RE: Breaking News ! The president and vice president both resign !

Shucks, JN. You and I could have joined forces to do a much better job than any buxom, red kneed, botulinum toxin poked female. Put a bit of balance back into the swamp, we would. Thesis, antithesis, synthesis, no?

RE: Still single

Hey, girl. No monkey business on CS here. Aren't you really my heart throb from SL? Just where is that cyberscrutinizer when we need her?

"Payday Loans",...and ways to take advantage of po folks...

Many good thoughts, my many astute CS birds of a feather. Yes, the shunning by most banks of the poor, certainly made incentives for many entrepreneurial opportunities and opportunists. Same with various emporia of quality and value where poor live. Welcome to the free market, which many on the left like reflexively to dis, often white guilt self loathing obsessively, while all enjoy the cushy life,--- with health care, food, transportation and relative political freedoms, they shamelessly enjoy. Day after day, year after year. And my right wing views would be loathe to support anything but mostly hands off from government. A glance at the high living of Party hacks in, say, the PRC, and corresponding big government controls, often self protective, and arbitrarilly so, is the best lesson here. But yes, credit cards with add ons can have effective interest around 30%, but never to the 200% in either the pay day world, or from made men Gino and Salvatore on every big city street corner. Lots more to say, but enough for the many "do as we say, not as we do", pathetic lefties here. Rigid anti government regulation knuckel draggers on the far right as well. Wearing Greek fisherman caps, or military fatigues, on either side of these discussions, may make you feel a sense of belonging, and delayed adolescent identity resolution, but no one is fooled. THINK MORE BROADLY.

RE: Blackface...

Yep, and those silvertones, originally for a buck fifty, are selling for well over one large these days.

RE: Blackface...

Yep, C, I've had a few of these great older tube amps. The Fenders were nice. Recall the dirt cheap separate head/lower cabinet gray ones by Sears, in the day. Silvertone midels, and could be had for way under USD200. Also tubes, and a real mechanical echo chamber. Four inputs, and with lots of head room, and six 10' speakers, ---pretty much all a garage band needed, for smaller venues. I now play through the one power tube VOX electronix, and love it, as modeling amps go.

RE: FM Radio is at an all-time low...

OK, C. But there are many on CS in this regard much much worse than I am. But some have gotten better. And when I see bufoonery by the slugs on the right, I try to comment as well. For instance, I'm always saying that while I like how Our Brilliant President Trump is honoring more promisses than other pols, EVER, his many warts are annoying. But it's interesting how those on the left often get upset over even the smallest amount of politics, in an otherwise topical blog. Parties of tolerance and inclusion.

RE: FM Radio is at an all-time low...

Well, C, all good points. Radio in general has changed. AM now is full of mostly right wing blowhards, or is only for daylight service, sending out low class red neck music or community info. Short wave (International AM, and sometimes SSB signals), has lost well over half of the great, and not so great, stations/services. But as the solar sun spot cycle is still low, hard to fairly judge SW. Even the venerable Beeb, perhaps always the best radio overall, certainly for news, has cut back, and now is mostly available on Public FM. They still do broadcast to developing parts of the world, notably the Dark continent, which I can receive on short wave, but only because of my Ham station and skywave antenna. I've been a fan for over half a century, and continue to chat as a radio extra class amateur, but few younger folks are taking up the hobby. Yet, it's not all doom and gloom. FM does have some good left and right wing show hosts. And information shows, on world news, finance, health, etc. But it is becoming increasingly syndicated---read, ---the suits will dictate programing, more and more, based on business school thinking. Also, since the US FCC allowed low power FM, thousands of these great, creative stations are on the air, and sometimes, the music is varied and good. Ditto for university FM. Finally, with the internet radio service apps, we can stream FM from all over the world. I can listen to my university FM in little Freiburg Germany any time. Sure, much is typical ueber leftie college millenial zero life experience mindset radio,----but interesting music, or reasonable facsimilies of same. Little known fact----the human body is resonamt as an antenna on many FM frequencies.

RE: Autumn Time

Yep, UF. I've always found it better in the long run, for all concerned, esp. with regard to favorite recipes, to train other family members to be closer to my tastes, than to use any codependent/enabling manovers. But it all takes judgment.

Imagine, just try, the place you live disappearing....

Thanks, KB. Well, right you are. But when I recall my times traveling in China and the East Block, there's little honest comparison betwen the untoward sequelae of each respective econo-political system. Much greater than the huge differences in rank careless environmental degradation. But my Blog merely brought up two such issues. The US loathing (envious) left likes to make such comparisons, AS IF, but everyone with eyes and ears knows what really cooks.

"Payday Loans",...and ways to take advantage of po folks...

Good point, KB. Simple living rules.

