Been to the garden centre today and spent about $100 on plants ... I call it the Annual Sacrifice to the Plant Gods ... cos they always die !!!

If you were to read "Conversations With God' (Neil Walsch) you'd discover a completely approach to child raising :-)

Similarly in 'ROOTS' ( sorry author's name has slipped my mind ) there you'd see the concept of 'It takes a village to raise a child' at work !

There's no 'absolutes'

These opinions seem to vary from time to time and across different countries eh ?

It's interesting to hear the current trend in your country ... down here (NZ) people have been delaying having children and now there's a big big gap between parents and children ... and it creates many interesting situations .

A woman who was born when her mother was 25 years but waits until she is 45 before having a child ... well, her mother is 70 years at the time of birth of of the grand child ... maybe she's not now so well her self and cannot do many things ( baby sitting for example, or driving )

And maybe the woman decided to have the child alone ( IVF or etc ) it all gets very 'interesting' eh ???

What I wrote was "You MAY have some growing up to do " I certainly did when I was your age, and even now at more than twice your age I STILL have some growing up to do ( mostly I'll continue to fight that !!!! )

Yes, I think love is something we learn as we get to know the other person ... some women feel love when they are told 'I love you' some feel love when the man 'does things' for them... some feel love when he buys gifts ... we're all different, we all feel different, we all love in different ways ... we can learn 'that part' of love !
