RE: He created in his own image.

OK, U. I will take that as written permission to put one of yours side by side with mine. May put Shri Lakshmi and Vishnu under them, not sacriligeosly, but merely out of honor. Waiting for a more special private photo of the lovely U to worship as well, and I won't complain if you skimp on the threads in the pic.

Longevity....really only a life bargain when combined with great health....

Right, you two. Euell Gibbons, nut and twig crunching TV environMENTALIst and animal lover, died quite early. Lots of similar seemingly contradictory cases, in both directions.

RE: Kokomo... there's a mouse in the house!

Yes, C, and all. These rodents do invaide this time of year. But unlike in the desert, where their relatives harbor a (Hanta) deadly respiratory virus, apart from the occasional noise, they seem pretty harmless. Kudos for the uses of humane traps and in placing them on release at great distances. Since having our own large animals here, at the spacious Vierk mansion, we don't seem to have mice as much. Fortunately the cats have never (yet) proudly brought any in to share with us at meal time, so perhaps merely their precence is working. Hope so. Earlier this year, while helping a neighbor clear brush, we found a nest of voles, all blind as bats. Mom dutifully was caring for all 8 of the little pink creatures, and we just protected then from larger predators with temporary chicken wire barriers. They all grew, and after apparent weaning, we let them go. But we could well be living among pumas and grizzlies, or elsewhere with garden destroying roaming pachyderms, or Vierk eating tigers. Grateful, in perspectives.

But really, CS folks, what is it to be rich?...

Over the years, I've found that my bedding is much easier to sleep soundly on, when I stuff it with bills of larger denominations. Hundreds bring on the sweet dreams much better than the ones and fivers. Funny how that works.

RE: President Trump Drawing Biggest Crowds Ever At Every Appearance -- Breaking His Own Records!

The huge support and overflow of attendees are clearly related to Ukranian hacking and turning supporters into zombie robots. Russian cryptohypnotists could also be the reason.

Sir Winston supposedly once quipped....

LK, I'll have to remember that one. Hohoho.

RE: love

Vierk's sleeping schedule. On a hot first date, both in 20's or 30's--- No sleep. In 50's or 60's, and married 30 years--- A full 10 hours.

RE: love

Yeah, but who really does any sleeping?

Sir Winston supposedly once quipped....

Same with you, W. That lady was reportedly one of those self-loathing, bitter, unloved, rich, hirsuite, non goop/perfume using, saggy old, white guilt libs. English to boot. The worst sort. Hope I'm never stuck for hours in a stuck elevator with such. I'll be blogging from the Big House, y'all.

Sir Winston supposedly once quipped....

Thanks, all good comments. And KB, those were my next comments. You took the wind out of these tired old sails.

But really, CS folks, what is it to be rich?...

Yes, all, and thnks. There sure are charitable rich folks, and cold families and spoiled kids are out there. And my health is also a major source of personal wealth---at least as long as Big Little Vierk can still jump to attention when provoked, and angry.

But really, CS folks, what is it to be rich?...

A agree, Ex. I know lots of "wealthy" folks who are not healthy, happy, charitable, self loving, etc. And yes, CC, I have often had the same thoughts, adjusted perhaps a bit for family and residence.

Diagnosis of TD-HD Syndrome...

Thanks, MM. I agree. That's why I say it's all a work in progress. And sure, I'd probably flunk most tests of sanity. In good company here, no?

Diagnosis of TD-HD Syndrome...

Gracias, amigito. Pero no soy rico, ni pobre. Gracias a Dios, verdad?

Progress in medical science...

Thanks, Ex. Well, all great suggestions, and you are right, CS isn't always productive. But I've been going to Judo training since being here. Had finally to learn a way to fend off all the female suitoressses attacking me at all hours.

RE: US Unemployment Rate Fall To 50 Year Low !!! Last Time So Low When American First Walk On Moon !!!

D. Nothing to do with Trump. Was Clinton and Obama.

RE: Hillary Clinton Announces She Will Seek Reelection As President Of The United States

My dog Bravo, 89%

RE: what colour is my face?

In ol' Loosiana, hardly an octadroon, I recon.

"Proofs" and "evidence" for causality, in most "science'...

Yep, R. My pet peves as well. Taxes and lobbiests---each one drives the other wastefully.

RE: Food As Medicine

All, written proof of what I"m saying.

RE: Hillary Clinton Announces She Will Seek Reelection As President Of The United States

Can it really be true, W. ? President Clinton, VP Fake indian Warren. Sweet.

"Proofs" and "evidence" for causality, in most "science'...

Spot on, Raph. It gets worse. The issue of repeatability of results has formally been studied. Seems like the reported effect sizes are off by as much as 60%, and over a third of reported results are otherwise non reproduceable. And as to FDA drug "approval" , only recently has the reporting of negative studies been made mandatory, along with "possitive" results, in favor of licensing a new agent, or apparatus, or procedure. And in the positive ones, the differences betwen study and comtrol arms (placebo) are often way under 20%. Finally, even with this, only 2 positive studies are required for drug approval.

RE: Oversensitivity

Hey cat. Short stature has rerely been a self image issue for me. But with advancing years, Big Litle Vierk seems to worry more about related shrinkage. How's that? Should I have a pep chat with him?

RE: Gotta luv that kid !

JN. Well, might have to love her, but not so her professors at Boston Juniorversity, where she allegedly graduated with a BA in polysci/economics. Seems not to know much from the fields. Confused recently on the differences in measures of central tendency---a key statistical concept. Mean, median, mode---Duh? But knows how to pander for votes with all due Dem finessse, and does have nice nails.

RE: How the Dice Rolls

UF. Not a secret for many of us that your blogs are a form of self help. A lot of this going about on CS. But where do we send the bills?

RE: How the Dice Rolls

S. Perhaps it's not useless and overkill. It shows a sweet and decent side to this lady, ever mindfil of family, and caring in these regards. All grist for the mill of any man looking for a possible good catch. But yes, this very revealing info might be better spread more selectively, say after identifying a man of interest. She may wisely be casting a wide net. Verdad? Good strategic sensibilities. It is an attractive presentation for more grounded men seking potential quality. And if it cheers up a few CS folks, all the better.

RE: How the Dice Rolls

UF. You have already spread the joy---vicariously. Good way to do so. Enjoy all the good news.

RE: Karma

Yikes, Catman's karma bit my dogma.

Perhaps the most common question women ask to begin chatting here....

Or when one gets my age, Ex, "does it still snap to attention?" And U, I can be your back door plumber man. Copper or PVC---your choice, hot stuff.

RE: A New Look At Relationships

Yep, Catman. Nice blog. And you mentioned the most important words for a man to use in a relationship with one of those complicated female creatures. "Yes Dear". And one can always add for efffect---"that was about the best idea I've heard for a long time, you beautiful genius".