RE: U.S. Veterans Day - November 11

Thanks, Red. Mumbo jumbo---I like that. When I self refer, I might just use it instead of rant. Well, you are of course correct about wars in Nations' histories. Few don't have it. Even no military Costa Rica had guns in the streets a few decades ago. But don't you think German national mindset has been influenced as per my MJ? Perhaps worse, youth there struggles with identity, tough enough without a Third Reich.

RE: Rare Mercury Dash on Monday

Yep, JN, and keep these hints a coming. Missed it as well. But I do have proper filters on the 8 inch reflector. Clouds here a bit. Ah, yes, so many inches. Once upon a time. Tough getting old. Please, CS cyber scrutinized, block this posting from all those hottie CS ladies.

Many know the 50's song..."If you want to be happy for the rest of your life,

Ah, JN. Once again you hit the nail squarely in the right spot. Now if you could just work a bit on your political side.

RE: This is why today's media is called 'FAKE NEWS'

W., First thing we do, is to shoot all the lawyers....and media editors. Who said this?

BLACKFACE...just knew it....well, well, well...

Mahalo. No beef, bro'.

RE: Snow !!!! No !!!!! Go !!!!

Yep, JN. As one of the highest taxed states, should be plenty of moolah for snow clearance. Of course, with corrupt dems in charge, who knows? And many republican governor led states have fuel asssiance programs for the poor. NJ?

Many know the 50's song..."If you want to be happy for the rest of your life,

Once more, the deep wisdom of us CS posters. Topping the list is surely our own CC, leader among all us more girly men, spewing forth his solid truths, ever far above any logical challenge, stalward, incorrigible, astute, fearless, and much more. A goddes's gift to CS. Sans doubt.

RE: HAS ANYONE EVER REALLY FOUND A TRUE,IN PERSON MATE ON THIS SITE?

I've had many dozens, some visiting from afar, M. But I'm so picky, I keep pushing them away, sending all but the fabulously rich packing. All except that scrumptious SL mom.

RE: What do you think IT is?

Could be all our powerful body magnetic fields, no, G? Or maybe the one that makes Reiki so effective in cases of cancer, and terminal kidney/heart illness.

RE: Reviewing Kentucky's election

W, and all. You mean there are some woman like that? I'm doubly shocked.

RE: More shifts at work, temperature change and bad drivers!

So glad for you, P, that you are still there on the job. Continue the great enthusiastic work for them, and let the agency know your interest. As you are doing. Prayers for that fulltime gig.

RE: Reviewing Kentucky's election

Jawohl, alle. Doch unheilbar. Sie wissen aber, dass ich die schrechliche Krankheit nun als TD-HDS bezeichne. Trump derangement-Hilary deficit Syndrome. Passt gut, nicht wahr?

RE: Reviewing Kentucky's election

Thanks, ST. Shocked, I say, SHOCKED---thet the left biased madia is giving all your valid and relevant facts the tiniest light of day, The electorate that will put our brilliant President Trump in for another term see it all. Including many independents.

RE: We Won !

And thereafter, Oobs, --- life in conditions of Democrat run cities, government schools, the Affirmative action POTUS' unaffordable health care confiscatory plans ---and Jimmy Carter economy and military misadventures. Can't wait.

RE: SCOOP: CIA, FBI Informant Was Washington Post Source For Russiagate Smears

Yep, W. AG Barr and his unbiased assistants are loaded for felony conviction/prison time bear. Subpoenas/indictments out soon. Affirmative action ex POTUS on the perp walk---tingles down both of these old legs.

Mikail Gorbachov.....

Yep, R. Perplexing though, that the alt/ueber lefties, with all their fake news/overturn election coup, fretting over all the harm our Brilliant Prsident Trump is bringing to the universe, that we haven't heard how he'll also get us into a nuclear war with Mother Russia. We of long memories recall how the same moonbats fretted large, biased media in tow, over how that monster Ronald Reagan was of similar intent, "vote Reagan, and build a shelter." Instead, he worked with Premier Gorbachov to begin the largest nuclear arms reduction ever. We'll hold you up to the light now, and forever. But don't take my word for it. AG Barrr and unbiased assistents will soon have many felony indictments for those who tried, repeatedly, variously, and always failingly, to overturn the democratic election. Tick tock, me man.

Mikail Gorbachov.....

The Russians are much weaker, over the past 20 years. Militarily, economically, diplomatically and in the elan of their citizenry. They know and feel it. Their feelngs of insecurity, in the light of the dreams of Putin, are a dangerous mix---they still have lots of nuclear arms.

Back from leaf raking on all 4,000 hectares...

S, we might get snow this WE.

RE: Curiosity

For all to see. Poor English grammar, and low class display of crude, not really funny, topically totally unrelated, poor taste. We see it often. Guess who? Case of Forster's in the fridge-always a cold one in the hand, perhaps?

Back from leaf raking on all 4,000 hectares...

Once more, the H man spouts solid wisdom.
