, and will resign. Sans the 25th. Clever plan all along.
Heard it here first, and you didn't scoop me this time. So there!

Bill Gates and wifey...

No, No, all. Just FFF scratching, as usual. I always send her up the street, to the local puffter's. Gracious kindness, I claim. I do mot digress.

Bill Gates and wifey...

Well, all---Wait, just wait. Must be the women scratching on the back door once again. Later, alligators.

RE: Been A Minute

For heaven's sake, GT, so sorry for your experience, and loss. Yes, I've been there as well, in several quite different situations, and it can be life changing. Many evolve stronger from it all, but for the few who don't, avoiding help isn't the best option.
And for those who brag of feeling stronger, at least until the next US election, and impeachments, puleeze. Pride often comes before the fall.

RE: COSTCO raises their MINIMUM wage next week to $16 per hour, average there is $24 per hour

And thousands of workers will be homeless soon, replaced often by robots. Economics 101. Tough stuff for some.

I know a fellow from Ukraine, here in my town. I call him Tovarish, and he calls me Yankee Doodle. Go figure. I mostly think it's in good fun, but am never totally sure.
Migrated a couple of decades ago, and bought an asbestos insulated old High School, that he turned into a theater and apt./office space. But when he had to abate the asbestos, wasn't such a great deal. Pipes, walls and roof needed redoing. Don't even ask about the pre-1976 lead paint.
Never asked him, but he may have been an oligarch, as the whole operation wasn't cheap in the end.
But we learn from each other when we chat over Dobra Chai, from time to time. May put some of it into the memoirs, as cautionary tales as to one party communist states. Along with my time in the DDR.
They pretend to pay us, and we pretend to work.

There was a time, years ago...

CC, on target, fully, as always. And T-M, c'mon, friend. Now is that really fair to all the other MSM dorks? He'd change his tune in a New York second, for a higher paying contract at the most rabid of the media. On either side of the fence. Don't doubt

Do as we say, not as we do....for another two years....

Yep, Micman. And the more we see things like HR 1, 127 and 350, and AOC shoving EO's in front of neuronal tangles Joe, for him to sign, before his daily memantine dose, the more likely it becomes real in two short years..

There was a time, years ago...

Well, Micman, the solar index is still low, so that's part of it. My ham radio chatrooms/nets are down in number, for the same reason. But yep, the God Squaders have always polluted the bands, but I'm hoping it's more a relative phenomenon, as above.
Recall, most of these snake handlers/hot coal trotters are in the States, so we tend to receive more of them. But yep, perhaps there are more, regrettably so.
And the real tragedy, is that the Holy Bible, as most such Books, really have much good to say. But these marginally educated, buff-hairdo top, cheap Zoot suited, Southern drawl/tongues types, make it all sound ridiculous. We see some of it even here.
Whenever I hear someone like that trying to tell me what the Goddess Godhead really wants, and really thinks, my mind shifts to an ant or a bee looking up at me, and telling her pals what I am thinking. Pathetic. Almost abusive. Certainly deeply revealing. Hardly in the sense of Revelation.

Bill Gates and wifey...

M, yep, and control your Glock, and you hit the target. And now folks are stealing my lines. Ouch! You can't make this stuff up.

RE: Niagara Falls like you've rarely seen it

Hey, W, our friend. After finishing school, as an impoverished student, some dear friends in Buffalo put me up for two months, while preparing for my first federal licensing exam. So I know the Niagara Falls climate, especially since I was there in winter. Nice town, but pretty cold.
Thanks.
